Dracoco has a little shameless behaviour in the past [-1 to -99]
Alternate History: Myriad Trojan Horses Strike on Sunday, 7 May, 1939.

Background: In the early & mid 1930s Germany helped China to expand its railroad system, develop a military industry & improve the army’s training, tactics, etc, Rogue IJA officers ruined all that when they invaded China pointlessly in 1937 (disobeying their government & starting a war which resulted in millions of casualties & weakened both countries considerably). Tiny Japan could no more expect to be able to defeat & control effectively huge China alone, than small Germany could expect to defeat & control effectively Europe & the immense USSR alone. Especially since despite having a small industry, Japan wasted enormous resources in a huge navy, which would be of little use invading & controlling the huge interior of China.
Conversely, Japan & Poland were strong allies in the intelligence war against the USSR (deciphering codes, evaluating red army strength, tactics & disposition together, etc,), but Hitler ruined that when he smashed Poland.
Despite the Sino-Soviet non aggression pact signed in 1937 (which damaged Sino-German relations), the USSR invaded Xinjiang that year using artillery, mustard gas, planes, armor, etc, against Chiang’s forces. Chiang could not reinforce Xinjiang, because Japan attacked China & he needed Soviet planes, etc,.
Although U-boats & merchant raiders proved far less expensive & much more productive & useful for Germany than outrageously expensive battleships & cruisers in WW I, Hitler wasted huge, desperately needed resources building Bismarck, Tirpitz, Scharnhorst, Gneisenau, an aircraft carrier which was never finished, etc,. So Germany started the war with a ridiculous 57 U-boats, many of them outdated &/or unfit for ocean service, no merchant cruisers, a ridiculous 20 destroyers & a huge Bismark & Tirpitz under construction (over a year from entering service). Moreover, German torpedoes often failed during the first year. Had Germany bought, a license to build excellent Japanese torpedoes & not even designed the largest warships, but instead started the war with 100 each torpedo boats & modern, ocean going U-boats, 16 merchant raiders & 60 destroyers & used them without restrictions & to invade Britain from the outset of WW II, it would have been much more successful. Especially if Italy & Japan had also joined the fight from the outset, instead of 1 & 2 years later respectively.
In the 1930s France had a long series of weak governments & government crises. The Communists & Socialists gained considerable power. The army had extremely incompetent leaders, who induced the government to waste fortunes building the Maginot line & a huge navy (useless against the Wehrmacht) & to invest little in warplanes (their only hope against Germany). Although Britain, Poland & France were allies & Britain built much better planes & had RADAR & Poland & France had large numbers of excellent pilots in 1939, Britain did not provide planes or Radar to either France or Poland. RAF did not send any piloted planes to Poland. Britain only sent a few of its worst fighters to France when Poland was practically beaten & they were flown by the scarce British pilots & proved extremely ineffective in small numbers & without RADAR in France against thousands of German planes.
Much of Hitler’s ideology and policies were provided by Karl Haushofer, a brilliant WW I officer who visited Japan and was very impressed by bushido (the samurai code) and the blind obedience to the emperor. Haushofer would use this knowledge to cultivate personal loyalty to Hitler in Germany and to inspire the creation of the SS (modern Samurai). Haushofer realized that there was no Europe and Asia, but a single massive continent, Eurasia (actually it is Eurafricasia). He also concluded that the only way to counterbalance the Anglo Saxon maritime superpowers (the British Empire & the USA), was to form a Eurasian block which he thought could be controlled by Germany, the USSR, China and Japan. Germany sought to help Chiang Kai-shek to fight the communists. Unfortunately, when Japan invaded China in 1937, they ruined all the German effort to gain an invaluable ally and the axis lost the most powerful ally in the fight against the Soviets. With China and Japan invading the USSR from the east, the USSR would have collapsed rapidly.
Before WW II, Haushofer, Hitler and the Nazi party had succeeded in forming implicit alliances with Japan, China and Italy and a non aggression pact with the USSR, effectively countering the Anglo Saxon powers. The major failure of Nazi diplomacy was allowing the Japanese to ruin their effort to boost China’s power in order to use it as an ally against Stalin. By Japan’s stupidly attacking China in 1937, the axis lost 515 million invaluable Chinese allies and gained as many enemies.
Haushofer strongly objected to Hitler’s desire to attack the USSR before and up to the invasion in 1941, because he knew that Germany alone or eventhe weak axis fromed by Germany, Italy & Japan (engaged in war with huge & populous China) simply could not defeat both the Anglo Saxons and the Soviets, without China’s help and that Germany desperately needed the raw materials & armed forces from the USSR. But Hitler’s only defeats had been the loss of his navy in Norway, Dunkirk (in which he gained the land, but allowed 330,000 enemy troops to escape) & the battle of Britain (in the air), so he felt invincible on land.
Haushofer was a geopolitics teacher at the University of Munich. He used his position to recruit many spies and agitators who were sent abroad. One of them provided the Japanese valuable information about the American navy just before the attack on Pearl Harbor. Others agitated the German populations in Czechoslovakia, Poland, France, etc, before the invasions of these countries.
In 1939 Germany, the USSR, Japan, Poland, Italy, China, Romania, Belgium, Switzerland, Yugoslavia, Greece, Finland, Hungary, Thailand, etc, had powerful & expensive armed forces, which were idle or used to little advantage fighting each other. That year Japan & China lost over a combined million men fighting each other, Japan & the USSR clashed in Mongolia (over 17,000 Japanese casualties & over 27,000 Soviet casualties), Germany dissolved the well equipped & trained Czech army, Germany & the USSR wiped out the excellent Polish armed forces & intelligentsia, the expensive German army was idle the rest of the year (it could have at least invaded extremely weak Holland, Denmark & Luxemburg that year) & the USSR & Finland sustained hundreds of thousands of casualties fighting each other this year & in the 1st months of 1940. Had Hitler listened to & used Haushofer to help him & Ribbentrop to forge a mighty Eurasian axis (including Poland, Romania, the USSR, China, etc,), he would certainly have been much more successful defeating the allies.
Although Britain has 48 million people, France has 42 million & Poland has 35 million people in 1939, the British army is much smaller & weaker & it has much inferior leaders & fighting spirit than the Polish army & ridiculously weak compared to the French army. The French air force is slightly better than the Polish air force, but much weaker than the LW. The Soviet army & airforce are huge, but extremely poorly led & have lousy cummunications.
In 1939 Germany wasted the opportunity to invade Lithuania, before invading Poland (Germany was supposed to invade Lithuania, according to the original secret protocol of the Ribbentrop-Molotov pact signed on 23 August, 1939, which was modified only in late September to include Lithuania in the Soviet sphere). Germany could have easily invaded Lithuania on 25 August, 1939 (when the WM was idle before invading Poland), which would have provided an invaluable staging area to invade Poland & for Barbarossa (supply dumps, air bases, artillery, tanks, troops, etc, much closer to Minsk, Leningrad, Kronstadt, Rzhev, Smolensk & Moscow). German troops from Lithuania could have trapped large Soviet forces in Poland in the initial stage of Barbarossa & trapped even more Soviets in Minsk, Smolensk, etc,
The Italian & Japanese navies were mostly idle that year (allowing the allied merchant fleet, the French navy & the RN to survive & concentrate exclusively on the small KM) & most importantly, Hitler & Stalin wasted the invaluable surprise of starting a world war invading only Poland & Finland that year, without attacking France, Britain or the US. Therefore, Hitler & Stalin provided the allies with a very long time to mobilize, recruit, train & raise enormously the production of armament, RADAR & cargo & warships & to increase imports & even to break axis codes, develop better tactics (fighter tactics, antisubmarine warfare, skip bombing, etc,), better planes (P-51, P-38, Mosquito, P-47, B-26, B-29, Lancaster, Typhoon, Tempest, Hellcat, Corsair, TBF, etc,), ships, torpedoes, tanks & tank destroyers, self propelled guns, napalm and even the atomic bomb & time to occupy or reinforce Iceland, Malta, Iran, Syria, Egypt, Hawaii, the PI, Ceylon, Wake, Midway, Panama, Port Moresby, New Caledonia, Alaska, New Zealand, Australia, Milne Bay, etc,
When Germany invaded Poland, Denmark, Norway, Holland, Belgium & Greece most of the merchant & many of the warships from these countries joined Britain, providing it with a huge merchant fleet, which allowed it to survive the U-boat onslaught. In contrast, had a very strong axis been able to coax these nations into joining the axis, so would have their merchant fleets and navies, rendering the axis much stronger & Britain much weaker.
Polish experts cracked the enigma machine for the allies, Polish refugees fought in Narvik & France & the BoB, in 1940, Africa, Italy, France in 1944 & in Germany. Polish engineers developed the electronic metal (ground mine) detector, which was invaluable in el Alamein, etc, 3 Polish destroyers & 2 submarines fought in Norway & the destroyers escorted ships in the Atlantic. Polish sailors crewed a British cruisers, merchant ships, etc, In contrast, had Germany induced Poland to join the axis, its 4 destroyers & its submarines would have boosted considerably 3 dozen, modern, sea going U-boats & 20 German destroyers available in 1939. The Polish merchant fleet & 800 Polish tanks, 400 warplanes, 4,000 cannon & 39 divisions would have proven invaluable rapidly invading Britain & France in 1939. Most importantly, The well lead Polish forces would have been invaluable eventually invading & governing Lithuania, Latvia, Belorussia & part of Ukraine. Letting Poland administer these lands & people makes a lot more sense than destroying Poland & planning to kill all the Slavs in the already sparsly populated USSR.
Like Hitler, Mussolini wasted the invaluable surprise of entering the war. He did it by invading already defeated France, while he lost ¼ of his merchant fleet in allied ports (he neglected to inform them that he was going to declare war) & was bombed by the British & lost a submarine to the French on the first days of the war. Interestingly Mussolini was the only axis leader who did not gain any valuable territory after he entered the war & soon lost his armed forces & colonies. In contrast, Japan gained a huge territory & Thailand as an ally with multiple attacks on the first days of the war with Britain, Holland & the US, using surprise to great advantage. However, Japan failed to take vital Hawaii & Ceylon & always wasted a huge army in China for no advantage, which ground down his army. Although the IJN was huge, Yamamoto always managed to disperse it in such a way that the weaker USN in 1942 rapidly destroyed it piecemeal in the Coral Sea, Midway, Santa Cruz, Guadalcanal, etc, Had Japan withdrawn from China in early 1939, induced the latter to join the axis & sent all its carriers, surface fleet & several divisions to invade only weak, unsuspecting British Borneo, Hawaii, Panama & Ceylon on 1 Sept, 1939, while China invaded Burma & Indochina, the axis would have certainly dealt a fatal blow to Britain & the US. Taking Hawaii & Ceylon at the beginning of the war would have rendered the PI, DEI, New Guinea, Australia, New Zealand, Samoa, Guam, Wake, etc, untenable & would have threatened Panama & the west coast.
Hitler did not coordinate with Stalin to invade Poland simultaneously nor did he inform the Poles, French, British, Canadians, etc, of the fact that the USSR was also going to attack Poland, so that fighting Germany would be futile. Had the Poles known before the invasion that they would have to fight both powers, they would certainly not have sacrificed so many troops & civilians in a hopeless defensive war. Similarly, had France, Britain, Canada, etc, known that the USSR was also going to attack Poland, they would have seen no point in declaring war against both giants, which they could not hope to defeat.
Poland defended itself only because it expected to be attacked only by Germany & assisted by 50 French divisions invading Germany (as specified in a pact).
Germany did not secure its flank by invading weak Denmark before invading Poland. A Fatal mistake that Britain & France did not exploit. The mighty RN & French navy could have easily invaded extremely weak Denmark while the Wehrmacht was busy in Poland & while the French army advanced into Germany through the French border (there were 12 German divisions facing 80 French divisions). From Denmark British bombers could have attacked the KM in Kiel & Danzig, bombed Hamburg, East Prussia, the RR system feeding the war in Poland, etc, the RN could have entered the Baltic with fighter cover from Denmark & the British army could have advanced from Denmark with naval artillery & air support along the German Atlantic & Baltic coasts. Controlling the Baltic would have allowed the allies to recapture Danzig & Gdinia & reinforce & supply Poland. It made a lot more sense to send a British expeditionary force to Denmark to start fighting Germany immediately, than to send it to France, to remain idle together with the huge French army for months in the phoney war.
The German invasion of Poland exposed France, Belgium, Holland & Britain & the US to the advantages of using concentrated armor with heavy, accurate air support (dive bombing) for fast, devastating deep penetrations, 8 months before the invasion of Luxemburg, Holland, Belgium & France. Luckily for Germany, these countries were not paying attention & had no dive bombers & few modern fighters & their tanks dispersed when Germany attacked.
Germany weakened Romania considerably by forcing it to yield much of Transilvania to tiny Hungary & by allowing Salin to invade Bukovina & Bessaravia. He then pushed weakended Romania to invade the USSR without a large number of German planes, tanks, etc, in its army, so it experienced extremely heavy losses in Odessa, the Crimea, Stalingrad, etc, It would have been much smarter to boost Romania, its industry & armed forces & to use it against the allies in 1939.
Germany also deployed paratroopers in Denmark & Norway & dive bombers to attack ships off Norway, before attacking France & the low countries.
Had France & Britain been exposed for the 1st time to these revolutionary tactics & equipment at home from the beginning of the war, they would have collapsed rapidly.
50,000 Polish servicemen escaped to France, where they joined the allies to oppose the German invasion in 1940. The British had plenty of time to deploy an expeditionary force in France during the phoney war. France also had plenty of time to deploy troops from its colonies to the homeland.
Instead of using his army continuously in 1939, 40 & 41 Hitler used his forces either in hectic spasms or not at all. Germany invaded Poland 2 weeks before the USSR did (bearing the brunt of the losses, spending millions on & running out of ammunition & securing war declarations from Britain, France, Canada, India, etc,). After defeating Poland, the WM & LW did nothing for months, until they invaded Denmark & Norway on the same day in April 1940 & then Luxemburg, Belgium, Holland & France simultaneously in May, 1940. Germany could have easily invaded Denmark, Luxemburg, Holland, Lithuania, Norway, Sweden & Belgium piecemeal before threatening Poland simultaneously with Stalin.
In May-June 1940 Hitler allowed the British to evacuate 330,000 troops from Dunkirk & then to capture or kill 130,000 Italians in Egypt & Libya & to occupy most of Libya, while he wasted thousands of aviators over Britain (BoB & Blitz) for no gain at all & while the WM was completely idle.
In 1941 Hitler sent an extremely strong force (33 divisions with strong air support) to defeat weak Yugoslavia & Greece in days (although these countries were useless to him), but he sent 2 ridiculous divisions with a few planes, trucks, cannon, etc, & inadequate supplies to invaluable Egypt, the gate to middle east oil & to invaluable allies (Turkey, Iran, Iraq, etc,). The Afrika Korps fought unproductively & with heavy losses for 2 years. In Hitler’s & Mussolini’s murky reasoning it made more sense to defend Germany’s southern flank by wiping out neutral Yugoslavia & Greece with 33 German & 22 Italian divisions & then occupy both countries with several divisions for years than it did to exclude the British from the Med & deal them a crippling blow by capturing Egypt in weeks with 4 each German & Italian, well equipped & supported divisions.
On 22 June, 1941 Hitler invaded the USSR (starting a 2 front war, which he knew was suicidal) with a ridiculous number of cannon, planes (fewer than when he invaded tiny France, since he had lost thousands in W Europe, Britain & the Med & production was very low) & weak, outdated tanks (mostly light tanks) spread over a huge front & with so few trucks that 80% of his troops advanced on foot (many over 1,000 km) & horses slowly hauled many guns (ensuring that they were useless many miles behind the rapidly advancing Panzer & motorized divisions) & much of the supplies. The slowly advancing horses & troops on foot consumed huge amounts of grain, meat, potatoes, water, etc, & did not contribute to the fight for weeks, during the short , crucial period of decent weather. From the 1st day of Barbarossa the WM fought continuously for years in the USSR.
It is incredible that Hitler expected to defeat the populous, well armed & huge USSR in a few months (before the winter), despite the fact that the bulk of his army was advancing at Napoleonic speed, while the small proportion of the WM & SS which were mechanized bore the brunt of the fighting, experiencing crippling losses & fatigue & wasted precious decent weather in long, unplanned detours ordered by Hitler.
