Enemies from the Great War were on hand, including full Russian and German uniforms.

Not even some of the worst winter weather in decades could keep the big show from happening. Dealers and collectors of militaria traveled from far and wide for the annual event known as the Show of Shows, and this year it was a big show indeed. While the recession shows no sign of receding, prices remained firm but so did the quality of items offered for sale and viewing at the annual Louisville, Kentucky event sponsored by the Ohio Valley Military Society (sosovms.com).

With more than 1,600 tables at Louisville’s massive Kentucky Exposition Center there was truly something for everyone looking for military collectibles. Here is a recap of what you could find at the 2010 SOS (February 18-21).
