Enemy: Enemy forces in the center have crossed Phase Line (PL) Black in 3 Bde AO and are in position to cross PL Black shortly. They have recognized their success in the center and are shifting combat power there in order to create a penetration and divide our defense in two.

Friendly: 1 Bde (ME) retains its sector. 2 Bde is decisively engaged and cannot reposition forces. The east and west flanks are retaining their positions.

Mission: The reserve attacks to block penetration south of PL Blue in the 3 Bde area in order to prevent the bypass of 3 Bde and the possible envelopment of the 1 Bde (ME) from the east.
