Vietnam War map

Hello everyone,

I just found this site and am glad I did! I am wondering if anyone can help me. I am looking for a detailed map of the Vietnam war. Included in this would be the LZ's, Firebases, Battle locations, Hills, village names, etc. I have searched the internet endlessly and have not found such a map. My three cousins were in Vietnam and my neighbor was KIA right before Tet near Quang Tri. Thank you in advance for your help.

You will have a tough time getting ALL that you want from MAPS.

However, I use the following maps because they provide me with the
military coordinate system that was used during my tour. If you have grid coord such as XT 800 400 you can find the location using these maps.

First here:
http://www.nexus.net/~911gfx/SVNmap.html

Then here:
http://www.nexus.net/~911gfx/nc4807.html

Then Click on Saigon area OR any other area to disclose additional map and/or links to additional maps:

EXAMPLE for my use:

Phuoc Vinh XT 960 495
Lai Khe XT 770 380
An Loi XT 840 300
An My XT 840 185
Map Grids:North West corner XT 700 600 to North East corner XT 999 600
South West corner XT 650 200 to South East corner XT 999 200

http://www.nexus.net/~911gfx/vietnam.../nc48_04e.html

From above type of map I then extract a portion to plot where I was at a particular time:

Steve,

You won't find a map that shows all the firebases and LZs of the Vietnam War, try the links page here on this forum for the best map sites on the internet:

You might also be interested in purchasing this book, it lists all the military places of significance of the Vietnam conflict:
