America's Army 3
I am looking for a FPS game in that you’re fighting multi-player battles against other humans. I have COD 5 and like it but am looking for something modern.
I don’t want to register on the America’s Army site unless I buy it.
Any input would be appreciated.

I have been playing a little of AA3 in a internet cafe and it's alright but the multi player system is terrible you find sometimes you go to join a game and you get logged out and forced to sign back in again not very user friendly on that part
the other bit I don't like is when you kill somebody lets say from a distance it doesn't come up saying you killed the eg digger89 killed outbackbob that would really be nice to see because u could be taking pot shots at a body and you would never know.
Also the aiming system I am not to fond of specialy when you are just using a cross hair and not a scope seems very inaccurat but that my be realistic or something

I thought you would have to buy it on steam unless if you have cd key for the game |

AA3 is a free game by the US Army, it's free because it's a recruitment tool so they want everybody to be able to play it. |

Well, realism was never the point of AA3 and the fact that there are other features that hurt realism far more than the above (ie the compass) there is no reason for them not to have the death/kill messages.

I got AA3 off steam for free and then i found that it was not as good as AA2