Germany did not use the Baltic & Black Seas to transport supplies & reinforcements deep into the USSR (Leningrad, Nikolaev, Mariupol, etc,) & could not use the railroads in the critical period of good weather & rapid advance, because they had to be modified to German track gauge. Catastrophically, he overrode his generals & he didn’t use the brilliant Manstein to plan Barbarossa (using instead the incompetent Von Paulus & himself for that purpose) & during Barbarossa he repeatedly wasted invaluable weather & fighting time & wear of armored forces in long detours. He did not even coordinate well with his allies, so that Finland, Hungary & Romania attacked days after the Germans did, the Italians sent few men & too late, Spain provided only a division & months into the invasion & the Bulgarians & Japanese never did invade the USSR.
Germany also starved or killed by exposure millions of POWs, ensuring that a few months into the war Soviet troops would fight to the death, rather than surrender. Germany mistreated the Ukrainians, Lithuanians, Belorussians, etc, who had welcomed it as a liberator & killed millions of Jews, ensuring intense partisan activity.
When he invaded the USSR Hitler had large forces fighting partisans in Yugoslavia & the British in Africa & the Med & occupying France, Greece, the Low Countries, Denmark, Poland & Norway. He also wasted the army group north besieging Leningrad for years, instead of taking it during Barbarossa & then using those forces to advance on Moscow with supplies unloaded from ships in Leningrad.
He doomed Case Blue in 1942, by splitting a powerful force, which could have taken the Caucasus into two weak forces (one of them redirected to Stalingrad) which were trounced for no gains. Hitler made every possible mistake mentioned by Sun Tsu in the Art of War. .
While Germany, Britain, the USSR etc, are frantically producing war planes in 1938, US production is low & that year the US congress reduces appropriations for military plane production in 1939! Only after war breaks out in Europe, does the US up production. Fortunately for the US, it would not be forced into the war until late 1941 (after over 2 years of increased production & after better planes, carriers, tanks, etc, entered production).
In May 1939 the US army is smaller than Poland’s & much more poorly equipped (it has no modern tanks, little artillery, few planes, AA & AT guns, etc, it still uses the British WW I helmet, the worst helmet in the world at the time). The USN has about 110,000 enlisted men & Marines. The battleships of the Pacific fleet are based in San Diego (Roosevelt deployed them to Pearl Harbor in 1940), so PH is quite vulnerable & its fuel tank farms, submarine base, docks, dry docks, airbases, etc, would be invaluable for the axis to control the Pacific & attack the west coast. Alaska & the PI are even more vulnerable. USS Wasp has just been laid down, Hornet & South Dakota have not even been laid down. IJN carrier Hiryu is commissioned in July 1939, Zuikaku & Shokaku will not be commissioned till 1941. Kaga, Akagi, Soryo & Ryujo are in service. The Japanese have been using the massive, long range & high velocity Long Lance torpedo for years in their destroyers, cruisers & battleships but it is unknown to other countries. The Japanese have large numbers of G3M, which can launch excellent torpedoes (at a much higher speed & with a longer range than British Swordfish) to sink ships or bomb airfields in the PI (from Formosa). The IJN’s Kate torpedo bombers was twice as fast as the RN’s Swordfish. The IJN’s A5M fighter was much superior to the Gladiator biplane (the A5M was lighter, faster & more maneuverable & it had a much longer range) .
The RN knew before the war that it could not defeat alone a combined Japanese, Italian & German fleet simultaneously. The large number of submarines & surface ships & the few Japanese carriers would decimate British shipping, depriving Britain of the supplies & Commonwealth troops it needed to fight. When the Soviets became German allies during the invasion of Poland, the possibility of Soviet submarines, etc, also joining axis forces against Britain exacerbated the situation.
Britain & France faced only Germany between 1 Sept, 1939 & 20 June, 1940. However, France was defeated & Britain would have also lost without the massive shipping it received from Denmark, Norway, Holland, Greece, the US, etc, & without planes, aluminum, food, oil, explosives, steel, armament, etc, from the US, pilots from Czechoslovakia & Poland, etc, especially if Italy, Japan, etc, had fought from the 1st day of the war.
Surprisingly, the US had much worse torpedoes (submarine & aerial) than Britain, Japan, Germany or even Italy, Poland or Holland. The expensive Mark 14 submarine torpedo cost $ 10,000 & had all kinds of problems with its depth regulator, its magnetic detonator & even with the weak firing pin, that often bent and got stuck upon impact. Incredibly, the lousy Mark 14 was used still in late 1943, when the electric Mark 18 started to be used but also failed often. Over 2,000 faulty torpedoes (aerial, destroyer or submarine) allowed many Japanese ships to escape unharmed & frustrated many crews, who risked their lives only to see the torpedoes fail. Sometimes the torpedo returned to the submarine which fired it & sank the sub..
Incredibly, during the invaluable 1st weeks of the war with the US & Britain, Japan had hundreds of thousands of men fighting in China pointlessly & wasted a huge force invading unimportant locations : 90,000 troops just in useless Hong Kong, Burma & tiny Wake & Guam, all of which Japan could have easily invaded 2 or 3 months into the war. Had Japan used those men to invade instead invaluable, weak British Borneo (securing oil and invaluable bases with 5,000 men), Ceylon (40,000 men), Mauritius (3,000 men to control the Indian Ocean) & Kauai-Niihau.Molokai (10,000 men to prevent the US from reinforcing or evacuating Hawaii) on the 1st day of the war, the allies would have been crippled in the Pacific & Indian Oceans. Japan could have then easily reinforced these areas & invaded the other, isolated areas.
The Pearl Harbor attack involved only 352 underpowered, single engine planes (out of 6 carriers & many of those planes were fighters, which caused little destruction) & a ridiculous 40 torpedoes. It left damaged ships in shallow water (so few sailors died & most of the ships were repaired & served again). It did not sink a single carrier, cruiser, submarine or destroyer, all of which were far more useful than the slow battleships.
Had the Japanese occupied Kauai-Niihau-Molokai-Lahaina Road & IJN carriers, battleships, cruisers, destroyers, tankers, troops tansports, sea plane tenders & submarines remained in Hawaii for a few days sending several waves of planes (dropping over 120 torpedoes & thousands of bombs) & luring out any surviving warships, Lexington & Enterprise & the whole surface fleet would have been destroyed. Oahu would have been isolated & would have fallen after repeated waves of carrier planes & land-based, twin engine bombers, sustained bombardment & attacks by airborne & amphibious troops. It is incredible that after sailing several thousand miles from Japan & smashing the battleships, planes, etc, in PH with a single sortie per plane, the huge Japanese fleet (6 carriers plus battleships, cruisers, lots of submarines & destroyers, etc,) ran away at flank speed from no carriers or battleships in PH & at worst a few carriers & cruisers returning piecemeal, as if they had something to fear & nothing to win by finishing off the carriers, cruisers, planes, etc, & capturing at least some of the undefended islands. Given the utmost importance of the Pearl Harbor attack it is difficult to understand why Yamamoto did not lead the attack himself (instead of putting Japan’s future in Nagumo’s hands) & did not plan an invasion.
Ironically, Yamamoto would again entrust the carrier fleet attacking Midway to incompetent Nagumo, while he led the surface fleet hundreds of km from the invaluable carrier fleet. Yamamoto did plan the invasion of Midway, which was much better defended in June 1942 & infinitely less valuable than Kauai-Niihau-Molokai-Lahaina Road on 7 December, 1941 & although there were only 4 fleet carriers attacking Midway & 6 attacking PH (Shokaku was damaged in the Coral Sea & Yamamoto left Zuikako in Japan. Zuikaku was larger & much better than Hiryu & Soryu, which attacked Midway.
Moreover, in Midway the 4 carriers had incomplete plane complements because they had lost planes in Indonesia, Ceylon, etc,). Therefore, the carrier fleet which attacked PH by surprise on a Sunday, during peace time, smashed it & promptly ran away was much stronger than the one which attacked a prepared Midway full of bombers, fighters & AAA head on, 6 months into the war.

Dracoco has a little shameless behaviour in the past [-1 to -99]
Chapter I: Hitler’s Crucial Epiphanies.
Hitler realizes in an epiphany in 1934 that the German Kaiser wasted billions of marks, invaluable war industry capacity & tens of thousands of urgently needed men building, crewing & maintaining a large fleet of expensive battleships & cruisers which were hardly used in WW I, while inexpensive U-boats & merchant raiders nearly defeated Britain (although they started to be used in large numbers long after the invasion of France & the eastern front had already bogged down).
Accordingly, Hitler decides 1) Not to build any battleships or carriers (big, expensive targets for the RN) & to concentrate shipyard capacity on converting merchant raiders & building large numbers of identical submarines, torpedo boats, mine layers, landing craft & destroyers, so that he can start the war with at least 16 merchant raiders with an 18 cm gun, three each 15 cm guns, 9 cm & 37 mm (AA) guns, eight 20 mm cannon, 6 torpedo tubes for long lance torpedoes, 24 each submarine & long lance torpedoes, 2 small catapults, eight Sea Cubs (with floats instead of wheels) & 200 mines (the merchant raiders can supply munitions, food, planes, etc, to submarines, destroyers, torpedo boats & land forces in Britain, Hawaii, the PI, etc,). 300 smaller cargo ships with a 9 cm & a 37 mm (AA) gun & 2 each 20 mm cannon & MG 34. 100 each U-boats & torpedo boats (with a 9 cm gun & a 20 mm cannon & MG 34. Each torpedo & U-boat operating near axis coasts is supported by a land based spotter plane) & 60 destroyers (with a 15 cm gun, three 13 cm guns, two each 9 cm & 37 mm (AA) guns, four each 20 mm guns & MG 34, 6 torpedo tubes, 12 long lance torpedoes, 50 depth charges, 3 search lights, a small catapult & two spotter planes with an MG 34) & ensuring high continued production capacity for these vessels from the first day of the war, so that losses can be replaced.
. 2) To make sure that all the submarines, torpedo boats, planes, destroyers, merchant raiders, cruisers & battleships of his allies start the war fighting alongside the German planes & vessels. A strong KM & LW can destroy perhaps so many ships as the allies can build. However, large axis sea & air fleets can wipe out the allied ships all over the world much faster than the allies can replace the sunken ships. Most importantly by involving dozens of nations & attacking dozens of allied ports by surprise, the axis can capture a huge number of invaluable allied ships at hundreds of axis ports & dozens of invaded ports on the 1st hours of the war. This is much better than having to locate & sink ships at sea, wasting the ships & invaluable crews & cargo.
3) To invade England at the beginning of the war by concentrating planes, torpedo boats, mines, destroyers, etc, in the English Channel, where the expensive behemoths of the British & French Navies will be extremely vulnerable.
Not planning to build capital ships, Germany need not even enter negotiations for an Anglo-German naval treaty in 1935. Britain will not feel threatened if it doesn’t see German capital ships under construction (only destroyers & smaller vessels).
Hitler also realizes that the 2 Kaisers lost the great war because they did not coordinate well before beginning the war (Germany expected Austria to deal with the Russians & Austria expected Germany to do just that, so the Russians advanced rapidly into Germany & Austria, while Austria blundered in Serbia). The Kaisers also lost because they did not manage to get Italy (their ally) to attack France & Serbia with them. Moreover, they allowed Italy to join the allies. Similarly, the Kaisers only managed to get Turkey to attack Russia in the winter (losing much of its army to hypothermia & frostbite & to guns in forntal attacks against strong mountain positions), long after the invasion of France had bogged down Likewise, the Kaisers allowed the allies to induce Romania, Greece & Portugal to join them in the middle of the war & the US late in the war, while the Kaisers only managed to get Bulgaria to fight the allies when the war was already lost. Had Germany, Austria, Italy, Turkey & Bulgaria attacked Serbia, Russia & France on the first day of the war in a coordinated way, Britain & Romania would not have joined France, Serbia & Russia. Serbia would have collapsed in days under attack by A-H, Italy & Bulgaria. France & Russia would have collapsed in weeks.
Haushofer points out to Hitler that 1) Kaiser Wilhelm ruined decades of Bismarck’s work building up excellent Ruso-German & Anglo-German relations (had the large German army not fought against Russia, Serbia & France would have been rapidly defeated). 2) Kaiser Wilhelm II antagonized Britain by building a large fleet & then forced it into war by invading neutral Belgium. Without the British expeditionary force & the Belgian army, France would have collapsed in weeks (much faster than in the Franco-Prussian war). 3) The Kaisers failed to secure crucial alliances with Russian Finland, Poland & the Baltic peoples (all of whom despised the Russians), Romania (which wanted to expand into the Ukraine), Japan, Thailand (from which France & Britain had stolen territory) & China (which had been ruined by British opium) to attack Russia (which Japan had trounced a decade before, although at the time Russia was not at war in the west), Hong Kong, North Borneo, Burma & Malaya.& French Indochina & instead they allowed Japan, Romania, etc, to join the British, French & Russians against Germany & A-H. 4) Germany was extremely dumb in going to war against France & Russia, just because A-H had a quarrel with Serbia. A-H had a weak, poorly led army made up of multiple nationalities (Hungarians, Czechs, Poles, Croatians, Austrians, etc,), limited industry, natural resources & agriculture, even fewer vehicles & planes than Germany & was the worst choice for Germany’s only ally at the beginning of a huge war. Germany lost the war before it was started by its completely inadequate ally & 5) A-H & Germany wasted the invaluable surprise factor, by instead of coordinating multiple, well planned, simultaneous attacks on its enemies & striking in several places while declaring war, extending separate ultimatums which allowed some time for mobilization & better coordination among enemy forces than between those of the central powers.
Russia simply could not afford to send troops, armament, food, munitions, etc, to the far east, while it fought Germany & A-H in the west & Turkey & Bulgaria in the Caucasus. Likewise, Britain & France could not afford to send troops to their Asian colonies. Therefore, the 3 Asian nations would have helped Germany, weakened the allies & expanded considerably in the process.
Accordingly, Hitler decides to build an invincible coalition & to unleash it in a massive, simultaneous, surprise attack all over the world to defeat rapidly the British & French Empires & the US.
In order to ensure Italy’s participation from the first day of the war, Hitler decides to provide a highly mobile force to help Mussolini to rapidly invade weak & crucial Egypt & Tunisia, thus opening the war with big axis blows to the allies & access to midleeast oil & allies.
Hitler reads Sun Tsu & Clausewitz & about Attila, Bismarck, etc, in early 1936 & pays serious attention to Haushofer. He learns that using diplomatic & military leverage to gain invaluable allies is much more profitable than using raw power to destroy his neighbors’ armies & economies. He realizes in an epiphany that the economies, armed forces, foreign & intelligence services, industry, shipping, etc, of the USSR, Czechoslovakia, Poland, Belgium, China, Yugoslavia, Switzerland, Norway, Sweden, etc, are much more valuable if they join the axis without bloodshed, than if they are destroyed. For example, if the USSR can be enticed to join the axis in order to coax weak neutral nations to join the axis (using the millions of troops & thousands of tanks & planes of the axis as a threat), the combined forces would render the axis a formidable foe (the neutral nations can make up for the limited naval & shipping resources of Germany & the USSR). Similarly, if China can be coaxed to join the axis in order to avoid being attacked by the USSR while it fights Japan, its 500 million people would render the axis even stronger & allow the axis to invade Indochina, Burma & Malaya & Threaten India at the beginning of the war & if Japan does not have to fight China, it will be much more effective fighting the allies, especially if Chinese troops reinforce Japan in the PI, Hawaii, etc, Likewise, if Holland joins the axis or merges with Germany (together with Austria), huge shipping capacity, submarines, etc, & its border with Belgium will prove invaluable in inducing Belgium to join the axis & eventually the Dutch & Belgian armed forces would prove invaluable invading France & Britain & fighting the RN. Similarly, coaxing Switzerland to join the axis would allow the invasion of France south of the Maginot line & the well armed, trained & lead Swiss army would prove as invaluable as the Belgian army to defeat France. Finally, forcing the strong, well lead Polish forces to become an ally (instead of a foe) allows Germany to start the war by attacking ill prepared France & Britain by surprise & with a much stronger force.
Reasoning that the population of Germany (80 million) is not nearly enough to secure & settle either the huge US or USSR, rather than invading Poland, Hitler decides that after using Poland to defeat the allies, Germany will be better off letting Poland keep the Baltic nations, Belorussia & part of the Ukraine & the German Jews, so that all the Germans can settle in parts of the US & Russia. Resulting in much simpler borders & better land & population use. Similarly, rather than invading Czechoslovakia to incorporate its 3 million Germans to the Reich, it makes much more sense to use all the Czechs against the allies. Hitler realizes that Germany will benefit by offering inexpensive homesteads in occupied territories not only to German nationals, but also to millions of Aryan citizens from Switzerland, Belgium, etc, & from the defeated nations Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, France, Britain, the US, Australia, etc, in order to settle these areas much more efficiently & to boost the German population, productivity & purchasing power.
