I know this is horribley politically incorrect, but I do find it mildly amusing that the 1/9 Marines currently part of the 24 MEU in Haiti are known as "The Walking Dead"

Whod'a thunk we would be sending zombies TO Haiti.

No disrespect to the gallant Marines in 1/9 who are due for deployment to CenCom after Haiti (were actually embarking for CenCom when retasked) Heroes all, but I just could not resist the irony. Wonder what the locals think of their unit insignia.
