SUMMARY Fight in urban terrain when you have to or when it’s to your benefit to do so. However, do not do it if your troops are not trained, organized, equipped, and rehearsed. This is truly a recipe for failure! Study Grozny 1994 to understand the failure generated from ill-prepared MOUT.
