You and Greene proceed with care towards the rear of the German line. Once there, you open fire and the German line falters. The paratroopers realize the German line is in disarray and lay a heavy stream of fire down upon the German position. Unfortunately, this is the same position you occupy and several stray rounds sink deep into your chest, blasting the air from your lungs with a bloody wheeze. You stumble backwards, regain your footing and are hit again, this time by enemy fire. Greene continues to fight valiantly, but for you the war and this life are at an end.
