Great great photos guys!
I have over 200 photos from when my father was stationed at Ubon in Thailand from '70-'71. If there's any interest in seeing some in-theater photos from the USAF in Thailand I'd be happy to share some.

Thanks, Boonie.
Here's a few. I'll post more as time goes on.

Village outside base perimeter. (January 1971)

Possibly the world's smallest Howard Johnson's! I'm not sure if this was taken on-base or off, but I've always found this photo amusing. (January 1971)

Downtown Ubon (March 1971)

8th TFW HQ (March 1971)

Munitions Pre-Load. BLU 27-B Napalm canisters and M36 Incendiary bombs. (March 1971)

My father and those beautiful AC-130 40mm Bofors. (July 1971)

My father and a couple of other airmen taking a moment in the rear of an AC-130. I love this shot - it's currently my wallpaper on my laptop. (July 1971)

Another of my father and an AC-130 (July 1971)

...and another. (July 1971)
More to come.

I and many others owe our lives to the actions of the ac-130 and her crews. To her and her crews -

Good picture of Southvietnamese soldiers from the 4th Battalion,
2nd ARVN Regiment trying to catch some sleep before being
combat-assaulted into Laos during Operation LAM SON 719. the photo
was taken by an australian advisor to the 2nd Regiment:

Great photo, Boonie.
My father assisted in the upload of munitions to aircraft that supported these troops.

Guys (and Gals),
I'm looking for any good color pictures taken during the battle of Hamburger Hill (Operation APACHE SNOW, 10-20 May 1969). If you know of any please let me know
