About Patriot missile systems;

They work. I saw them shooting down SCUD missiles over Saudi with my own eyes, the flash was like orange lightning against the clouds. That was fun to watch!
The not-so-fun part was when they fire one over your head in the middle of the night. They go super-sonic the moment they leave the launcher- BOOM!

Iranian missiles are based on an advanced version of the Scud, btw.

It is self-evident. The RF armed forces could not assault and recapture Tshinvali using only small arms. The RF army bombed and shelled Tshinvali for days longer than Georgain troops.

No sober-minded persons will believe that the RF troops assaulted Tshinvali without shelling and bombing the town held by the enemy. So spare your efforts.

No sober-minded person will believe anything without proof.

Erkki can provide more detailed information on all the arms and armor used by the Russian army and how.

There are evident things that do not require any proof. But if you want proof, you should get familiar with the present-day Russian military doctrine concerning the capture of a town held by the enemy's troops.

Oh, Erkki is sure to have the most credible information from russiatoday or similar Russian media resources that screamed about genocide, inflated the number of Osetian civilian deaths in dozens of times and still continue to ascribe all the destructions and Osetian civilian deaths to the Georgian Army.

Just calling something self evident doesn't make it so, especially since it flies in the face of all the established facts.

The Georgians were in Tsinhavli for less than a day, all the while the Russian peacekeeping contingent did battle with them even before the extra Russian force arrived.

And you claim the Russians bombed Tsinval for days! You not only fail to provide proof but even reference.

Even according to Russian sources the Russian troops finally got control over Tshinvalli only by the evening of August 10 after two days of fighting to oust Georgians from the town.

It actually says that the Russians didn't enter Tsinval until the 10th, with there being a battle in the area on the 9th.

According to the Russian doctrine a town held by the enemy should be shelled and bombed before the land assualt and the assulting troops should be supported with atrillery fire and air forces as well.

You already said that, and I am sure even that is incorrect. Because everything is relative to the situation at hand.

And still no proof or reference to anything.

When is this Russian bombardment supposed to have taken place? "For days", on which days?

Please provide some reference, I want to see how Russians stretched time and space so THEIR big bombardemnt took place at exactly the same time as the Georgian's....

The RF's army almost constantly bombed and shelled different areas in Tshinvali from August 8 till the evening of August 10. It is useless to prove something to a person who absurdly claims that RF did not use artillery and airforces to oust Georgains from Tshinvalli and denies any destructions, Osetian civilian casualties inflicted by the Russain army in Tshinvali/the South Osetia during the hostilities.

According to WHAT??? Where does it say this??? Provide at least even a Georgian website (who would say anything) to back this up!

The Georgians shelled Tshinvali from the night of Aug 7, to the 10th, with some reports of re-newed shelling on the morning of the 11th after their forces withdrew.

What you are saying just doesn't make sense.

Sorry, but -

...again, why do you keep doing this to yourself?
