Walaja vs Cannae

Both battles were won by outstanding commanders using the double envelopment maneuver. Now, while there are more than these two double envelopments in history, these are the two that get the most fame.

Which one was more impressive?

In Cannae everything is masked by fancy words and the two "original" sources, who never been in that battle, but there it was the key how to defeat Rome...On they're place would you tell the truth? Actually acts speak louder than words...Just look at Zamma a bit latter...And yes: at Walaja it is shown again strait up who is the real killer:
