How would an Russian ABM system in Mexico affect the US? If the US launched a strike on Russia the ABM from Mexico would have no effect even if Russia had a million Interceptor in Mexico they cannot catch the US ICBM that are all in Montana, North DaKota and Wyoming.

In the same way the if Russia launches their ICBM at the US the ABM in Poland will NEVER be able to catch the Russian missiles

The US would have a good laugh about all the wasted money.Not that Russia would ever have the loonie idea of putting midcourse interceptors in Cuba. |

Why would the US care? A system in Mexico would have ZERO effect on US nuclear arsenal.
If anything since it provides job for mexicans so more would stay south of the border the US would likely be happy.

As would the return of Osetia to Georgia have on the Russian nuclear arsenal.

No it is placed on the flight path from the middle east which is why it has ZERO effect on Russia.