Hitler also learns from Sun Tsu that military intelligence, surprise, initiative, momentum & speed are everything, that his job is to direct policy & diplomacy & that he must choose his marshals, generals & admirals very carefully & let them make the strategic & tactical decisions & the planning in order to achieve his goals. He knows that the Soviet Union has more tanks, cannon & planes than the rest of the world put together & is rapidly increasing armament production & improving its quality, but Stalin eliminated thousands of his best marshals, generals, colonels, etc, In contrast, Germany, Poland, Romania, Finland, Belgium, Hungary, Japan, Romania, Switzerland, China, etc, have many excellent generals but limited armament & transportation. Coupling both produces an unbeatable force. He also knows that Stalin exerts considerable power on the Communists in France, Britain & the US & that a coalition of strong, contiguous dictatorships with large armies is far more effective than 3 democracies with divided governments, with Britain isolated from France & with France & Britain an extremely long distance from the US & Canada. Hitler remembers that a few dozen of his old Ju 52s transported thousands of Franco’s troops from Spanish Morocco to Andalusia in order to start the civil war & that the USSR flew a whole, fully equipped division a huge distance across the USSR on TB-3s in days in an exercise & decides to fly thousands of troops to beachheads in England, a few dozen km from the continent. If Hitler can get the small navies & the huge merchant fleets of the small neutral nations (Norway, Sweden, Greece, Belgium, Portugal, Finland, etc,) & of Poland, the USSR, etc, to join the axis, the axis could easily convert 94 merchant raiders (16 each German, Japanese, Italian & Soviet & 30 from the other nations) before the war starts & the axis fleet would include over 500 torpedo boats, 200 submarines, destroyers, etc, so that hundreds of allied ships can be captured or sunk in days & England & then US can be invaded.
Hitler’s economists informed him that given the poor infrastructure of the USSR & the fact that much of it would be destroyed during an invasion, establishing a productive economy there would require a huge investment for several years, draining & ruining the Reich’s economy. Hitler reasons that using the USSR, Japan, Italy, etc, to invade the rich, weak & smaller US makes a lot more sense than invading the huge, poor USSR defended by millions of men & tens of thousands of tanks & planes. Hitler also realizes that eventually invading & sharing the huge USSR with Poland, Romania, Czechoslovakia, Finland, Sweden, Belgium, Japan, Turkey, China, etc, would result in much fewer German casualties & better control & much more rapid development of the conquered territories with a much lower investment for Germany.
Hitler stops all propaganda, policies & speeches against foreign countries (especially against Czechoslovakia, Poland & the USSR) & the Jews in 1936 & establishes strong trade & relations between the armed forces of Germany & Czechoslovakia, Poland, the USSR, Romania, Hungary, Finland, Turkey, etc,
Germany does not sign the anti Commintern pact with Japan in 1936, in order to ensure good relations with the USSR & not to let the US know that Germany has a close partnership with Japan, until an 8 nation axis pact is signed. Hitler stops publication of Mein Kampf & publicly apologizes for having advocated the invasion of Poland & the USSR. Whose mighty armies deserve the utmost respect & whose people deserve admiration & friendship. Hitler even praises the rapid industrialization & modernization & the much improved living standards of Poland & the USSR & invites these countries to intensify trade & to sign alliances.
In an epiphany in early 1937, Hitler realizes that Holland is suffering intensely from the depression & its weak armed forces cannot defend the invaluable Dutch East Indies against the very strong Japanese navy & army. The ridiculously few Dutch in the huge DEI could not even put down a revolution by the 69 millions natives in dozens of islands, should Japan smuggle arms & munitions to them. Holland has been lucky so far that Japan has chosen to expand in Manchuria. The DEI is a major exporter of rubber, petroleum, cacao, coffee, tea, tobacco, copra, sugar, ginger, palm oil, nickel, hard woods, nut meg, etc, & a large producer of rice despite mostly manual agriculture & limited fertilizer use & primitive mining. The area, resources & population of Holland are ridiculous compared with those of the DEI, yet extremely few Dutchmen have migrated to the DEI & Holland is not willing to keep a strong army to defend the invaluable territory.
Therefore, strong armed forces to secure the DEI & mechanized agriculture & mining & large scale use of fertilizers would increase production considerably & the cheap labor can be invaluable for industry & vice versa, causing an unprecedented economic boom.
If the DEI or even British Borneo fell to Japan, their resources & location would help Japan considerably to defeat China (gaining more resources & staging areas) & to invade Indochina, Malaya, Ceylon, Mauritius, Australia & NZ, ruining the British Empire.
Austria is also suffering from the depression. Moreover, while Germany, Austria & especially Holland are over populated, the DEI is grossly under populated (it has huge Lebensraum) & it has abundant resources & a considerable native population whose productivivity & living standards are low, because the DEI has almost no industry (other than refineries), modern agriculture, infrastructure or tourism. On the other hand, Germany & especially East Prussia have plenty of people.
The combined area of Germany, Holland, Austria, Luxemburg & Denmark in 1936 (about 100 million people) is smaller than the area of the Island of Borneo, which has a few million people. Germany manages to convince Britain, Poland, the US, Austria, Holland, China & France that the best way to ensure economic prosperity, Lebensraum & peace for everybody is for Germany to sell isolated East Prussia & Danzig to Poland (greatly simplifying the Polish-German border, preventing any tension whatsoever between the two nations & increasing Poland’s agricultural & port capacity) & for Holland, Austria & Germany to merge, so that several million Germans (including those from East Prussia, Czechoslovakia, Poland, the Americas, France, Britain, etc, who want to do so) can migrate to the DEI & Dutch Guiana & the money from the sale of East Prussia be used to settle the immigrants & to develop infrastructure, agriculture, industry, health services, etc, in these territories.
If China were to send 1 million healthy young immigrants to the DEI & Dutch Guiana to expedite settlement & development, China would lower slightly its demographic density & hunger & after training, those immigrants would boost defenses against Japan. China will also benefit from oil & technical & military aid from the German East Indies.
The influx of immigrants & capital would ensure that the invaluable East Indies remain in European hands, instead of falling to Japan. Simultaneously, the population reduction in Germany & the resources from the DEI & Dutch Guiana would eliminate the need for war in Europe. The Autobahn & other public works & industrial programs would be extended to Austria, Holland, the East Indies & Guiana, reducing unemployment.
The US can finance the Polish purchase of East Prussia-Danzig & the development of industry, infrastructure, farming, tourism, etc, in the DEI with American machinery, etc, large part of the financing can be provided by selling on 4 year credit to Germany & Poland billions of dollars worth of consumer & industrial goods, ships, cars, trucks, planes, tractors, food, etc, in the process ameliorating the depression by activating US industry, agriculture, shipping, etc,
Poland & Germany (now including Austria & Holland & its colonies) will sell the American consumer goods for cash & use the industrial goods, etc, to create jobs. German & Polish demand for oil will increase considerably with the influx of vehicles, planes, tractors, ships, Generators, etc, from America & both countries will buy oil from Dutch companies (at attractive prices). The Dutch realize that merging with Germany in order to secure & rapidly develop their invaluable, large colonies & their homeland & activate the economy is a win-win proposition.
The US, Stalin, Poland, France & Britain are very impressed by Germany’s willingness to sell East Prussia-Danzig in order to gain Lebensraum in the DEI, maintain peace & improve relations with Poland. The USSR needs no longer to be a Pariah, but can approach Germany for a partnership.
Germany asks the US for 40 old 4-stacker destroyers, 6 old cruisers, 2 old battleships, old submarines Narwhal & Nautilus, the old seaplane tender Langley & munitions on long term credit to guarantee the safety of the GEI against Japan. With the promise that these vessels will never enter the Atlantic & that if Japan attacks the PI or the French or British colonies in Asia, these ships will fight the IJN (they are also guaranteeing the safety of allied colonies in Asia). Moreover, if the deal goes through, the USN & RN will have the right to use the naval bases, dry docks & airfields in the GEI & German Guiana for 10 years to refuel, resupply & repair ships & planes. The USN approves the deal, knowing that the small, outdated fleet presents little threat to the huge RN & USN, but it would be useful if it joined the allied navies against Japan (it is cheaper to let Germany maintain these old ships in the SW Pacific to deter Japan, than for the USN to maintain them in the PI or Hawaii),. On the other hand without this fleet, Japan can quickly & easily invade the GEI & gain invaluable oil wells, bases, etc, with almost no ship losses. The USN is glad to dump the old ships, releasing experienced crews & making room for the much better ships coming out of the shipyards.
German Polish relations improve enormously & Poland realizes that Germany can be an invaluable ally & trading partner, much more so than France or Britain.
The German people realize (with the help of massive, very persuasive propaganda) that sacrificing tiny East Prussia-Danzig in order to ensure peace & trade with Poland, gain Austria, Holland, huge Dutch colonies rich in resources & cheap labor & a massive influx of American products (including a small fleet to defend the GEI) & cheap East Indies oil is a brilliant move.
The Netherlands, Austria & the Reich merge on 25 May, 1937. The DEI, Dutch Guiana, etc, officially become the German East Indies (GEI), German Guiana, etc,
A few days after this merger, Germany persuades Denmark to also merge with Germany in order to expand its markets & secure massive public work programs (Autobahn, bridges, schools, port facilities, bases, etc,), large orders from its shipyards (10 each cargo ships, destroyers, submarines, mine sweepers, mine layers & landing ships) & contracts for their expansion & to build bases in Denmark & the Danish colonies & huge shipping contracts for immigrants to the GEI & German Guiana, goods from America to Germany & the GEI. Oil, coffee, rubber, etc, from the GEI, steel. coal, chemicals from Germany. Minerals from China (tungsten, zinc, etc,). Soy from Manchuria to GEI & Germany, etc, & to benefit from inexpensive American products (planes, motorcycles, cars, etc,) imported by Germany & from reduced price GEI oil, German steel, coal, aluminum, etc,
Denmark & Germany merge on 6 June, 1937. Germany now controls the Faroe Islands, Greenland & access to the Baltic.
Initially Japanese leaders are very upset because Germany apparently ruined their plan to invade the weak DEI within the decade. However, Haushofer soon convinces Japan that having a strong GEI can be invaluable to Japan, which can never hope to displace Britain, France & the US from the Pacific alone. The GEI and a very strong axis will help Japan enormously by enabling Japan can invade Portuguese East Timor, New Caledonia, the South Island of NZ & part of Indochina before the war in order to link up & cooperate with Germany. The GEI can providing oil, bases, air, army & naval support, etc, for Japan to eventually invade Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Mauritius & Ceylon from Sumatra, invade British Borneo & Palawan from German Borneo. Invade Port Moresby, Perth, Darwin, Cairns, Brisbane, Rabaul & Tasmania from Timor, Java, German New Guinea, etc, The GEI will also allow exchange of technology, materials, materiel, planes, tactics, etc, with Italy in IEA & China to greatly boost axis strength. German, Japanese, Polish, Romanian, Chinese, Soviet & Italian researchers, pilots, technicians, engineers, mathematicians, etc, can work together secretely in the GEI to develop & improve communications, dive bombing, RADAR gunnery & plane detection, magnetic mines, small arms, torpedoes, cannon, naval aviation, ship, plane & tank design & mass production, etc, decipher allied codes, develop axis codes, etc, develop & produce submarines, torpedoes, planes, etc, & train together there.
Germany convinces Luxemburg (only 300,000 people & at risk of being devastated in a Franco-German war) to merge with it, also by promising public works, contracts, purchase orders, access to German jobs, colonies, US goods, etc, They merge on 10 June, 1937.
American consumer goods are rapidly sold in Poland & the much expanded Germany. Part of the cash is used to make monthly payments to the US & the rest is used to activate research, industry, agriculture, public works, mining, etc, (with American machinery, etc,). Many farmers from East Prussia, etc, receive larger homesteads in the GEI & German Guiana than those they owned & American tractors, fertilizer, cheap fuel, etc, & with the much better weather become much more productive & wealthy.
The large influx of American vehicles, planes & tractors into Germany, the GEI, German Guiana & Poland increase oil demand considerably, benefitting the oil industry in the GEI (Poland becomes its client).
Hitler asks Chiang for 1 million healthy, young men & women (equal numbers, between 16 and 22 years old, with good eyesight) to migrate to the GEI & German Guiana to work in farms, industry, the armed forces (being small, they are ideal for airborne units, submarines, tanks, etc,), construction, fishing, etc, this helps both China (fewer mouths to feed) & Germany. The influx of Germans & Chinese to these colonies & the rapid development of infrastructure & industry by American contractors & German companies causes an economic boom. Germany founds 3 each large army, navy & air force academies & medical colleges, 20 Technology Institutes & 30 trade schools between the GEI & Guiana.
Given the huge improvement in incentives, infrastructure, education & the abundance of construction, military, administrative & industrial jobs in the GEI & German Guiana, more former Dutch migrate to these colonies within 2 years of the merger than in the whole history of the colonies, relieving population pressure & lowering slightly real estate prices in former Holland. Germans who migrate to the GEI & German Guiana & thrive attract many relatives & friends, reducing real estate prices in Germany & hence increasing farm size, which together with American tractors & trucks boosts farm productivity also in Germany. Cheese, beer, white wine, Wurst, Sourkraut, wheat & rye from Germany flow to the colonies, while coffee, cacao, tobacco, sugar, ginger, tea, etc, from the colonies flood Europe.
The influx of GEI oil & nickel, copper & American, Canadian, British & French food, Chromium ore, nickel, lumber, paper, clothing, etc, on credit to Germany & Poland greatly reduces purchases of oil, grain, chromium ore, etc, from the USSR, Soy from Japan, chromium from Turkey, nickel, lumber, paper, etc, from Finland, paper, lumber & copper from Sweden, food, clothing, shoes, etc, from Italy, grain & oil from Romania, grain from Yugoslavia, etc,. Causing an economic slump in the USSR, Japan, Finland, Sweden, Turkey, Italy, Romania, Yugoslavia, etc, Germany uses this situation to begin urging these countries to form an axis with Germany, Poland & China to boost their economies, political leverage, purchasing power & military might.
Hitler also tries to persuade Belgium to merge with Germany in order to foment immigration to the Congo (which has 12 million natives but only 30,000 Europeans & produces gold, uranium, cobalt, copper, zinc, rubber, etc,) & to invite young Chinese to migrate to the Congo & to develop airport, road & RR networks, education, tourism, a large airline, unlimited mining potential, copper & cobalt smelting plants, agriculture (cacao, rubber, yams, peanuts, sugar, etc,), the armed forces, shipyards, tire factories, etc, Belgium is not yet convinced (especially the French speakers), but the Flemish Belgians are gradually more attracted to merge with Germany.
In the 2nd half of 1937 Hitler, Haushofer, Ribbentrop & their aids travel extensively by plane & convince Poland, Romania, the USSR, China, Italy, Thailand & Japan of the vulnerability of their many neutral neighbors (which can be easily coaxed to join the axis) & the impossibility of politically divided, ill prepared & poorly-motivated-to-fight France (which relies 100% on the Maginot Line & the Belgian fortresses), Britain (which relies 100% on its huge navy, which simply cannot stop an invasion if the English Channel & St George’s Channel are dominated by axis planes & large numbers of torpedo boats, destroyers, etc,) & US (which is in strategic denial & limbo & thinks it can defend the richest country in history with a smaller army than that of Poland) opposing the expansion of the axis or even defending themselves from a simultaneous, multiple, surprise attack by a mighty axis. Hitler explains to the other 7 prospective axis members that the allies would like to see Germany fight Poland, Romania & the USSR for years & without oil in order to gain Lebensraum (as Hitler admits to have absurdly proposed in Mein Kampf) & unimaginatively & unsuccessfully attack the Maginot Line with heavy losses. The allies also expct Japan to continue fighting China for years with great losses for both sides & importing oil, scarp metal, etc, Italy to expand in unproductive areas of Africa & the Med. Spain to continue fighting for years with Franco receiving aid from Germany & Italy & the Republicans receiving aid from the USSR & France. All this while the allies thrive. In contrast, the allies do not expect at all Germany to suddenly join forces with Poland & Romania nor Japan to join forces with China nor Germany, Poland, Romania, Japan, Italy, China & Thailand to suddenly join forces with the huge USSR (with a completely opposed ideology) in order to stop the wars in Spain & China, boost their economies & coax Yugoslavia, Greece, Spain, Belgium Switzerland, Ireland, Finland, Turkey, Iran, Iraq, Portugal, etc, into the axis & certainly, that the allies do not expect to be attacked simultaneously by a huge force in myriad places, without a war declaration & with completely different tactics from those of WW I, based on an excellent communications system that can coordinate all the branches of the armed forces of all axis nations, massive use of aviation, motorcycles, fast armor, highly mobile field artillery & FLAK & support by naval artillery (with air cover) & a huge merchant fleet.
