Afghan War, " The Battle of Roberts Ridge"

Hello friends, ( if I even have any), I just finished reading the Malcolm MacPherson's brilliant book, " Roberts Ridge", the battle of Takur Ghar Mountain in Eastern Afghanistan, early in the war. Anyone who served in battles, would respect those men involved, compares to anything in history, Khe Shan, Bulge, Peleliu, etc... guys doing all they could for their pals next to them. On youtube, you can see videos of this, and love that fact. Even gives credit to the enemy, fighting in sub freezing temps, w/ barely any footware, reminds me of Chineese troops facing the Marines in Chosin in Korea, in sneakers.
A few other great reads I read recently, just out in '16:
" Heart of Hell"., the navy boats protecting the Navy frogmen 2 days before the Iwo Jima invasion, by Mitch Weiss
" Lucky 666", amazing story of a Flying Fortress Bomber on a suicide mission to take pictures of Bougenville prior to Marines invasion, Medal of Honor to pilot, Zeamer. This also on youtube.
