By A J Summersgill History News |  Published: June 11, 2005 at 12:15 pm

The ever-popular International Festival of the Sea returns to Portsmouth, Hampshire in the UK between 30th June and 3rd July this year.

During the Festival, visitors will have the opportunity to walk aboard many of the warships participating in the International Fleet Review where ships from the Navies of over 40 countries will be gathered, as well as mix with Naval personnel from every corner of the globe.

With 2005 being the 200th anniversary of the Battle of Trafalgar, the scene is also set for an exciting celebration of more than two centuries of Royal Navy traditions and history.  If you are a Naval buff, this promises to be an even not to be missed!
