I'm only beginning to scratch the surface of the LIFE archives about Vietnam .
The following pictures are from a series called 'A Shau Valley' by Co Rentmeester. There are no caption unfortunately but the picture of Major General John Tolson
suggest that it was taken during Operation DELAWARE/LAM SON 216 in May 1968:

These pictures were taken by Howard Sochurek in Dien Bien PHu during Operation CASTOR and after, November December 1953.

This awesome series by Co Rentmeester has more than 200 pictures and is titled "The Cavalry Moves Out In Vietnam".
There are no captions but I believe the unit depicted in the 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment from the vehicle markings:

No dates or other indications but the pictures with DePuy and Weyand suggests 1966:

This series by Co Rentmeester is enigmatically called "DMZ Of The Air".
It was probably taken during Operation PRAIRIE in 1966. Brigadier General Lowell E. English was the Assistant Division Commander of the 3d Mar Div.

Major General John J. Tolson III, CO 1st Cavalry Division and Colonel Joseph C. McDonough, CO of the 1st Brigade, are briefing Lieutenant General William B. Rosson, commander of MACV Forward.

This series by Burrows shows the only USMC ground operation ever conducted in the Mekong Delta,
an amphibious assault in Kien Hoa Province by the Special Landing Force and BLT 1/9 in January 1967 and called DECKHOUSE V.

Another series by Burrows, this time showing grunts from the 2d Battalion, 14th Infantry, 25th Infantry Division
on operation in the Mekong Delta. My guess is Operation LANIKAI IV in early 1967.

These pictures by Larry Burrows were taken at the begining of Operation LAM SON 719, the incursion in Laos.
They are probably among the last he ever took before he died in that helicopter crash on February 10, 1971.

Missed this one from the Westmoreland series, I really like it, Westy pausing among the troops. There's no caption but a lot of soldiers
have what looks like the crest of the 27th Infantry 'Wolfhounds' on their caps, of which the 1st and 2d Battalions served with the
25th Infantry Division in Vietnam:
