And the German onslaught doesn’t stop there, it’s Half-Track time! Check out these clanking beasts…

Maintained in immaculate condition, these machines coped easily with the muddy conditions, despite their apparently slender forms.

Here’s the Hetzer we saw earlier driving around. Unfortunately, the Museum decided to run this at the same time as the Tiger I, which meant I had to keep switching my attention from one to the other…given the age and the historical interest in these vehicles, it might have been better to run one at a time so the crowd could fully appreciate them all.

In a set representing the "End of Empire", we were then presented with a group of British vehicles, commencing with this Saladin Mark 2 armoured car.

A Comet Tank and a Centurion Mk 2 also attended.

To the right, another vehicle which was bound to attract a lot of historical interest, it’s a Soviet T34/85, arguably the best Tank of World War II (but I still love my Tigers).
