Mashinky

I just received an email advising me: "Mashinky is now available in Early Access on Steam"

Mashinky's Steam Store page states: "Mashinky is a transport strategy game about trains. The goal is to create your own transport empire on a procedurally generated map. Itís a unique blend of realistic graphics combined with an isometric construction mode and board game-like rules."

I rarely spring for an Early Access title, especially one selling for full price, but I need something to scratch my itch for a railroad game--at least until Railway Empire is released next year.

I bought Mashinky yesterday, it's not bad and is a lot like Railroad Tycoon 3 so in that sense it doesn't blow my socks off because its got a "seen it all before" feel about it.
Great little talk-through tutorial though, I'd built my first line and got it bringing in revenue within 10 minutes..

PS- My main gripe with Mashinky at the moment is that the 3D graphics aren't so hot. The trains themselves and the nearby terrain, trees and buildings around them look fine, but background stuff looks very blurry, maybe I need to find a proper graphic/resolution setting, I don't know.