Haushofer points out to Thailand the absurdity of remaining neutral after France & Britain stole the most productive areas of its territory & the advantages of joining the axis to boost its industry, economy, etc, reclaim the lost territory & gain additional territory & resources from the allies with help from mighty Japan, GEI & China in the east & with a strong axis attacking the allies in the west. Haushofer informs Thailand & Romania, that being the least populated & developed nations invited to join the axis, they stand to gain the most by taking advantage of the might of the behemoths of the axis. Oil from the GEI, training of its armed forces by German, Japanese & Chinese officers, axis armament, air & naval support, etc, The axis will also invest considerable resources building the Kra Canal, which will benefit Thailand & the world, should Thailand join the axis. If Thailand were part of the axis, it could easily recover the territories which it lost to Britain & France, because the 2 empires would not dare to start a war against the whole axis, with their small, outdated colonial armies & with Germany & Italy facing France & backed by the USSR, etc,
Hitler also points out to all prospective members the absurdity of China & Japan destroying each other in a war started by rogue Japanese officers while the allies thrive in their extremely weakly defended & rich colonies & the need for & advantages of all non French Eurasian powers using soon the huge investment in armament, bases & servicemen to rapidly defeat the allies, before their armament becomes more outdated & the massive cost of supporting their huge armed forces ruins their economies & most importantly, before the allies arm themselves & expand & modernize their ridiculous armed forces. Hitler, Haushofer & Ribbentrop convince the USSR, Poland, Romania, Thailand, China, Italy & Japan that for the axis gaining plenty of territory, industry, endless resources, etc, in the rich, weak US, PI, Britain, France, Newfoundland-Labrador, Malaya, Burma, Indochina, Ceylon, Madagascar, Australia, New Zealand, etc, with minimal casualties makes a lot more sense than for Germany to ruin its economy & waste millions of men & years fighting the strong Polish & red armies in the endless USSR & that it makes a lot more sense for the USSR to use its massive investment in tanks, planes, cannon, troops, munitions, etc, together with the rest of Eurasia to defeat France, Britain & the US in months with limited casualties, than to have to throw all that equipment away in a couple of years because it has become obsolete.
In another epiphany, Hitler realizes that he can use the immense industrial capacity of the US, Britain, Canada & France (which are struggling in a depression) to secure large amounts of consumer goods, food, machinery, strategic metals, ships, etc, on credit for the whole axis (just like he did for Germany & Poland for the purchase of East Prussia), while the axis concentrates on producing armament & expanding & modernizing its industry, infrastructure, agriculture, armed forces & bases. The axis has unprecedented purchasing power, so it can place huge orders & after making a few payments it can invade its creditors, wiping out the debt.
Stalin, Timoshenko, Molotov, Voroshilov, Mussolini, Badoglio, Balbo, Ciano, Pilsudski, Raczkiewicz, Sikorski, Hirohito, Fumimaro, Hiranuma, Tojo, Yamamoto, Chiang, Kung, Lin, Xue, King Carol II of Romania, Goga, Antonescu, King Ananda Mahidol of Thailand & his generals are extremely interested in Hitler’s & Haushofer’s views, strategy & proposals.
Inducing China to join the axis provides Japan with an honorable & profitable way out of the disastrous war with China & it allows Japan to start developing & benefitting from the land it has acquired in China. Moreover, using simultaneously the huge German, Chinese, Soviet, Japanese, Italian & Polish armies & the armed forces of dozens of small countries to help wipe out France, Britain & the US is an infallible strategy for Japan to acquire a huge empire (the PI, British Borneo, East Timor, New Guinea, Ceylon, Singapore, Penang, Mauritius, Australia, New Guinea, NZ, Hawaii, California, etc,) with minimal Japanese casualties & in a very short time.
Poland can buy East Prussia & annex Lithuania greatly simplifying its borders & expand its industry, economy & armed forces & then gain territories in the Americas, Africa, etc,& access to cheap axis oil. Rather than depending on tiny, politically fickle, militarily unreliable & incompetent & distant France for its defense, it ensures rapid modernization & expansion with the mighty, better organized axis.
Mussolini can finally & safely invade Tunisia, Egypt, Madagascar, Aden, Sudan, Somaliland, Kenya, etc, & gain colonies in the Americas, while Britain & France are collapsing at home & in Asia & with axis assistance, oil, food, armament, planes, shipping, etc, during his invasions.
China will stop losing territory & men to Japan & it can make up for the territory lost to Japan by getting Xinjiang back from the USSR, Nanjing & Shanghai back from Japan & by occupying Tibet & parts of Indochina, Burma, Malaya, the PI, Australia, US, etc, (it is much easier to fight with several allies a few isolated colonial French, British, Australian & American divisions than to fight the strong, fanatical Japanese just to keep some terrain) & it can buy time to develop its meager industry & infrastructure, educate its people & train its armed forces with axis & American help.

Dracoco has a little shameless behaviour in the past [-1 to -99]
Stalin can eliminate his 3 rich archenemies (capitalist, democratic France, Britain & the US) swiftly & with minimum Soviet casualties, gain territory in the Med, Pacific, Africa & the Americas & simultaneously keep Germany, Poland, Italy, China & Japan busy, far from the USSR for a while (gaining invaluable time to expand & modernize its army, industry, etc,). Moreover, his armed forces can gain invaluable experience fighting alongside axis forces against the allies in the modern warfare advocated by Germany. On the other hand, if it does not join the powerful axis, the USSR stands little chance of defeating the strong, well lead axis nations if it is allied with the 3 militarily weak & politically divided democracies.
Romania can boost its industry & military & gain territories in Africa & the Americas.
Thailand can boost its industry & military, regain lost territory & gain a lot more from the allies.
In a final epiphany in 1937, Hitler realizes that aviation is the future of transportation & war & that the only reason that it hasn’t taken off is that planes are made in small numbers so they are too expensive & that thousands of allied airline & ex WW I pilots are mostly unemployed owing to the depression & the high cost of planes. He decides to hire large numbers of unemployed pilots & navigators from the US for the growing axis airlines (which allows German pilots to join the LW & KM) & to train large numbers of aviators. Hitler also decides that the axis will import initially & then produce very large numbers of planes in order to bring down the price while increasing quality & reliability. Hitler also tasks Dornier, Junkers & Heinkel with designing & producing together a sleek airliner for 60 passengers with 6 engines, which can cruise above 350 km/h & can double as a bomber, of which 6,000 will be produced in the GEI ASAP. Tens of thousands of small planes & millions of motorcycles, cars, trucks & tractors give axis troops unprecedented mobility. Hitler remembers that the Bäumer Red Bird used only 8 hp to cruise at a speed useful to transport troops & concludes that the cheap Piper Cub with 65 hp can be used to transport 4 men (2 on the wings with parachutes), so that thousands of these planes can provide incredible mobility to axis troops with little fuel. He imagines how fast the invasion of France in 1914 would have been with thousands of Cubs (each with 4 men), fast tanks & hundreds of thousands of motorcycles (each with 1 or 2 men), cars, trucks & tractors & supported by thousands of bombers & fighters. He concludes that invading the French & British coasts on the English channel by such means on the same day is perfectly feasible.
At sea cheap Sea Cubs deployed from destroyers, merchant raiders, islands, etc, can provide invaluable recce, antisubmarine patrol, artillery spotting, communications, evacuation of severely wounded, etc,
Germany, Romania & Poland persuade the USSR to pull out of Xinjiang & to stop aiding the Chinese Communists if China joins the axis. Germany, Poland, Romania, Thailand & the USSR induce Japan to pull out of Shanghai & Nanking if China joins the axis & resigns itself to yielding permanently to Japan the rest of the Chinese territory that Japan has occupied. Germany, Poland,Romania, the USSR, Italy & Japan then persuade China to join the axis in order to recover Xinjiang, Shanghai & Nanjing & to boost its ruined economy & battered armed forces. The creation of the unbeatable axis will soon deliver far richer & less populated territories in the Americas, the PI, the French & British Empires, etc, & enormous economic, technological & military benefits for all its members.
Without previous announcement, the 8 nations sign the Eurasian axis pact on 18 February, 1938, stunning the world. The axis is formed with the well publicized purpose of securing peace (including stopping the wars in China & Spain) & enhancing trade, transportation (building the Kra Canal, international road, airport, & RR systems, etc,) & technical & cultural exchange & generating almost unlimited collective purchasing power to import goods from countries outside the axis at very low prices & on favorable credit & with the secret purpose of defeating & sharing the British & French Empires, the US & some other countries after coaxing dozens of countries to join the axis & strengthening their industries & armed forces. The pact also states openly that all axis nations will demilitarize their common borders (releasing millions of troops), that no axis nation will attack any country without approval of all the founding axis members (under penalty of being itself attacked by the other members of the axis) & that a declaration of war or an attack on any axis nation will automatically result in a state of war with all axis nations. Moreover, aggression on a client nation of the axis by non axis members or civil war within a client nation can also result in axis intervention. In other words, the extremely strong, militaristic axis offers to the world that it will stop wars decisively & promptly, which the league of nations failed to do miserably in Manchuria, Ethiopia, Spain, China, etc,
On 6 March, 1938 the Axis Purchase Bureau (APB, organized by Germany long before the axis pact was signed) signs contracts with American schools for 30,000 axis men & women to train as airline pilots & an equal number to train each as draftsmen, auto mechanics, lathe operators, milling machine operators, bulldozer operators, oil industry workers, farmers, nurses, ambulance medics, firemen & welders in the US in 6 month, crash courses. A contract is also signed for 10,000 axis machinists each to take a 1 year die making or a production line design & maintenance course. The APB also negotiates extremely low prices by buying enormous volumes & places orders in the US (financed in monthly payments at 2% yearly interest amortized over 4 years from delivery) for 100 million each boxes of envelops, sewing kits, packs of blackboard chalk, light bulbs, boxes of aspirin, cans of Vick’s Vaporub, steel buckets, rolls of insulating tape, staplers, can openers, notebooks, writing pads, pencils, drinking glasses, electric batteries, handkerchiefs, scarves, sun glasses, watches, rolls of film for pictures, rolls of 8 mm film for movies, flashlights, belts, purses, towels, blankets, bed sheet sets, shirts, blouses, skirts, wallets, shorts, T-shirts, jeans (half of them blue & half green) & pair of shoes, socks, tennis shoes & work & winter boots, 30 million each Zippo lighters, pupil desks, wool caps, man’s & woman’s hats, heavy winter coats. heavy winter underwear, 200,000 km each of oil pipe line, high voltage power line, low voltage power line & of RR tracks (steel & ties), 1 million km each of telephone line, 1” steel cable, heavy naval rope, 10 million t each of high grade coke, steel plate, cement, ammonium nitrate, sulfur, vegetable oil, potatoes, soy, wheat, barley, corn, sugar, sweet potatoes, rice & oats, 1 million t of glass panes & celluloid film, 10 million 8 mm movie cameras, picture cameras, syringes, fountain pens, metric rulers, packets of sulpha, measuring tapes, blackboard erasers, slide rules, pencil sharpeners, garden hoses, electric toasters, stainless steel silverware sets for 6 persons, cooking pot-pan sets, telephones, telephone posts, power line towers, hacksaw blades, wheel carts, 0.5 hp electric motors, prescription glasses (made to individual prescriptions), 1 hp electric motors, nylon stockings, jerry cans, bicycles, kitchen blenders, guitars, trumpets, flutes, saxophones, violins, harmonicas, pocket knives, sets of kitchen knives, scissors, bathroom mirrors, beds, desks, bookshelves, table-chair sets for 6 people, bench vises, claw hammers, metric drill-bit sets, metal file sets, pliers sets, screw driver sets, metric English wrench sets, electric fans, spades, shovels, machetes, lawn mowers, extension cords, 3 million each record players, cold weather sleeping bags, 5 hp electric motors, bath robes, doctor’s robes, coveralls, bench grinders, motorcycles (half of them with sidecars), coffins & water pumps, 1 million each used vehicles in good shape, wheel chairs, crutches, blow torches with oxygen & acetylene tanks, hospital beds, stethoscopes, medical manometers, scalpel sets, new trucks, cars, tractors,1 year old work horses & heifers (½ dairy & beef) & vacuum cleaners, 5,000 elevator systems for 10 story buildings, billiard ball sets & tables, 80 million tires, 5 million t each of detergent, grease & soap, 50 million liters of motor oil, 4 million t each of welding rods, corrugated & galvanized steel sheet for roofing, zinc & aluminum, 2 million t each of compressed alfalfa hay, potassium chloride, phosphate fertilizer, pasta, bacon, lard, butter, ham, peanut butter, peanuts, dried peas, beans, lentils, cotton, nails, solder, metric bolts & nuts, copper & powdered milk, ½ million t molybdenum, ¼ million each bulldozers, steam rollers, electric generators, electric air compressors, electric transformers, gasoline engine air compressor, drill presses, stamping presses, lathes, milling machines, surface grinders, wheat harvesting machines & bailing machines, 10 billion each hard boiled eggs & safety pins, 1 billion each rolls of toilet paper, candy bars, chocolate bars, packs of bubble gum, cans of spam & cans of fruit, 10,000 gas stations, steam shovels & 12-passenger launches with about 50 hp, 200 oil drilling rigs, ice factories, potable water treating plants & 1,000 kg weighing scales. 50 each cargo ships (3,000 t, 16 knots), large air liquefaction plants, fertilizer plants, saw mill, flour mills, 20 each cargo ships (10,000 tons, 16 knots) & tankers, 2 ocean liners, 100 power plants (1 MW, 20 coal & 80 fuel oil) & commercial radio stations, 500 Diesel locomotives, 100,000 each classroom blackboards, dentist chairs, barber chairs, operating tables, boxcars, buses, ambulances, dump trucks, pipe trucks, 500 kg weighing scales & Piper Cubs with radios, a slightly reinforced landing gear & without propeller (12,000 of them are Sea Cubs with floats. The Axis also signs contracts with US companies to build rapidly large ports & desalination plants in Arabia, Abadan, Bardia, Tripoli, Tobruk & Mogadishu, 100 airports with three 1 km concrete runways all over the world. 2,000 km of concrete road each in GEI, Poland, Spain, Turkey, Romania, Iran & China, IEA, Thailand & Manchuria, a massive ball & roller bearing plant in the GEI, Two facories, each to make 50,000 armored trucks with wheels & 25,000 half-tracks in Germany & German Guiana. 2,000 km of RR each in Libya, IEA, Poland, German Guiana, Borneo, Xinjiang, Mongolia, Manchuria, Thailand, Peru, Chile, Argentina & Colombia, a huge tire plant in GEI, plants to build 1 million Piper Cubs in Korea (engines, props, frames, etc,), 200,000 Tiger Moths in Italy, 50,000 Vega with floats & 6 blade, constant speed props in the USSR, 10,000 DC-3 with 6 blade constant speed props in Germany, 5,000 Catalinas with 6 blade constant speed props in the USSR & 5 massive projects in China: a steel mill, a cement plant, a fabric, clothing & shoe manufacturing complex (blue & green denim, boots, jeans, shirts, socks, dresses, etc,), a tractor & truck plant & a shipyard. The US is in a severe depression & it provides excellent prices & welcomes the orders, which activate US industry, agriculture, mining & shipping. On the same terms the axis negotiates wholesale prices & orders from Britain 30 million pair each of rubber gloves & heavy wool socks, 20 million tires, 25,000 Tiger Moths (biplanes) with radios & without props (3,000 of them Sea Moths. Germany makes smaller diameter 11 blade, die-cast magnesium alloy props for them), 10 each cargo ships & tankers, 200 locomotives, 2 ocean liners, 6,000 fishing boats, 50 ferry boats, 2 refrigerated ships, 1 million motorcycles, ½ million each tractors, trucks & cars. 10 million square meters each of cashmere, airplane-quality linen, canvas & Egyptian cotton fabric, 7 million tons of chromite & 500 tons each of cinnamon (Ceylon) & industrial diamonds (S. From Canada the axis orders 1 million tons of honey, beef, steel plate, nickel, potatoes, wheat, soy, corn, barley & rye, 2,000 barges, three each tankers & 10,000 t cargo ships, ½ million motorcycles, 1 million each wheel chairs, crutches & coffins, 300,000 trucks, tractors & cars. The axis also contracts for 3,000 axis people to train as airline pilots & for equal numbers to train each as mechanics, lathe operators, bulldozer operators, farmers & welders in Canada.
