This is the round fired from the artillery...or soem would call it a gun. What is the round, and the gun needed?

I saw this weapon on a TV show on the History Channel.

I think it's called the Davy Crockett. IIRC it shot a nuclear tipped W54 (M-388 round), and was shot from a M28 or M29, the latter used for longer range.

Argh.... I knew that one... They have one at Ft. Sill (de-milled) on display... Well - I guess that's what I get for not checking back in time... but good eye!!!

Heres something I found in front of a veterans club in central Indiana. If you can ID it please give a source as I'd like to read up on it.

Hint: the data plate places it post year 1900.
