This P-38 crashed in Greenland in July 1942 while in transit to the British Isles. Buried under 270 ft of ice, the plane was excavated in 1992 with funding from a Kentucky businessman. It was restored to flying condition and is currently based in San Antonio, Texas. A reproduction A6M Zero was also on display and later participated in a fly-by. Tora 101 was built in 1952 by Canadian Car and Foundry as an advanced trainer for the Royal Canadian Airforce. It was used in the 1970 film “Tora Tora Tora” and is valued at $250,000.