Hitler in civilian clothes personally delivers the axis purchase orders & contracts to the American, British, French & Canadian governments with great publicity in ceremonies that celebrate the end of the depression & primitive living conditions & the beginning of international cooperation, large scale aviation & prosperity.
The die-cast magnesium alloy 9 blade props of the Cub & 15 blade props of the Tiger moth are inexpensive, easy to mass produce, efficient & tough thanks to die-casting & improve slightly the poor performance of these cheap planes They are easy to balance & do not swell in high humidity, unlike wooden props. They have a smaller diameter than the conventional 2 blade props. They produce more thrust, less noise & are less likely to strike stones, birds, water, etc & to fail catastrophically if a blade is damaged or lost. The smaller diameter allows for a shorter landing gear & for a light MG to be placed on the wing, closer to the prop axis. Since they push a larger mass of air & a more constant flow, they also provide for better engine cooling.
The 6 blade, constant speed, smaller diameter props with die cast magnesium blades used in the Sea Vega, DC-3, Catalina, Hs-123, Stuka, I-153, I-16, Bf 109 & 110, IAR-80, IK-3, Ju-88, PZL.37, A5N, Ki-27, G3M, Ki-21, Val, Kate, etc, also produce more thrust & less noise than the 2 & 3 blade conventional props & enhance performance, (especially in the abundant I-16, whose 2 blade props waste much of the power from the powerful engine used in the last models), Again the smaller props are less likely to hit birds, water, etc, & allow for a shorter landing gear & for the MGs or 20 mm cannon to be placed a little closer to the prop’s axis.
The massive amounts of goods imported from the allies by the axis are rapidly sold to the huge axis population almost as they arrive & the capital is used to make the initial monthly payments & to fund research & development (turboprop airliners & bombers, jet fighters, Radar guided, naval, AA & field, automatic 5, 10 & 13 cm cannon, proximity shells, computers, lightweight, strong Mn-Zn-Al-Si-Mg alloys, etc,), boost, agriculture, public works, the armed forces & the armament industry. Tractors & trucks greatly boost agricultural production & productivity in Germany, GEI, German Guiana, China, Poland, Romania, Manchuria, Spain, Turkey, Iran, Sweden, etc, & render the army much more mobile, creating great demand for the tractors & trucks which will soon be mass produced in China’s Ford plant. The inexpensive & readily accessible 100,000 imported Cub & the thousands of Po-2, Storch, Tiger Moth, Vega, etc, boost civil & military aviation enormously in axis countries, so that there is great demand when Korea produces a million improved Cubs, bringing down the price even more. Even the costs of flying insurance, flying school, plane maintenance, spare parts, etc, plummet. The large numbers of launches, passenger boats, trucks, cars, tractors, motorcycles, Cubs, Po-2, Tiger Moth, Storch & Vega provide the axis armed forces with unprecedented recce, spotting & mobility for deep penetration, surprise attacks (true Blitzkrieg, unlike the masses of slowly walking German soldiers with horses hauling cannon during actual WW II in Poland, France & Barbarossa).
The numerous imported cars, trucks & motorcycles prove the wisdom of investing large sums in the Autobahn, which is extended to former Holland, Austria & Denmark & to the GEI & German Guiana & emulated by Poland, Italy, Spain, Switzerland, Belgium, Czechoslovakia, Romania, Turkey, etc,
Even a Cub (65 hp), Po-2 (125 hp) or Tiger Moth (130 hp) can transport 4 men (2 men with parachutes on the wings), a Storch (240 hp) can transport 6 men (2 men in the cabin & 2 on each wing) & an R-5 can transport 2 men in the fuselage & 10 on the wings for up to 100 miles at a low cost (much cheaper than a Ju 52 transporting 18 paratroopers) & extremely fast over difficult terrain [like the Ardennes, wide rivers (Meuse, Rhine, Mosselle, Thames, etc,) & canals, over the Maginot Line, in the French Alps, Malaya, Burma, Ceylon, Luzon, from Niihau & Kauaii to Oahu, Belgium to Britain, Sumatra to Singapore & Port Dickson (Malaya), Ireland to Wales, Pantelleria to Kelibia (Tunisia), Anamur (Turkey) to Cyprus, Cape Verde to Dakar, Colombia to Panama or Venezuela, Mindoro to Luzon, Bardia to an aerodrome in Egypt, IEA to Sudan, Aden, Uganda & Kenya, in the Rockies, over the Grand Canyon, or in the USSR over rivers, during the rainy season or to Crimea, Iran to Baku, swampy areas around Leningrad, etc,]. Men weighing under 55 kg are chosen for Cub pilots & troops (the Chinese, Japanese, Thai, GEI natives, etc, prove ideal), the more powerful planes can carry heavier men. After the 4 men fight, the Cub, Po-2, etc, can refuel & continue advancing or evacuate a wounded trooper to a field hospital. Cubs & Po-2 also spot for field & naval artillery & for much faster Hs 123s & Stukas most effectively. With a fixed MG, several 5 kg bombs & even hand grenades, thousands of Cubs & Po-2 with a lone pilot can also harass isolated, withdrawing troops in open country into surrendering. The less abundant Tiger Moths, Storchs & Vegas are even more useful in war. A Vega with floats (500 hp) can taxi or fly in ground effect across the English Channel at high speed with 6 passengers in the cabin & 2 on each wing & fly back to pick up more men, so a single plane can deliver over 100 men within hours, 100 such planes can deploy over 10,000 men to England in the 1st, crucial morning.
After dropping the paratroopers on the wings, the Cub, Po-2, etc, can switch off the engine & glide silently to land unnoticed behind the border, on fortresses, lakes, rivers or next to docks (Sea Cub), etc, The large numbers of launches, passenger & fishing boats acquired by the axis & barges, mine sweepers, landing craft, torpedo boats, destroyers, etc, made by the axis can also transport thousands of men & equipment from Belgium to England, etc, in the first critical hours of the invasion.
Being exposed to each other’s planes in the GEI, Poland, etc, Germany, Romania, Poland, China, the USSR & Japan trade planes, so Japan acquires Hs 123, Bf 109, & 110 & Ju-88, IAR-80, PZL.37, TB-3, etc, Germany gets more vulnerable, but longer ranged Kates, Vals, G3Ms, Kawanishi flying boats, A5N, etc, Increased demand of all planes greatly reduces costs & boosts production for all axis nations.
Germany includes Austria, Holland & its colonies & Denmark & its colonies, about 155 million people (including the GEI natives) & a truly impressive merchant fleet & oil, nickel, rubber, etc, from the GEI. The axis includes this much enlarged Germany, the USSR, Japan (no longer at war), China (no longer at war), a strong, intact Poland & Romania & a sound Italy with a larger industry & plenty of axis fuel (for its navy, army, industry, etc,), coal, modern fighters, dive bombers, torpedo planes, steel, explosives, American planes, machinery, trucks, motorcycles, etc. The axis has by far the most formidable military force.in history.
A major campaign begins on 7 March, 1938 to surveying & plan for construction of the Kra Canal.

Dracoco has a little shameless behaviour in the past [-1 to -99]
Chapter II: Resistance is Futile.
Serial Coercion, Strengthening & Use of Small Nations.
Hitler forgets about invading Czechoslovakia, preferring to coax it to join the axis, so he can use its armed forces. Germany does offer homesteads in the GEI & German Guiana at attractive prices on long term contracts & employment in factories, the armed forces, administration, education, etc, to all Germans (including those living in France, Britain, Romania, the Americas, Czechoslovakia, Hungary, the USSR, etc,) & to well educated citizens or citizens with special talents from Switzerland, Czechoslovakia, Hungary, Poland, Romania, Spain, Sweden, the US, Portugal, Italy, etc,
On Sunday, 1 May, 1938 Germany occupies Iceland (population 120,000, but it has the ideal location for navy and air force bases), Slovenia & the eastern ½ of Croatia (whose armed forces hate their Serbian masters & quickly join the German & Italian forces). Italy occupies Albania & the western ½ of Croatia. Poland occupies Lithuania. The USSR occupies Latvia, Estonia & half of Portuguese Angola. Romania occupies half of Portuguese Mozambique (with support from IEA & the Italian navy). Thailand liberates the land stolen from it by Britain & France (which became part of Malaya, Burma & Indochina) with heavy Chinese army & Japanese air & naval support. China occupies Tibet, Hong Kong, Macau & the northern half of the area of Indochina not occupied By Thailand. Japan occupies Portuguese Timor (East Timor), British Borneo, the southern half of the area of Indochina not occupied by Thailand, New Caledonia & the large, sparsely populated South Island of NZ.
Japan & Germany are connected in Borneo & Timor (which they now share). Japan & Thailand are connected in former Indochina.
On the same day the axis deploys large forces to its borders with & it extends a joint ultimatum to Hungary, Bulgaria, Finland, Czechoslovakia, Spain & Iran, to join the axis within 3 days or be at war with all 8 axis powers.
The day after the invasion the axis makes a public statement: Portugal & the allies only exploited their colonies but never really developed them or even posted strong forces defending them. Britain took for granted invaluable territories guarded by a few hundred policemen & Indian troops. Thailand has simply liberated territories stolen by strong France & Britain when Thailand was weak & had no allies.
Thailand has simply reclaimed them, now that it is stronger & has 7 strong allies. China with 500 million people & Japan with 80 million people plan to develop the remainder of Indochina & Japan also will develop North Borneo, that will provide the oil which Japan needs much more than Britain does.
Germany & Italy have simply liberated from their Serbian masters the people from Slovenia & Croatia (as proven by the fact that local troops immediately joined axis forces & fought Serbian forces). Germany will develop Iceland, which has fewer people than hundreds of European cities, a rather absurd situation for a nation.
Poland annexed Lithuania, while the USSR annexed Estonia & Latvia greatly simplifying their borders & eliminating the possibility of an allied invasion through those weak neutral countries. The former Baltic nations will soon have modern transportation systems, agriculture & industry.
Romania invaded half of Portuguese Mozambique & the USSR occupied half of Portuguese Angola, which have been practically unimproved in centuries. They will develop these colonies & make it easier for Portugal to administer & develop their smaller colonies. Romania & the USSR could have easily invaded the whole colonies with axis help. However, they took only a half, because they want to show Portugal how to develop a colony, so that both neighbors will benefit from each other. The axis also urges Portugal to join it, in order to boost its economy, industry, etc, & to secure its colonies & homeland.
The axis in no way wants war. It is simply redistributing very valuable, but poorly administered, developed & defended territories from poor administrators (who still have huge empires & resources after losing these territories) to powerful nations, which will develop them rapidly.
The axis has issued an ultimatum to 6 nations to join it. It could have easily invaded these countries, but it much prefers to strengthen their economy, armed forces,. industry, etc, & count them as strong allies, than to destroy & govern them.
Portugal (which just lost East Timor, Macau & half each of Mozambique & Angola), France, Britain & the 6 very weak nations which received the ultimatum appeal to the league of nations & directly to the US, but the US is neither ready nor willing to declare war on the mighty axis [over 1 billion people: 500 million Chinese, 170 million Soviets, 155 million Germans (Including the GEI, former Holland, Austria, Denmark, Croatia, etc,), 80 million Japanese, 44 million Italians, 35 million Poles, 20 million Romanians & 15 million Thais]. All 6 countries under the ultimatum have extremely weak armed forces.
Franco has Italian, German & Soviet forces in Spain & cannot fight them & the Republicans, so he promptly joins the axis (Stalin stops supplying armament, munitions, aviators, generals, tank crews, etc, to the Republicans & helps Franco instead. The latter quickly wins the civil war (ending war in Europe). Hungary, Finland, Czechoslovakia, Bulgaria & Iran cannot oppose a German-Polish-Soviet-Romanian invasion.
All 6 weak countries join the axis before the ultimatum expires.
Portugal resigns itself to losing East Timor, Macau & half of Mozambique & Angola & realizes that the axis is invincible & becoming stronger each week, so it applies to join the axis on the same day as Spain, before it is invaded or loses its remaining colonies. It is admitted & becomes the first neutral nation to join the axis without an ultimatum.
Portugal & its remaining colonies (the Azores, Cape Verde, Goa, half of Mozambique & Angola, etc,) provide invaluable locations for naval & air bases & staging areas for the axis worldwide. Accordingly, bases are quickly built & ships, planes & troops deployed. It is easier for Portugal to govern & develop with axis help its reduced colonial territory.
France & Britain are stunned by the invasions of their colonies. However, they cannot afford war with the axis at all (in WW I they barely defeated Germany & A-H thanks to Italian, Russian, Serbian, Romanian & American troops. They cannot fight without the US against their former enemies & their former allies now & reinforced by populous China & strong Poland). Britain is glad not to have lost Burma & Malaya. France losses Indochina & New Caledonia. Britain loses British Borneo, Victoria point & some of the oil producing areas in Burma & some of the rice producing areas in Malaya to Thailand, but they know that they could easily lose more colonies & the homelands if they went to war with the axis. Thailand, China & Japan become stronger.
The armed forces of the 7 new member nations of the axis are rapidly reinforced with axis forces, expanded, armed & trained. Portuguese Cape Verde is the ideal location to intercept allied shipping saling between the S & N Atlantic & to attack Dakar (the Crucial French bastion in W Africa)
Mozambique is in an ideal location to invade weak Zambia, Bostwana, Rhodesia & extremely rich S Africa. Mozambique can also provide bases for air support during an invasion of Madagascar. Goa is ideal to provide air support, etc, to invade Ceylon & Pondicherry.
The world is stunned again, this time by the rapid, nearly bloodless simultaneous invasions & the impressive growth of the axis within days.
Belgium, Switzerland, Turkey, Sweden, Yugoslavia, etc, are fearful, but they know that mobilizing against the axis is pointless & that joining the axis brings great economic benefits & security. The US population does not feel threatened & remains indifferent (more so than when Italy killed tens of thousands in Ethiopia or Japan raped &/or murdered hundreds of thousands in China in 1937), it is more interested in the imminent baseball season & the employment surge & obvious economic recovery resulting from the enormous & growing axis purchase orders.
On 11 May, 1938 the reinforced axis deploys large forces to the frontiers with & extends a joint ultimatum to Yugoslavia, Greece, Colombia, Norway & Sweden to join the axis within 3 days or be at war with all 15 axis nations. Yugoslavia & Greece are in no position to fight neighboring or nearby Germany, Romania, Hungary, Poland, Bulgaria, Czechoslovakia, the USSR & Italy, especially if the latter 8 are backed by Spain, China, Japan, Thailand, etc,
Moreover, their citizens crave the imported consumer goods, jobs, trade & armament which are flooding the axis, so they promptly join the axis.
Sweden & Norway want to avoid a rapid Soviet-German-Polish-Finnish invasion at all costs & join the axis. Colombia has a ridiculous navy & cannot expect help from the allies, who are definitely not willing to fight the axis yet. Japanese warships off its Pacific coast & Italian & German warships & troop transports off its Atlantic coast & Condors flying from German Guiana & dropping leaflets (which could as well be bombs) persuade Colombia to join the axis.
Construction of the Kra Canal begins at full spead & with a lot of publicity.
Having increased its population (& purchasing power) & punctually made the first monthly payment for received imported goods, the axis places additional purchase orders from & signs additional building contracts with American companies, who welcome them. Britain, Canada & France threaten with stopping delivery of goods ordered by the axis in response to the invasions. However, when the axis threatens with stopping payments on delivered goods, France, Canada & Britain (who cannot afford to lose that money, nor to end up with a lot of unfinished ships, planes, etc,) continue delivering goods.
NZ & Australia are disgusted by the allies lack of response to the loss of the South Island of NZ (a good part of its population & land) & New Caledonia. Neither declares war on the axis, which would be suicidal. They have to adapt to the new balance of power & continue trading with the axis. However, they inform Britain, that they will definitely not fight in another European war. Too many Anzacs died in the great war. In contrast, the Limeys didn’t even go to war over NZ. NZ requests from the axis that those of its citizens in the captured territory who want to move to the North Island be allowed to do so. The axis accepts. Japan is glad to deal with so few Europeans & Maoris in its new territory as possible.
