It'll be interesting to see their tactics. Are they going to surround the valley and get rid of all of them or just start at one end and let the rats flee through open doors at the other end?

I think it will be a success. Once we break the Taliban resistance here, they'll be completely stomped out. That is, if the Afghan government can step up to keep them out.

The one thing I noticed right off was only 650 Afghan were taking part. You would think they could of came up with a few more.

Heh, one trick I would love to see; the Afghans on our side dressed up like Civvies, just like the Taliban do. And then, when the Talis come running down the street to get away from the Marines, the Afghans shuck the robes % whip of SMGs smiling "Game over, boys."
That would make my day.

You know, that might be a good idea. At first I thought maybe they'd be charged with war crimes knowing the UN and all but then I realized, they're Muslims, so the same rules wouldn't apply. Hell, might as well even arm them with WP and let them have at it.  |

I believe one thing the USA has learned is not to take prisoners to send to Gitmo. So, what would be done to them? Summarily execute them? Turn them over to Afghanistan? I know, following the actions of the present Obama administration send them to the Caribean!
