..me? I'm just and old....
..the term "curmudgeon" is a subset of the term "old grump" , which is, in turn , a subset of the term "codger" . Coothood is attained only after long years of study and rising through the ranks of Duffer, Hacker, Cadger/Buzzard, Codger, And then, Coot. The term "Old Coot" is reserved for those of advanced training in loss of hair, teeth, eyesight, reality and continence. There are side-bars to all these levels of attainment depending on the relative outlook of the bearer. The terms (usually preceded by the modifier "old") can include, bastard, derelict, a$$hole, di(khead, Pri(k, snot and depending on the circumstances "old Fokker", amond many others.

Most everywhere -- I'm Grumpy - disagreeable - Older than dirt - and so on -- the only things that don't apply is - I still have all my hair -- no tooth loss and incontinence is not a problem.
"Reality" seems to be an issue though from time to time
