Baker's Dozen of Sports
OK, I admit I love this Baker's Dozen format.
Since Brett Favre just announced his retirement, let's start with favorite Quarterbacks.
Favorite Quarterbacks
1. Johnny Unitas

Joe Montana was sooooo cool, has to be right up there.
My favorites though were Bert Jones and Dan Marino .

2. Joe Montana
3. Brett Farve
4. Even though I have always absolutely despised the Oakland Raiders, it's hard not to love a guy like Ken "Snake" Stabler, a hard-partying lefty who succeeded in spite of not have a lot of physical tools.

Speaking of hard partiers............. 6. Bobby Lane
One of the early raps against Bradshaw in Pittsburgh was that he didn't go out and carouse with the fans until all hours like Bobby did.

There are many more to get to before Flutie would make the list .
For college maybe, not the pros. Elway, Bradshaw, Favre, Kelly, even Brady and Manning.

Well, rather than whine 'bout it, add them to the list! (and it's not best, it's favorites -- you have yours and I have mine )

I would go for Romo. I may despise the Cowboys with all my living soul, but you have to admit, he is an outstanding young QB.

Well, I wasn't whining... so rather than be a jerk about it, just mention the
'favorite' part.

8. Joe Namath I got to watch him play high school ball, Beaver Falls, PA, as well as following his career in college and the pros. He was most definitely a man among boys.
Cost me $5 on Superbowl III. Thats when $5 was real money to a young buck too!

As a kid I used to be addicted to NFL (I refuse to call a game where only two of about 50 squad members actually kick the pig skin football). I was a BIG Broncos fan but even then I would have to say my favourite QB was not Elway but
9. Warren Moon.
Incidently, can anyone tell me what year the Raiders won the superbowl, the one with that run by Marcus Allen? Was the first year one I saw.
EDIT: can't count

Personal favorite and the joke was when he scrambled you could time him with a calender.
10. Bernie Kosar
Note awkward sidearm delivery.