On 22 May, 1938 the formidable axis mobilizes massive forces to its frontiers with the following countries & presents Turkey, Iraq, Peru & Arabia with a joint ultimatum to join the axis within 3 days & boost their economies or be at war with all 20 axis nations (be wiped out).
Iraq & Arabia have weak armed forces & are pro German & anti British, so they join the axis. Turkey is surrounded by the axis & it knows that the allies cannot & will not help it, so it joins the axis. Peru cannot oppose an axis attack from Colombia or by sea or by air (from Colombia or German Guiana) & also joins it. The axis has a huge economy, population (well over a billion people), number of ports, airports & airfields, merchant fleet, navy, air force & army.
A secret 24 nation, axis pact signed on 2 June, 1938 specifies that no armament, explosives, ammunition, fertilizer, food (grain, canned or salted fish, cold cuts, vegetable oil, lard, dairy, eggs, etc,), farm or draft animals, metals, ores, oil, vehicles, planes, ships, horses, tractors, etc, produced by any axis nation will be sold outside the axis. The pact specifies that the axis will convert at least 94 merchant raiders & produce so many submarines, destroyers & torpedo boats as possible & all countries will develop airborne units & those with coasts will develop torpedo bomber & anti shipping bombing squadrons.
With strong axis support, Iran, Arabia & Iraq nationalize the British oil companies & refinery & stop selling oil to Britain & France. Romania, the USSR & the GEI (German East Indies) also stop selling oil to the allies, who have to buy it from Venezuela & the US. However, as agreed during negotiations for the old USN ships on credit, British & American ships & planes in Singapore, etc, can buy fuel in the GEI.
Instead of imprisoning the Jews from Germany, Hitler arranges for Poland, Thailand, Canada, Spain, Portugal, Yugoslavia, etc, to accept them. Industry, health services, education, culture & the economy in these countries (& hence in the axis) benefit from Jewish physicians, professors, workers, engineers, businessmen, scientists, writers, musicians, etc,
Finally, on 10 June, 1938 the new, extremely strong axis deploys large forces to its borders with the following nations & presents Belgium, Ireland, Switzerland, Afghanistan, Chile & Argentina with a joint ultimatum to join the axis within 3 days or be at war with all 24 axis nations.
Ireland wants to avoid being bombed & invaded & it’s eager to liberate its northern territory from British occupation (for which the axis offered help in talks a week before extending the ultimatum), so it joins the axis. Chile faces the axis in Peru & at sea & has weak armed forces, so it promptly joins. When Chile joins, Argentina has the axis next door & being pro German & pro Italian & wanting to enhance its economy Argentina joins the axis. All the other weak nations have to join the axis also, providing invaluable industry, locations for bases, shipping, grain, borders, armed forces, etc, around the world & rendering it utterly invincible.
Germany sells Poland the tooling, machinery, etc, to mass produce the outdated Hs 123 with Soviet & German engines, aluminum, etc, Poland pays Germany for the tooling, 80 BF 109, etc, with large numbers of finished Hs 123, it makes a profit selling planes to other axis nations & it can outfit its armed forces. Germany sells Romania the tooling, engines, etc, to make the outdated He 111 & it sells Switzerland the tooling, engines, etc, to make the outdated but reliable Ju 52. Germany sells Sweden & Norway the tooling, engines, aluminum, etc, to make the Condor & 20,000 fuel drop tanks. Germany sells the tooling, engines, etc, for the Fieseler Storch to Bulgaria & it sells Belgium, the tooling, engines, etc, to mass produce the Ju 87. The axis places initial orders for 5,000 of each of these planes & of the D.XXI & 3,000 Polish PZL.37 bombers. Germany concentrates on producing large numbers of DC-3, Bf 109 & 110, Ju 88 & 6 engine airliner-bomber.
Germany sells Colombia the tooling, engines, armament, materials, etc, to build 100 E-boats in secret with German supervision (Colombia pays Germany with 25 finished torpedo boats. 75 torpedo boats are also built in the GEI in secret & Turkey, Yugoslavia, Romania, Poland, Finland, Norway, Thailand & Greece each build 50 torpedo boats.
With Ford’s help, Germany, Italy, Poland & Japan build a factory in Manchuria to make 50,000 STUG IIIs per year (with a remotely operated MG 34 & with two kinds of high velocity guns; 60 mm for AT & 80 mm for infantry support against fortifications & for AT. Half the STUGs are made with each type of gun) & 25,000 of a more reliable, much improved version of the BT-7 (with a radio, a high velocity 50 mm gun with a muzzle brake, a crew of 4, tungsten AP shells & an MG 34) per year for the whole axis.
Germany stops production of the PZ I, II & III. Germany & the USSR provide steel, sights, machinery, etc, to Italy, from which the axis orders 40,000 90 mm cannon. Romania receives, tooling, machinery, explosives, brass, etc, & an axis order for 22 million each 6 , 8 & 9 cm shells (AA, HE, AP, smoke, illuminating, incendiary, etc,) with the shells Romania can pay for the materials, tooling, etc, & buy STUGs, planes, etc,
With extremely abundant, cheap Chinese & Thai labor, German, Japanese, Polish & Soviet engineering explosives & heavy American machinery the axis undertakes major construction programs to rapidly build massive port facilities in China, Thailand, Norway, GEI, Japan, Vladivistok, etc, the Kra Canal (which greatly improves shipping between China-Japan-Vladivostok & the European axis & is highly praised by everybody, even Britain, which loses a lot of traffic through Singapore, but gains massive axis traffic through Ceylon, India, Aden & Suez & better access to Canada from India & Ceylon), excellent, 2 lane RR lines between Chongking (China) & Rangoon with lots of bridges, from Abadan to Baku & between Thailand & Rangoon (so that American & British goods can reach the eastern axis both by train from Abadan & Rangoon & by ship through the Kra canal), thousands of schools & hundreds of airports, fuel tank farms, ports, naval & air bases throughout the world (Faroes, Iceland, Sumatra, Canaries, Azores, Cape Verde, German Guiana, Angola, Thailand, Colombia, Argentina, Iran, East Timor, etc,), to develop hydroelectric capacity in Norway, Iceland, China, Argentina, Colombia, Peru, Argentina, Thailand, GEI, etc, & to increase steel production in China, Italy, Poland, Spain, Argentina, GEI & Manchuria & shipyard capacity in GEI, Poland, Iran, Norway, Belgium, Norway, Sweden, Spain, Greece, Romania, Turkey, Portugal, Thailand, Argentina, etc,

Dracoco has a little shameless behaviour in the past [-1 to -99]
Japan stops production of all its tanks & mass produces the STUG III & improved BT-7 for the axis. Czechoslovakia stops producing its riveted tanks with brittle armor plate & buys the tooling, machinery, engines, tough armor plate, welding equipment, knowhow, etc, from Germany & the USSR to produce only large numbers of Panzer IV with a 60 mm, HV gun (tungsten AP shells) for the whole axis (500 flame throwing Pz IV are also built by Italy with Czech parts). Germany produces large numbers of Fokker D.XXI fighters, landing craft, submarines with snorkels in former Holland & destroyers in former Denmark. Romania & Yugoslavia buy machinery, tooling, engines, guns, aluminum, radios, steel, etc, from the USSR & Germany to produce their excellent new fighters (IAR-80 & IK-3) in large numbers, destroyers & submarines. Greece & Portugal buy steel, engines, guns, etc, to make large numbers of landing craft, shallow draft gun boats & seagoing barges for the whole axis. The USSR sells the tooling, engines, materials, etc, to produce large numbers of outdated SB bombers, Po-2, R-5, TB-3 & I-153 to Yugoslavia, Bulgaria & China. Hitler helps China to induce Ford to build a large truck & tractor factory in China (like the Ford truck factories in Germany) & to sell China all the tooling, etc, for the outdated Ford trimotor & to build a plant there to produce 5,000 slightly modernized trimotors with American aluminum, engines, propellers, radios, etc,
The massive expansion in axis armed forces, education, training & coordinated production of armament, tractors, vehicles, fertilizer, explosives, steel, food, etc, & the mobilization & deployment of armed forces all over the world minimize unemployment & depression in all axis nations. The massive imports which the APB orders from the allies put an end to worldwide depression & the sudden peace (despite the explosive growth of the axis, the world is at peace) & prosperity induces the allies to overlook the threat of an invasion. The axis has plenty of Chinese; Japanese & Thai silk & labor to make 300,000 high quality parachutes for its paratroopers, aviators & amateur jumpers (the large numbers of planes acquired by the axis also result in a boom in pleasure sky diving).
In September 1938 Hitler, Stalin, Mussolini, Pilsudski, Hirohito & Chiang appear in Time magazine as the architects of world peace & prosperity & the slayers of worldwide depression & widespread starvation & primitive living conditions in China, Thailand, Peru, Colombia, etc, in an article entitled Pax Eurasica. The article compares the nations coaxed into the axis without bloodshed to Rome’s client nations. But it points out that the axis achieved more in months & without bloodshed than what Rome took centuries to achieve less efficiently & with violence.
The armed forces of Japan, China, Thailand, the USSR & the GEI begin joint maneuvers in Asia & the Indian & Pacific Oceans.
The armed forces of Germany, Italy, Poland, the USSR, Romania, Bulgaria, Yugoslavia, Belgium, Norway, Switzerland, Spain, Greece, Sweden, Finland, Ireland, Portugal, Norway, Hungary & Czechoslovakia begin joint maneuvers in Europe, Africa, the Med, Red Sea & Atlantic. The USSR, Turkey, Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan & Arabia also perform joint maneuvers in the middle east.
The armed forces of Japan, the USSR, China, German Guiana, Angola, Belgian Congo, Chile, Peru & Columbia begin joint maneuvers in S America, the Antarctic ocean, the S Atlantic, the SE Pacific.
On 9 July, 1938 the axis propaganda agency publishes worldwide an article comparing the rapid & impressive development of infrastructure, agriculture, health care, etc, & the improved living standards which Japan achieved in Formosa (which in decades became the 7th largest sugar exporter), Manchuria (an industrial & agricultural powerhouse), Korea & East Timor, that Italy achieved in Eritrea, Albania (which has started producing oil), etc, & that Germany achieved in the GEI & the explosive industrialization of the USSR, Germany, Japan & Italy in the 1930s to the ridiculous development of the British & French colonies after prolonged occupation in India (which despite endless iron ore reserves & over 370 million people, after 2 centuries of Britih rule produces less steel than tiny Australia with 7 million people & India has almost no industry, lousy transportation, sanitation, medical care, etc, & it depends on Burmese rice for precarious survival), Ceylon, Egypt, Sudan, Syria, Jordan, Palestine, Mauritius, Reunion, Madagascar, Senegal, Ghana, Nigeria, Namibia, Rhodesia, Kenya, Morocco, Indochina, Burma, Malaya, Uganda, Belize, British & French Guiana, Martinique, Papua, New Britain, the Andaman Islands, Jamaica, Haiti, Tahiti, New Caledonia, etc, The article also mentions the fact that Britain ruined completely the Chinese economy in the 19th century (to such an extent that China was still starving before it joined the axis & received American food on credit) by forcing it at naval gun point to buy tons of opium for decades, while Britain produced the opium at ridiculously low cost in India (also ruining its economy) with millions of starving peasants. It also describes how Britain further ruined India by forcing it to import, textiles, vehicles, machinery, etc, & by selling locally produced salt with outrageous taxes. In contrast, the article praises the rapid & substantial development, sanitation, etc, achieved by the US in Hawaii, the PI & Puerto Rico & concludes that if the axis or the US controlled the colonies of the inept British & French Empires, the whole world would benefit considerably. Finally, the article describes in detail the massive purchase orders which the axis has placed in order to rapidly boost aviation & the American, Canadian, British & French economies, to enhance the living standards in the axis & to end the depression & unemployment afflicting the world. The article is reprinted in the US (Time, Life, NY Times, etc,) & banned in Britain & France. However, thousands of smuggled copies are circulated & find wide acceptance in the population, who readily realize the complete incompetence of their colonial administrations & the efficiency of the axis governments.
A secret, 30 nation, worldwide axis pact is signed on 1 Oct, 1938. It specifies that all axis nations will recruit & train so many servicemen as possible & provide shipping, trains, medical services, bases, troops, planes, AAA, cannon, warships, ammunition, food, fuel, etc, to attack French, British & American territories, shipping, etc, simultaneously within 2 years.
When Spain joins the axis, German, Italian & Soviet planes, tanks, troops, cannon, trucks, etc, in Spain are united & reinforced & axis forces practice joint maneuvers after defeating the Republic & to prepare for the invasions of France, Tangiers & French Morocco.
Germany & Japan do not have to waste huge resources developing a synthetic fuel industry, since they have plenty of oil from the middle east, Romania, the USSR, GEI, North Borneo. The Italian, Polish, Czech, Chinese & Japanese armed forces, civilians & industries also have unlimited access to axis oil.
Axis armed forces have so much oil & latex that they decide to use a fuel similar to that used in flamethrowers to be dropped in drums from dive & level bombers on fortifications, armor, vehicle columns, etc,
Between late January & 1939 Italy sends most of its trucks, tanks, field guns, planes, motorcycles, buses, AAA (including 90 mm guns), mortars, etc, & large amounts of fuel, water, food, munitions, medical supplies, etc, to Bardia, Tripoli & IEA. 1 each German, Soviet & Greek divisions deploy in Tobruk-Bardia & an equal force deploys to Tripoli.
Germany, the USSR, Poland, Romania, Spain, Greece, Yugoslavia, Finland, Norway, Portugal, Belgium, Turkey, Thailand, Bulgaria & Italy develop torpedo & anti shipping dive & skip bomber squadrons trained by the Japanese, Finns, Germans, etc, before the war. Trained German, Finnish, Polish, Spanish & Italian pilots then teach Chinese, Colombian, Argentine, Chilean & Peruvian pilots in remote bases in Guiana, GEI, Colombia, etc,
Germany trades coal, radios, telephones, optics, etc, for 400 fast, Soviet BT-7 tanks in Nov 1938, but it soon realizes that the AP shells are useless, so it produces excellent tungsten AP shells for them & it sells 10,000 tungsten AP shells to the USSR. Mechanical glitches are corrected & radios are installed on all tanks. These tanks will prove extremely useful for scouting & for rapid thrusts deep into France, England, Wales & N Ireland with heavy air support by Hs 123s (& later in the US, etc,). With the ability to transport more troops on it, a much higher speed, 22 mm armor, a crew of 3 & a 45 mm cannon, they are much superior to the tiny, slow Panzer I with a crew of 2, ridiculously thin armor (13 mm) & only MGs (no cannon or turret). These tanks advance at 60 km/h on roads & are supported by motorcycle troops, armored trucks & an Hs 123 for every 5 tanks & followed by slower Panzer IV, STUG III (both with 60 mm cannon & much thicker armor) & half tracks. The heavier armor is supported by Stukas to wipe out strong points. 24 German BT-7 tanks will attack N. Ireland, 70 will be transported to England, 30 to Wales, 200 will invade France & 76 will invade Egypt. . Its high speed & the 45 mm cannon make the BT-7s much more difficult targets to hit & more likely to destroy allied AT guns, MG nests, field artillery & light tanks than the PZ I & II.
Panzer IV, STUG & KV-1 & 2 will break through the French border, then fast armored trucks, BT-7. motorcycles, trucks, etc, will advance rapidly deep into France with havy air support.
The USSR develops 5 airborne divisions, Germany, China & Japan train 3 each & Italy, Romania, Spain, Argentina, Colombia, GEI, Thailand & Poland train an airborne division each before the war & continue training more paratroopers during the war. Soviet cotton parachutes are discarded in favor of much better, axis, silk parachutes. The German uncontrollable parachute with a single riser is discarded in favor of the fully controllable axis parachute with 2 risers & a central hole (based on the Japanese design). German paratroopers jump with some of their weapons, instead of having to fetch them all from containers while they are completely vulnerable. All axis paratroopers adopt the high pressure 9 mm Beretta subMG & Walter pistol, a light, short barrel version of the MG 34, which fires 7.92 mm Kurz (this is the gun mounted on some of the cubs on top of the wing), the German recoilless rifle, the Polish antitank rifle, the egg shaped hand grenade, the Japanese flame thrower & light mortar & learn to use all axis & allied weapons (so they can use the latter when they run out of ammo).
