Roaring Glory Warbirds DVD Collection

Still you will learn a lot more from each DVD so that each small error doesn’t eclipse the value. The photography is gorgeous and the sound is amazing. You really get the feel of the power of the engines in the warbirds as indicated by the title of ‘Roaring Glory Warbirds’. In fact the DVDs are optimized for home theatre systems and the sound is truly deafening if not handled with care. These DVDs are a work of love by all the parties in the making of them and it shows.

There are 10 DVDs in the series which includes: A6M5 Zero (featuring the only fully restored, authentic Zero flying), B-17 Flying Fortress, B-25 Mitchell Bomber, F4U Corsair, F6F Hellcat, P-38 Lightning, P-40 Warhawk, P-47 Thunderbolt, P-51 Mustang and the TBM Avenger. Each DVD has a list price of $19.99 each or the complete set sales for a list price of $159.99. For any aviation enthusiast or fans of a particular warbird the DVDs are highly recommended.

Finally it would be remiss to not salute Jeff Ethell who died in 1997 doing what he loved. During a test/check flight on a P-38 Lightning; it suffered an unexplained engine malfunction, crashed and burst into flames. Jeff succumbed to the burns inflicted and the aviation community lost a legend.
