Too vague a question - answer depends on how many, with what resources and what their motivations were. Other factors might include whether they are from an environment similar to earth or perhaps have to do most of their support from orbit

According to Larry Niven they came and filmed (or whatever Aliens use) the last stages of WW2. This proved a tremendous hit amongst the denizens of their systems who hadn't had a war for generations, Hiroshima and Nagasaki being especially popular, and have been hanging around ever since waiting to film the next big one. The limited wars that have been fought in the mean time have been much less popular at the box office and Vietnam was a real turkey. They can't understand why we haven't had a nuclear war yet and have pent so much on the programme that the studio heads and so forth are being ordered back to the home system to be broken up into spare parts for transplant to recoup at least a token of the investors losses.

Depends on what kind of Aliens you're talking about.

A Type A alien, like in Cloverfield, nobody "wins." Everybody fights the monster.
A Type B alien, like in Invasion of the Body Snatchers, or The Thing everybody loses because the aliens take over and have a different agenda.
A Type C alien, like the one in Alien or, Predator isn't going to take sides. It (they) will be equal opportunity killers.
A Type D alien like in The Day The Earth Stood Still has an agenda and we're not going to live to the end of it.
A Type E alien like Zaphod Beeblebrox of Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy wouldn't care because he's too busy partying.
Type F aliens like on People of Earth would simply study the situation and maybe interfere in unexpected ways.
Type G aliens like those that presumably come here in UFO's never get involved at all. All you get are "Foo Fighters."

Well, I could go on. In almost all situations neither the Axis or Allies benefits from the appearance of aliens. Even if aliens showed up and "joined" the Axis, there's no guarantee that they would be helpful. In fact, most scenarios from science fiction suggest if the aliens did join the Axis it would only be to win the war against the Allies and then they'd turn on the Axis and enslave or incinerate the Axis too.
That assumes the aliens are actually sort of vicious. If they're just here for their amusement, then we're still likely screwed whatever they do...

Zaphod would just have sold the right of way through earth to an interstellar pipeline company, had a couple of pan galactic gargle blasters before leaving for a party at Eccentrica Gallumbits, the triple-breasted whor e of Eroticon 6 before the wrecking crew arrives

Any species that can travel interstellar wins, their tech is simply too advanced...

Hitler, the Axis, the Allies merely a resource/infestation.

.
Not necessarily
Imagine a exploration crew of three. Not a warship. They probably have the power in their drive to destroy the planet but not to assist one side to victory. Their tech is too advanced to be transferable.

Minerals and metals can be found many places easier to access. The "resources" here are biological and many of export value result of the Human presence.

Consideration of aspects of the Thule and Vril metaphysical foundations of Nazi ideology would suggest that they were seeking to serve such and it didn't work out so well.

No by conditions
  • Are they effective in our gravity? They may have evolved under a lower gravity and find living on our surface difficult. Imagine a being evolved on a Mars sized planet trying to cope with Earth's gravity (and air pressure etc)
  • Can they breath our air? Very tiresome having to stay suited up all the time. Even coming from a planet with a higher CO2 content might be a problem as CO2 content helps trigger the breathing reflex in most animals
  • What levels of solar radiation are they used to? Will they need lots of shielding?
  • What are their vision needs? Beings evolved on a planet of a red dwarf or a red giant will have eyes evolved for long wavelengths and may not be able to see very well on Earth as may those evolved on one orbiting a small hot white star with a mainly UV output also have problems
One could go on (isn't amazing how the Enterprise's crew only ever have to beam down to planets with Earth like gravity, with compatible atmospheres (and temperatures) orbiting stars that have exactly the same light output as the sun?). But its quite possible that these aliens might have to conduct their business from the comfort of their ship as it orbits which would severely limit their effectiveness.
