Eric then gave us a demonstration of speed-shooting.  As you’ll see from this video, he was able to fire twenty shots in one minute!

But let us turn to those ropes…in fact, those ropes on the ground represent a typical dungeon of the type that might be seen in a game of Dungeons and Dragons.  In a nutshell, the reenactment group would allow people to dress up in level 1 type armour and equipment and effectively "play" the dungeon so they could see how a "real" Knight or character from the game would suffer from the weight.

Here we see one volunteer dressing for the occasion.  Oh, and lest anyone say "that’s OK, I’ll take the chain mail – it’s lighter" – trust me, it’s not, the chain mail I picked up was a stupendous weight!
