PR: Lock ‘n Load Publishing Announces Men in Black SaleArmchair General November 21, 2006 | 0 comments | Print | E-mail Lock ‘n Load Publishing Announces Men in Black Sale Waffen SS to help sell Band of Heroes Henry, VA, November 21, 2006 – November 24th, the Friday after American Thanksgiving, is titled Black Friday. Despite the ominous moniker, it’s a good thing. It’s the Friday when the Christmas shoppers turn out in mass to begin their holiday purchases, and American stores are “in the black” (i.e. making money). To celebrate the event we are offering the “Men in Black” sale. Every purchase of Band of Heroes from midnight on Tuesday November 21st through midnight November 26th will ship with EXTRA Waffen SS counters. That’s right, in addition to what comes in the Band of Heroes box, we will ship you 16 full SS Squads, 7 SS Half-Squads, 4 SS Leaders, 2 SS Heroes, 1 SS Medic, 1 SS Sniper, SS Support Weapons, and 2 SS StuG IIIG Assault Guns. These are the same counters that come in the game –die cut, and still in their sheet. And –just because we are nice guys and girls– we’ll also throw in a bunch of Fallschirmjagers, a pair of the much maligned 7.92mm Wehrmacht Weapon Teams, and some field gray tanks. All that for nothing, notta, zippo, zilch! Just order BoH between the allotted times and you’ll get the counters. What’s even cooler, we’ll release an SS monster scenario during the week of December 4th that will let you put all those extra counters to good use. You gotta love us!
