Another supply truck is pursued by a Panther tank. OK, I’ll own up, it’s not a real Panther, it’s just a remote-controlled model – but an incredibly realistic one. I may have drooled a little.

This car would be handy for those ever-so-annoying traffic jams, it comes complete with missile launchers on each side. Actually, it was part of a James Bond stand which was selling all sorts of 007-related memorabilia. The older German vehicle in the adjoining picture has the advantage of at least being real – which one would you prefer to ride in? Answers on a postcard please…

Before you say anything – yes, I like German machinery from the WWII era, but no, I’m not deliberately focussing on it to the detriment of everything else, there really was a hell of a lot of it there, I’d be remiss not to share the experience with you (I wonder if I got away with that justification…).
