Hi folks! My connections with history are rather direct, being born in ex-Yugoslavia (we had couple wars back in 90s). Recently, I prefer reading to being involved

Welcome aboard, Serb - hope things are going better down there now. I spent some time there in '94 and '95. Enjoyed the sales market in Belgrade - and the Danube!

As a person with an interest with RTS computer games and studying history, I would consider myself an armchair general; and for that, I'm here to say hello.

I found out about this place by someone calling me an "armchair general" some time ago, typed the term I typed in the search bar, and here I am...

George Morris of ww2thebigone.com

I'm George Morris, a newspaper writer in Louisiana who has created a blog that recounts personal narratives of military personnel (and some European civilians) who experienced the war. I hope you will enjoy my contributions as much as I'm enjoying yours.

Thanks! You guessed right, both the nation and the town I'm living in. 90s were wild, wild west, but Belgrade was couple hundred miles away from the frontline.

Of course, it's all much better now. We ran out of ammunition

My name is Ryan and I am 36 years of age. I live in Southern California and spend way to much time in the library...

In the past few years I have been working on a couple WW2 books, mostly image based.

I look forward to learning from the incredible amount of knowledge on the forums.
