Okay, lets look over the clues. Obviously an Italian Fighter design. There is a German Daimler Benz DB 605A engine. There are machineguns in the wings. There are no glass panels behind the canopy restricting rear vision. There is a "dimple" behind the pilots head in the plane. These eliminate the Fiat G. 55 Centauro and Macchi MC. 202 Folgore. My guess is the Macchi MC. 205 Veltro. The wing guns do look small for 20 mm cannon though. The MC. 202 did have 30 calibers in the wing, but behind the pilots head does not match.
