I have a soft spot for my old 71 Mustang Boss 302 (mine was gold-flecked dark green, no spoiler). The oil embargo and Colorado 'no-fault' insurance killed my baby, or at least my ability to feed it.
I replaced it with a real bad boy, a 69 Chevy Brookwood wagon! Every time you hit a bump (if it was raining or snowing), the electric rear window would drop down. Had to get out and manually yank it closed or breath exhaust.

The small journal 327 is a solid lifter engine which you could build to around 400 streetable HP.
If I could have anything, it would be the Chevy 302 found in the 67' Z-28. What a beast for a small block.

Never liked the 350 that much. I'm a Big Block man and Chevy 350's just seem too easy to fix up. Parts selection is almost a no-brainer now days.

Duster. Greatest acceleration of any car I could find. You might beat me on the long haul, but for the short run it can't be beat.

1968 Dodge Coronet. I had one of these for 2 years (at the end of it's life and the beginning of my driving career).
As most here can probably relate to, I didn't know what I had until it was gone. I had the 440 variant.
Not mine, but much like the one I had. Well, except for the lack of rust...

I thinks not. I do wonder which bright genius at Plymouth thought a black leatherette interior was a good thing for the south!

I guarantee it for the south you'll only forget to wear a shirt (say after leaving the pool or beach) ONCE on a hot day.
