Last year I picked up your May 2004 issue on the D-Day invasion. I kept it for a resource if I ever had a chance to visit the battlefields. I am currently over in France and the magazine came with me, what great maps and stories. I attached a picture of me in front of the 1st US Infantry Division Monument overlooking Omaha Beach holding the Armchair General tour map.

Thanks,

Mark,

Thank you for taking our magazine with you on your trip, and we are overjoyed you were able to use the guide for some field exploration! Reports like this let the ACG team know our efforts are indeed helping readers (and travelers!) learn more about history first hand. We can’t ask for much more!

Don’t be surprised if your letter shows up in a future issue of the print magazine!

Thanks for writing.

Best regards,

Brian King
