POSERS

During my travels around the show, I found an inordinate number of people who were prepared to pose for their photo to be taken whilst in period uniform, so without further ado, I hereby commence the first ever "Posers" section. See if there’s anyone you know amongst this motley crew…

To start us off, some lovely ladies, a Luftwaffe signals girl on her bike, and a couple of RAF ladies who were being interviewed for the radio.

OK, I’ll admit it, I was trying to snap the young lady, but the Knight in armour is a real poser…

I’m not too sure of the authenticity of the sunglasses worn by the chap on the left.

A Longbowman smiles for my camera, but the Saxon warrior just scared me…

Here’s a Russian Guard who posed, and an RAF Officer who didn’t, but that just makes him appear cool and sophisticated, anyone can carry a gun.

Here’s a fine upstanding gentlemen in German uniform from the Great War. And two..erm..children. Wow, they really fought young in those days…

Ah, this is more like it, some older chaps from the same war as those kids – maybe they were on a war apprenticeship or something. Just a little further down the road, an American Civil War soldier takes a ret with his faithful dog.

Two fine examples of Britishness, you can’t get much more British than a pith helmet and a funny moustache (it’s OK, I can say these things, I’m British myself).

To round us off – two complete posers, it’s me with "Lt. Devin" again. Sorry.
