Su-27 as low as possible

This is probably not a take off photo but it is too good not to post it. This pilot must have a pair of brass ones to do this. Using an altimeter here is impossible so if the pilot takes his eyes off the horizon for even a fraction of a second it will be bye, bye birdie. I am sure a photo like this must have been posted on other sites but here it is again for those who never saw this photo. I got it from http://militaryhistoryofthe20thcentury.blogspot.com/ Can you imagine seeing this in your rear view mirror.

I was too young to remember, but my Dad was stationed at March once upon a stone age. After getting blown up in Korea he decided the Air Force was a safer bet!
