On Sunday 26th and Monday 27th March there will be a special WW2-related theatre evening at the King’s Head Theatre, Islington (London).

Angela Richards who played the lead female character, Monique, in the BBC’s popular 70s TV series Secret Army (recently released on DVD) will be singing all the songs she composed and performed in the series as well as some wartime favourites like Lili Marlene and I’ll Be Seeing You. During the show she will also be recounting the role the RAF and the Belgian evasion lines played in WW2. Many of her former co-stars from the series will also be in attendance and there will be a question and answer session after the show.

Period uniform/dress is welcome.