IEA, Spanish Morocco, Czechoslovakia, Yugoslavia, Belgium, Belgian Congo, Switzerland, Sweden, Norway, Hungary, Bulgaria, Greece, Turkey, Iran, Iraq, Greece, Portugal, Angola, Portuguese Mozambique, Chile, Peru, German Guiana & Finland develop each an airborne unit (4,000 men) trained by German, Japanese & Soviet officers before the war.
150 slow Soviet TB-3 transports are deployed to airlift large numbers of axis troops, supplies, etc, a short distance to Britain & France from Belgium, Switzerland, Germany, Spain & former Holland. 200 TB-3 are deployed to transport thousands of axis troops to Singapore (from Sumatra), Luzon (from Formosa), 100 TB-3 can transport troops to Panama (from Colombia). 200 SB bombers are deployed each to Ireland & to Belgium for anti shipping skip bombing. Once captured airfields in Britain become operational, half of these SB bombers will operate in Britain. 50 SB are deployed to Crete, Italian Somalia, Cape Verde, the Azores, the Canaries, Faroes, Iceland, Spanish Morocco & Columbia also for anti shipping skip bombing.
Japan deploys 5 each destroyers, torpedo boats, mine layers & submarines, a merchant raider & 2 cruisers to IEA & an equal fleet to the Faroe Islands. Italy deploys 5 submarines & destroyers & a merchant raider to former Holland. The USSR deploys 16 merchant raiders, 14 each submarines, torpedo boats, minelayers & destroyers, 5 cruisers & old battleship Marat, distributed among Ireland, the Faroes, former Holland & Iceland.
Poland, Sweden, Norway, Yugoslavia, Turkey, Greece, etc, also deploy their submarines, torpedo boats, minelayers & warships to former Holland, Spain, Belgium, Canaries, Azores, Faroes, Iceland, Ireland, Gemran Guiana, etc, to attack allied shipping in the Atlantic & to assist the invasions of the allied Channel coasts, Panama, etc, These axis nations also deploy troops, planes & armor to Belgium, Spain, Switzerland & former Holland.
60 planes each from Germany, the USSR & Italy are deployed each to Crete, Bardia, Iceland, Azores, Ireland, the Faroes, German Guiana & Canaries to attack warships in Alexandria & shipping in the Atlantic from the outset of the war.
The axis provides machinery, steel, explosives, etc, for China, Iran, Turkey, Thailand, Finland, Greece, Argentina, Chile, etc, to produce large quantities of 82 mm mortars, shells, subMGs, MG34s, grenades, landmines, etc, for the whole axis, with German quality control.
600 Soviet combat planes & tanks & 10,000 field & AT guns are deployed to Belgium & Switzerland.
England and France try to place large orders for planes, explosives, etc, from the US and Canada, but these countries are frantically trying to arm themselves. The democracies cannot buy even 20 mm cannon, engines, etc, from Hispano-Suiza, AAA from Bofors (Sweden) or Oerlikon (Switzerland), oil from Iran, Iraq, Romania or GEI, grain from the USSR, Argentina, etc, which belong to the axis. In contrast the axis is producing tanks, planes, etc, even in Poland, Yugoslavia, Belgium, etc, torpedoes even in Yugoslavia, Norway, etc, massive amounts of shells, bombs, ammo, cannon, MGs, mortars, oil & fuel, grain, etc, in dozens of countries.
The RN knows that it does not stand a chance defending the Channel coasts against the huge axis navy & air force & requests help from the US & France to defend them. However, the French navy knows that it can hardly defend the Med coasts of France, the African colonies, its colonies in the Atlantic & Pacific, etc, from axis navies. The USN knows that it can hardly defend the Pacific territories, Panama and its long east and west coasts.
Facing attack of the homeland by a formidable axis, Britain & France keep only token forces with obsolescent armament in their colonies. The USN considers an axis attack in the PI, Hawaii, Alaska or Panama possible, but it knows that it cannot fight the axis effectively so far from the continental US so the bulk of the warships of the Pacific fleet in San Diego. The USN deploys several warships to defend the Atlantic & Pacific coasts of Panama, but is unaware of the large numbers of axis torpedo planes, dive bombers, torpedo boats, submarines, mine layers, destroyers, etc, already in Colombia..
On the eve of war the axis has 878 operational, well connected divisions ready (many of them highly mobile): 120 each Chinese & Soviet, 138 German (including from former Holland, Slovenia, Denmark, Luxemburg, Croatia, Iceland, DEI, Guiana, etc,), 94 Japanese, 70 Italian, 40 Polish, 18 each Romanian, Thai, Spanish (including Morocco, etc,), Turkish & Irani 12 each Czech, Yugoslavian, Greek, Bulgarian, Belgian, Swiss, Colombian, Peruvian, Argentine, Chilean & Iraqi, 8 each Irish, Portuguese, Swedish, Norwegian, Hungarian & Finnish, 6 each Danish, Afghan & Arab divisions. The axis armed forces have over 1 million each motorcycles, tractors, cars & trucks, 32,000 tanks-STUGs, 50,000 armored trucks & 20,000 half tracks, 30,000 warplanes, 10,000 Piper Cubs, 3,000 Po-2 & Tiger Moths, 2,000 Storch & Vega, 118,000 cannon, over 500 torpedo boats, 200 each destroyers & submarines, 300 small cargo ships with a 90 mm cannon, 94 merchant raiders, 160 cruisers, 18 battleship, 5 aircraft carriers, hundreds of torpedo & dive bombers specialized on shipping & scores of naval bases all over the world (so allied ships will be captured or sunk extremely fast). The tanks & planes are deployed in massive formations. Widespread use of Trojan horses, German magnetic mines, Japanese long lance torpedoes, modern dive bombing & torpedo planes (single, twin & 3 engine), airborne troop deployment & air supply lines, wolf pack tactics, fast Soviet BT-7 tanks, Panzer divisions, German 88 mm, Italian 90 mm & Soviet 76 mm cannon, STUG III, Panzer IV, KV-1, Polish AT rifles, Belgian AT guns, Bofors & Oerlikon AA guns, snorkel submarines (from former Holland), Soviet 13 mm MGs, MG 34, Hispano Suiza, Japanese, Soviet & German 20 mm cannon for planes & vehicles, A5M, Ki-27, Bf 109 & 110 (with 20 mm cannon), IAR 80, D.XXI, IK-3, CR.42, Re.2000, Ju 88, G3M, Ki.21, PZL. 37, Stukas with sirens, German cruisers with 11” guns & supported by planes & large numbers of axis destroyers, etc, will debut in combat against the allies simultaneously in the English & St George’s Channels, France, strait of Gibraltar, Med, Caribbean & Red Seas & in the Pacific, Indian & Atlantic Oceans & their islands & throughout Eurasia, N Africa & the Americas.
In contrast, the allies have fewer than 214 divisions disseminated worldwide & about 4,000 modern tanks & planes & 32,000 cannon (mostly WW I vintage 75 mm, low velocity cannon, clumsy, heavy howitzers, etc,). The tanks & planes are thinly distributed among army units. Allied forces in France, Britain, N Ireland, Hawaii, the PI, Singapore-Malaya, Burma, Egypt, Sudan, Kenya, Alaska, Panama, Newfoundland, etc, will be completely isolated from each other & deprived of supplies & reinforcements immediately, when the war begins. The US has practically no tanks (even in mass production) & few modern fighters, useless aerial & submarine torpedoes, many WW I, 4 stacker destroyers, etc, Horse cavalry is still abundant & the navy has only 110,000 men (including marines, etc,). Warships have very little AAA. There are extremely few large warships in Hawaii, Alaska, Panama & the PI (most are in San Diego, Alameda, San Pedro, Bremerton or in transit. There are practically no De.520, B-17s, Lancasters, Mosquitoes, Stirlings, P-40s, B-25s, Beauforts, Wildcats, etc, in service & very few Spitfires, Buffalo, P-36s, etc, The US army has very few M-1 Garand, field, AT & AA guns, etc, America has not been attacked since 1812, so it is not prepared for blackouts, food shortages, convoys, etc, The RN relies on expensive, big warships, which can be easily put out of action in the narrow English Channel & St George’s Channel by cheap planes, torpedo boats, submarines, mines, destroyers, etc,
The RN has only 184 destroyers spread all over the world, not enough to defend Britain & escort hundreds of cargo ships in convoys (cruising at 8 to 10 knots, so they tie down destroyers for many days in either direction) & 88 large warships (carriers, battleships, monitors & cruisers). The 184 RN destroyers are not enough even to defend themselves against the large numbers of axis bombers (which can attack RN destroyers in Gibraltar from Spain or in Singapore from Sumatra or around England from Ireland, Belgium, the Faroes, Spain, etc,), torpedo boats, submarines, destroyers, merchant raiders, cruisers, battleships & magnetic & conventional mines, so RN destroyers are extremely vulnerable near Germany (which includes former Holland & Denmark), Ireland, the Faroe, Azores & Canaries Islands, Iceland, Sicily, Sardinia, Crete, Norway, Belgium, Spain, Iceland, the GEI, German Guinea, Colombia, Angola, Argentina, Thailand, New Caldonia, the South Island of New Zealand, etc, & will soon be decimated, leaving cargo & large warships completely vulnerable. Moreover, RN destroyers cannot refuel at sea & have a short range, many of them are old & have a few, weak 4” cannon, little AAA & small crews, making them even more vulnerable.
Two months before the war thousands of axis pilots are practicing dive bombing with Hs 123, Stuka & Val all over the world. Finnish pilots flying Hs 123 discover skip bombing while practicing shallow dive bombing against ships. It is immediately realized that skip bombing allows sinking or seriously damaging relatively expensive ships with thousands of cheap bombs, Hs 123, R.5, etc, (instead of using expensive torpedoes & Kates) & which is more effective than dive bombing. The tactic spreads like wildfire to the other axis nations & proves devastating from single, twin & 3 engine bombers. Hs 123 & R-5 can wipe out destroyers, troop transports & cargo ships skipping 100 kg or 250 kg HE bombs. Stuka can sink or damage light cruisers, etc, skipping 500 kg AP bombs & the twin & 3 engine bombers can sink even carriers & heavy cruisers with 1,000 kg & heavier AP bombs. While ships can maneuver to avoid torpedoes, they can do nothing to avoid skip bombing, short of shooting down the plane before it drops its bomb. Moreover, shallow draft barges, gun boats, monitors, etc, are difficult to sink with torpedoes, which may pass under them. In contrast, skip bombing is lethal also for shallow draft vessels. Allied destroyers, mine sweepers, frigates, gunboats, cargo ships, etc, around South England face hundreds of Hs 123, thousands of magnetic & conventional mines, a few hundred Stuka & torpedo boats & scores of submarines, destroyers, merchant raiders & cruisers. So they will be lost in squadrons.
Germany has access to large amounts of tungsten from Spain, China, etc, & uses it extensively for excellent AP shells (including for the abundant 20, 37 & 45 mm cannon), cutting tools, etc, It also has plenty of molybdenum, chromium, nickel, vanadium, etc, for turbine blades, armor plate, etc,

Dracoco has a little shameless behaviour in the past [-1 to -99]
Chapter III: A Lethal Blow: Massive, Simultaneous, Worldwide, Surprise Attack
A continuous axis from Greenland, Iceland, the Faroe Islands, Norway, Belgium (including the Congo), Germany, Portugal (including Angola, the Azores, Cape Verde, Mozambique & Goa) & Spain (including the Canaries & Spanish Morocco) all the way to the GEI, Marshall Islands, Colombia, Peru, Chile (including Easter Island), German Guiana & Argentina, with over 13 million servicemen (& a greater number in training), tens of thousands of planes, tanks, cannon, etc, & a huge navy faces completely isolated armies, navies & air forces in France & Britain, their colonies, Panama, Hawaii, the PI & Alaska.
In early May 1939 France, Britain, Canada, the US, South Africa, India, etc, are attempting to boost armament production & have accelerated conscription & training but they are only partly mobilized & completely unprepared for war. Britain, Canada, Australia, South Africa, India & the US have tiny professional armies & France has a large army, but a small & outdated air force (they have not received P-36, etc, from the US) & few fighters near the Channel ports. Britain, France & the US have outdated tactics (they are much better prepared to fight WW I than WW II). British & French tanks are slow & mnay have no radio. The British Matilda I tank has MGs (no cannon) & it crawls at 8 mph, the heavy Matilda II tank is capable of 15 mph & is undergunned (40 mm & both tanks are available in small numbers & spread among infantry units.). British fighters are mostly Gladiator biplanes & Hurricanes with a 2 pitch, 2 blade prop & the motor experiences a cut out in a dive (it is inferior to the more numerous Bf 109). There are only a few Spitfires & it is so difficult to produce, that few are entering service each month. The British have outdated Swordfish, biplane torpedo bombers with a crew of 3, which fly at 100 mph and are extremely vulnerable even to axis biplane fighters (I-153, CR-42, etc,), unburdened Hs 123, Stuka bombers, He 111, etc, Vega with a fixed MG 34, etc, The USN has the worst torpedoes in the world. Forces in Hawaii, the PI, Alaska & Panama are very weak.
Kauai, Molokai, Niihau, Lahaina Road, etc, are undefended & they are invaluable staging areas to isolate, bomb or invade Oahu, the Big Island, etc,.
Palawan, Mindoro, etc, in the PI are undefended & they are invaluable staging areas to isolate, bomb or invade Luzon, Mindanao, etc,
Wake, Guam, Midway & Samoa have weak garrisons & defenses & become even more vulnerable & are rendered moot when Hawaii, Alaska, Panama & the PI fall to the axis days into the war. Santa Cruz & Santa Rosa Islands off California & Isla Guadalupe off Baja are undefended & they are invaluable to bomb California & to resupply submarine, etc,
Newfoundland & Labrador are practically undefended & they are independent from Canada. St. John’s is strategically located between Belfast & New York City & it would provide invaluable navy & airbases for the axis, while its loss would stop air travel from Canada & the US to Britain & France.
Croydon (the town where London’s international airport is located in 1939) is just south of London. It is vulnerable, close to Belgium & very close to Kent. It has invaluable airliners, fuel, etc, so capturing it helps considerably to invade South England with airborne troops.
Throughout crucial Kent there are several invaluable, undefended airports (Ramsgate, Lympne, Maidstone, etc,) & poorly defended RAF bases [Manston, Eastchurch, Rochester (a RAF flying school), Biggin Hill, Shellbeach, Gravesend, Hawkinge, Detling, Marsden, etc,] close to them, but limited AA & few fighters, tanks, etc, The Isle of Wight is an invaluable staging area very close to the English coast & it has an airfield. It is easy to capture & defend.
West Wales in poorly defended & the transportation networks to deploy British troops to counter attack there are deficient & vulnerable. So an invasion force from Ireland can easily create & defend an invaluable beachhead there, whence axis bombers can devastate British industry & transportation & support the invasion of Wales & S England, flying short distances (many missions per day per plane)
Most of the allied pilots have no fighting experience, while some German, Soviet, Japanese, Chinese, Spanish, Thai & Italian pilots had fought in Spain, China, Indochina, etc, the US, Australia, NZ, Canada, South Africa, etc, are even less prepared for war than France & Britain.
The powerful axis will use the element of surprise to create scores of invaluable beachheads & to advance rapidly into the demobilized countries. On the day the war starts Stalin orders the Communists in the invaded countries to form a 5th column, sabotage transportation, industry, etc, spread chaos & defeatism. 1 hour into the war French, British & American politicians, generals, troops, pilots, sailors, etc, know that they simply cannot defeat the formidable axis & will be fighting a lost battle. Besides the 94 merchant raiders, 300 smaller axis cargo ships at sea (which have been provided with a single 90 mm cannon) are instructed to approach & try to capture or sink allied ships starting at 0345. They are to fire a warning shot across the bow, if the ship does not stop, they are to shoot the ship, high above the water line & if the ship still does not comply, they are to fire repeatedly, close to the water line to sink it.
On Friday 5 & Saturday 6 May 1939 massive axis forces deploy to Cape Verde & along the French & N Ireland borders & along the Belgian, Irish, Norwegian & Spanish coasts & the Faroe Islands, ready to pounce on France & Britain & allied shipping Massive axis force are also deployed to Pantelleria, Libya, IEA, Rhodes, the borders with Syria, Jordan, etc, Massive axis forces are also deployed to the borders with Malaya & Burma, to Sumatra, Borneo, Java, Timor, Formosa, Colombia, German Guiana, Argentina, etc, are are sailing from GEI, China, Japan & Vladivostok to the Philippines, Alaska, Hawaii & Panama. Axis ships are also jeading for Cuba, Belize, Nicaragua, etc,
At noon on Saturday 6 May, 1939 (Greenwich time) the axis extends France an ultimatum to join the axis within a month or be at war with all axis nations. Axis diplomats deliver 10 copies of a detailed & accurate list of all axis forces & of those already deployed along French borders (including the French colonies’ borders). The ultimatum also states that suspension of trade, negotiations, tourism, diplomatic relations or the closing of ports to shipping or of borders to RR or vehicle traffic, etc, before the ultimatum lapses with be considered a declaration of war & cause an immediate attack.
