Done. I've placed it under the Wars and Warfare category for now, it's named "Spy Wars" to tie-up with the regular series in Armchair Magazine itself.
Oh my. Sorry but this is what I wanted to avoid, a Cold War spy story place.

What I wanted is decision making in a military context, (wrong) troop placements, concrete attack predictions (or lack thereof), making the enemy build bunkers in the wrong place, that kind of thing.

In sorry, but a "Spy Wars" label just attracts the wrong crowd. It implies HUMINT exclusively, with a mix of bugs and hidden cameras in London apartments, and it is 100% James Bond and cold war.

Yeah, the forum so far turned out even worse than I thought.

I really think if this is going to work there need to be separate forum for military intelligence, reconnaissance and operational decision making, separate from the spy business, as in skies in civilian environments.

Perhaps.........

A Suggestion Box?

I'm new here, so I don't know the answer to this question, but are the Moderators in this forum "Open-Minded"?

I have found in other forums that they lack Open-Minded Moderators.

Perhaps an edit button for when you make a mistake in the title box and you wish you could go back and change it, so you don't look so stupid when people see and read the mistake you made?

Perhaps a title such as Deception operations or similar would be more in context. I know what you mean about Spy Wars.

Could you post a link onto an example?

Footnotes

[1]
Maybe it was me?
It would not be the first time I was hacked.
Aside from the regular l33ts,

the evil Doctor Sinister and his officers plot their "black ops" to take over the world.
CV is now a Sinc Duke of Llano!

[2]
Doctor Sinister already conquered online games in a previous episode while still in Cheyenne Mountain,
so his request for software to see through barriers in online games is redundant, General Menace.

Would you consider bringing back the International Food and Drink sticky thread run by Cap Teancum and myself?
Or expand it into a forum?
I would be proud to run it again, with my able assistant, Cap Teancum.
If we do, can I be called moderator?

I suggested such a thing myself in the "is competition bbq a sport?" thread.

I like this idea very much.

In fact, this idea is better than the food and drink thread.

I think a food and drink topic would be awesome. I know I have recipes of my own I'd like to share, likely there are others here who feel the same.

In the famous words of John Belushi in "Animal House"...
