Sword Stolen from Lincoln’s Tomb Recovered

A copper sword stolen from Abraham Lincoln’s tomb in Springfield, Illinois, has been recovered. A teenager has been charged with the theft. Click here to read the Springfield State Journal-Register article about recovering the sword stolen from Lincoln’s Tomb.

This is the second time this sword has been stolen. The first incident occurred in 1890.
