‘Lt. Dan Band: For the Common Good’ Featuring Gary Sinise Premiers Online July 4

Looking for a patrioticly themed film to watch this 4th of July? You might want to download Lt. Dan Band: For the Common Good, a feature-length documentary that chronicles the two-year journey of Academy Award-nominated actor Gary Sinise and his “Lt. Dan Band” around the world as they entertain U.S. service members and their families. Lt. Dan refers to Lt. Dan Taylor, the character Sinise portrayed in 1994′s Forest Gump, for which he was nominated for the Best Supporting Actor Academy Award. International Movie Database (IMBd) describes Lt. Dan Band: For the Common Good as, "The journey of a man and his band and the heroes they meet along the way."

Streaming the documentary will provide donations to The Gary Sinise Foundation, "which honors our nations defenders by supporting the USO, Operation International Children, Snowball Express, and other such charities and efforts that support the military, first responders and their families," according to the film’s Website. "When you stream Lt. Dan Band: For The Common Good – one out of every four dollars will be donated to The Gary Sinise Foundation."