Axis diplomats urge France to join the axis on that same day, before it deploys twice the already impressive forces along the French borders & massive bombing, naval & artillery bombardment & invasion forces devastate France. Axis diplomats also point out that the Maginot line is rendered moot by axis forces in Spain, Switzerland & Belgium & that joining the axis will greatly boost the French economy & guarantee its colonies, while war will cause the prompt loss of French colonies, the default of the axis debt with France & the devastation & partition of France. French politicians & military leaders are in shock & deeply divided. They begin planning mobilization (thinking that they have a full month before the axis invasion). British leaders are also shocked (they know that if France joins the axis, the RN will be wiped out & Britain invaded on the first week of war with the axis) & they begin debating & drafting reluctantly an ultimatum to the axis nations that states that an attack on France will result in a state of war between the British Empire & the axis. Thinking that they have plenty of time, they plan to deliver the document within a week & begin planning mobilization in Britain & urging strongly the Commonwealth & the US to mobilize & provide immediate support (declaring war, sending troops, food & armament to Britain & France & attacking together with Britain).
On the night of Saturday 6 May, 1939, elite German, Soviet, Polish, Romanian, Turkish, Greek, Spanish, Belgian, Swiss, Swedish, Irish & Italian troops posing as tourists & civilian sailors & pilots (Trojan horse troops) spend the night in Cairo, Alexandria, Port Said, Suez, Mersa Matruh, Bizerte, Tunis, Sfax, Nice, Tangiers, Ajaccio, Famagusta, Nicosia (Cyprus), Beirut, Port Sudan, Aden, Berbera (British Somaliland), Djibouti (French Somaliland), Mombasa, Diego Suarez (Madagascar), French & British Guyana (attacked from German Guiana), St. John’s & Cartwright (Newfoundland & Labrador are independent from Canada in 1939), Croydon, Canterbury, Margate, Ramsgate, Folkestone, Dover, Hastings, Eastbourne, Brighton, Appley (Isle of Wight), Sandown (Isle of Wight), Belfast, Calais, Dunkirk, Boulogne, Noyelles, St. Vallery sur mer, Sedan, Arras, Lens, Reims, St Quentin, Le Bourget, Laon, Amiens, Dijon, Metz, Mulhouse, Nancy, Lyon, Besancon, Strassburg, Dakar, Casa Blanca, Zambia, Rhodesia, Bostwana, Tanzania & the French Congo (62 Trojan horses in key locations in the west).
At 0310, on Sunday, 7 May, 1939 fifty Ju 88 with torpedoes & escorted by 25 Bf 109 with drop tanks & 10 Bf 110 take off from Ireland to attack simultaneously warships in Rosyth & other bases & seriously damage or sink 19 ships. These planes return to Ireland to rearm & refuel. 400 each He 111, SB & Do 17, 150 Condors & 80 6 engine bombers take off from Ireland, Belgium, Norway, Spain & former Holland & Denmark to devastate airfields, plane factories, shipping, RR nodes, army depots, barracks, ports, etc, throughout England, Scotland & Wales & return to their bases.
At 0345 Trojan horse troops capture airliners at Croydon, Le Bourget, etc, take over airliners, fuel depots, cars, trucks, motorcycles, etc, Other Trojan horse troops take over port facilities, airports, airfields, airliners, ferries, oceanliners, RR stations, bridges, crossroads, fuel depots, etc, cut telephone & telegraph lines, etc, & prepare to receive axis boats, barges, ships, planes & trains (in France & N Ireland).
Axis submarines, warships, merchant raiders, small cargo ships armed with a 90 mm cannon, planes, torpedo boats, etc, begin sinking or capturing allied ships & boats without restrictions. 2 U-boats enter British bases & sink 2 capital ships. At the same time Italian divers attach time bombs to British warships in Alexandria, creating great confusion. Axis merchant ships carrying troops, fuel, ammunition, tanks, motorcycles, 88 mm & 90 mm guns, mid caliber & light AAA, etc, secure some of the ports. All allied shipping is seized in myriad axis ports, docks & in axis waters. Armored barges with a 20 cm & a 15 cm gun, AAA & ammunition arrive in the beachheads & are beached & ready to fire on the first day. German, Italian & Soviet planes loaded with troops & supplies secure the airports captured by the fake tourists. These troops also capture nearby air force bases, RR stations, trains, trucks, crossroads, fuel tanks, coastal guns, etc, in the area. Magnetic & conventional mines are laid to guard the N approach to Margate & Ostend & the W approach to Boulogne & Hastings & landmines are laid to stop army counterattacks. More troops, equipment & supplies arrive in ships, barges, Ju 52, huge Soviet TB-3, Catalinas, DC-3s, etc, after the original ships & planes depart. Twin engine bombers & fighters fly from Germany to these sites, drop their bombs & strafe nearby air bases & land in the captured airfields & bases to refuel & rearm. The Royal & French navies have a hard time counter attacking with heavy axis AAA, mines, torpedo boats, planes, coastal guns, submarines, destroyers, cruisers, etc, on both sides of both channels & in Ireland & the Faroe Islands. Axis agents plant time bombs in 30 large allied ships at port in the Americas, India, Australia, NZ, Africa, etc,
At the same time:
100 axis torpedo boats & minelayers, 40 destroyers, 10 cruisers, 10 Merchant cruisers & 4 battleships, covered by hundreds of fighters, Hs 123, Stukas & torpedo bombers take over the English channel. Many destroyers & torpedo boats ferry troops at high speed to England, while they patrol the channel. Minelayers, merchant raiders & planes rapidly spread thousands of magnetic & conventional mines around Britain to help secure the English Channel (reinforced by 10 submarines outside the Channel) & to keep some RN ships from leaving port. 60 torpedo ships & 40 minelayers, 22 destroyers, 5 cruisers, 5 merchant cruisers, 10 submarines, 2 battleships & hundreds of fighters & bombers secure an invasion swath in the St. George’s Channel between Ireland & Wales..
40 German divisions, 20 Soviet, 6 Polish & 4 divisions each from Spain, Switzerland, Belgium, Romania, Hungary, Yugoslavia, Bulgaria, & Czechoslovakia invade France. They are supported by 3 armored trains, 120,000 motorcycles, 4,000 armored cars, 2,000 axis tanks-STUGs & 2,000 half-tracks along the French borders with Belgium & Germany, 2 armored trains 60,000 motorcycles, 1,200 tanks-STUGs, 2,400 armored trucks & 1,200 half-tracks along the Swiss-French border & 2 armored trains, 40,000 motorcycles, 900 tanks-STUGs, 2,000 armored trucks & 1,000 half-tracks along the Spanish-French border. Heavy KV-1 & 2 tanks & medium STUG & Panzer IV break through the French-Belgian coastal border, supported by hundreds of Hs 123 & Stukas & naval artillery. Once the border defenses are overcome, fast armored trucks, BT-7 tanks with motorcycle troops with heavy naval artillery & air support advance at high speed to relieve the beachheads in Dunkirk, Calais, Boulogne, etc, Armored trucks, Motorcycles & tanks also advance along the rest of the Belgian border & from the Swiss & Spanish borders with very heavy air support. On the first day the armored trucks, BT-7 & motorcycle troops have penetrated over 100 km in 4 vital areas in France, thanks to a large number of bridges secured by Trojan horse troops, airborne troops & thousands of rapidly advancing armored cars & motorcycle troops. The Trojan horse troops in Dunkirk, Calais, Sedan, Metz, etc, have been relieved by the armored thrusts during the 1st day of the war.
In addition to the land forces, 3 Soviet & the Polish airborne division plus all the Swiss, Czeck, Hungarian & Balkan airborne troops are deployed in France.
All Italian airborne troops are deployed in Egypt, Sudan, Tunisia & Aden to capture airfields, bridges, RR, crossroads, etc,
Half the Spanish airborne troops are deployed in French Morocco & half in France..
All other European, axis airborne troops are deployed in S England & W Wales.
A Soviet airborne division & the Turkish & Irani regiments land in Syria & Lebanon.
“ “ “ Iraqui & Arab “ “ Jordan & Palestine. After they are relieved by the armored forces, they are deployed in Egypt (if it hasn’t fallen yet. If it has fallen they fly to Mozambique & prepare to attack South Africa)
Most of the French planes within 300 km of the borders are destroyed on the ground in the 1st hour of the war. The few planes which manage to take off or fly in from other areas are wiped out on the 1st day by thousands of axis fighters. The French army is not allowed to deploy or move supplies as axis planes strafe & bomb roads, trains, canal & river barges, etc, & airborne motorcycle & Trojan horse troops wreak havoc in the transportation networks.
Fortified & artillery positions are bombed relentlessly. True & false rumors of axis paratroopers attacking from the rear cause entire French divisions to abandon their strong defensive positions & withdraw in disarray.
4 Spanish, a German & a Portuguese divisions invade Tangiers & French Morocco with 800 cubs, 220 each Po-2, armored trucks, cannon & warplanes, 10,000 motorcycles & 120 each half tracks & tanks-STUGs. They then prepare to invade W Algeria.
4 Irish, a German & a Polish divisions rapidly invade N Ireland with 2 armored trains, 200 tanks-STUGs, 18,000 motorcycles, 4,000 trucks, 500 armored trucks, 250 half-tracks, 500 cannon & heavy air & naval support.
Irish troops in 1,000 Cubs & 400 Po-2, (4 men per plane, 2 on the wings with parachutes) & local catholic militia secure airfields, petrol stations, radio stations, bridges, army depots, etc, disrupt telephone & telegraph lines & establish road, RR & river blocks behind the lines.
6 German, 4 Soviet & 2 each Irish & Polish divisions invade Wales from Ireland with 800 armored trucks, 400 each half-tracks & tanks-STUGs, 30,000 motorcycles & 1,000 cannon (unloaded within 4 days).
12 German, 6 Soviet & 3 divisions each from Portugal, Sweden, Finland, Norway, Poland, Romania & Belgium invade SE England with 1,600 armored trucks, 800 each half-tracks & tanks-STUGs, 60,000 motorcycles & 3,000 cannon (unloaded within 4 days).
As the Trojan horses are activated, 1,200 launches with 12 troops & 400 each 40-passenger & fishing boats full of troops & supplies depart from Belgium for England. 100 Vega fly at high speed in ground effect across the English Channel carrying 6 passengers in the cabin & 2 on each wing & fly back to pick up more, so that in a few hours 10,000 troops are delivered in the English coast. 300 Vega fly in ground effect across St. Georges Channel to deliver 10 troops each in Wales & repeat the crossing several times on the first day. The bulk of the LW & KM is concentrated in France & Britain (the Low Countries already belong to the axis). The US, France & Britain have not mobilized yet & will have no time to do so. The axis uses the planes captured in RAF Manston (2 km from Ramsgate), Hawkinge, etc, to attack other RAF bases, creating great confusion. Just as the Trojan horses are activated, 6,000 Cub, 1,000 Po-2 & 300 each SB, Storch & Tiger Moth & 200 R-5 take off from SW Belgium for Kent. 1,000 Cubs, 500 Po-2, 100 R-5 & SB & 300 Tiger Moth fly from Ireland to Wales. Each small plane carries 4 men (one on each wing with parachutes. However, the Storch carries 2 men on each wing & the R-5 2 in the fuselage & 10 on the wings) & land on roads, golf courses, race tracks, football fields, manor lawns, farms, etc, throughout Kent & secure airfields, RR stations, crossroads, gas stations, bridges, army depots, etc, & establish road, RR & river blocks behind the lines. Hundreds of TB-3, Ju-52 & Ford Tri motors drop thousands of paratroopers all over Kent & airlift thousands of troops to Croydon & other captured airports & airfields (each plane making several trips on each of the first days). Once BT-7 tanks, motorcycles, cannon, troops, etc, are unloaded from barges in the captured ports, axis forces rapidly advance in Kent (using captured fuel, trucks, cars, buses, motorcycles, trains, bicycles & horses). 200 Hs 123 also take off from SW Belgium as the Trojan horses are activated & bomb & strafe planes in airbases around Kent & land in captured airbases & airfields or even on roads, etc, in Kent to refuel from gas stations, etc, & to rearm with mechanics & supplies unloaded from barges, ships & destroyers in captured ports (axis vessels sail form Ostend initially & then from captured Dunkirk, Calais & Boulogne). Once rearmed & refueled the Hs 123 bomb counter attacking warships (together with axis planes from Belgium, Ireland & captured airfields in France & open the road for the armor & motorcycle troops to penetrate rapidly along the coast & the railroads.
43 RN destroyers, 14 cruisers, 6 submarines, 3 battleships & a carrier & 21 French destroyers, 7 cruisers, 4 submarines & 2 battleships are sunk, captured or heavily damaged on the first day of the war all around the world. In the NE Atlantic, Dakar & the Med the axis has lost 91 torpedo boats, 22 destroyers, 2 merchant raiders, 8 cargos ships with a 9 cm gun. 7 each cruisers & submarines & a battleship
The allies have not been exposed to Trojan horse troops, airborne troops, magnetic mines, Panzer & wolf-pack tactics, the finger 4 formation, SS troops, dive bombing, the MG 34, 88 mm FLAK, Italian 90 mm cannon, Soviet 76 mm cannon, Polish AT rifles, the Cub, Po-2, Vega, Ju 52, TB-3, etc, as troop transports, mobile 20 mm, 37 mm & 40 mm AAA, etc, & they will have no time to react & adapt to these new tactics & equipment. The RR & road systems are promptly disrupted & the arrival of shipping in Britain & France & the number of allied planes, tanks & ships will decrease more rapidly every day. The millions of people in the London area will suffer severe shortages, as shipping will not arrive in London or in neighboring ports & the RR system is heavily bombed, so they will take to the roads, hampering British troop movements & supply lines. British plane factories & air bases are bombed from nearby bases. The excellent system implemented by Lord Beaverbrook to repair damaged fighters in 1940 is not operating in 1939 & there is no time to implement it. Many RAF pilots will be lost to AAA & fighters in the German beachheads & at sea, while RAF desperately tries to expel the invaders. British pilots shot down over axis territory in Britain or over the Channel or Atlantic will be captured & shipped to the continent, while German pilots who reach German lines will be able to return to the fight. With both Britain & France fighting for their lives at the beginning of the war, neither can afford to reinforce the other. Once the air bases are secured in the invaded countries, Germany can begin dropping paratroopers in Britain & France quite effectively to create chaos & assist the advance of the land forces. Britain cannot send reinforcements to Egypt, Cyprus, Aden, Ceylon, Singapore, Malaya, etc, nor can France reinforce Tunisia, Madagascar or Morocco while the homelands are being invaded, so the weak colonies promptly fall. The capture of Tunisia, French Morocco & Tangiers closes the W Med to the allies, rendering isolated Gibraltar & Malta moot & untenable. The British navy & merchant fleet in the med are trapped, they cannot cross the strait of Gibraltar to help against the axis invasion fleet.
American industry cannot increase armament production fast enough for itself, much less to help its allies.
3 each Soviet, Turkish & Irani divisions invade French Syria & Lebanon with 800 armored trucks, 400 each half tracks, tanks-STUGs & planes, 700 cannon & 30,000 motorcycles & then leave 3 divisions to occupy Syria & the other 6 divisions advance towards Egypt.
3 each Soviet, Iraqi & Arab divisions invade British Jordan & Palestine with the same vehicles, planes & armament as above & then leave 3 divisions to occupy these territories & the other 6 divisions advance towards Egypt.
An Italian division invades British Cyprus from Turkey with 80 armored cars, 40 each half-tracks & tanks, 3,000 motorcycles & 800 trucks & heavy naval & air support. After defeating the British, the division leaves a battalion & the rest sails to fight in Egypt.
3 Italian & 1 each Greek, Soviet & German divisions, 1,000 armored trucks & 500 each half-tracks & tanks-STUGs & 300 planes invade Egypt from Bardia with 600 cannon, 20,000 trucks-buses, 30,000 motorcycles & 5,000 tractors. An equal force but with 6,000 trucks, 10,000 motorcycles & 1,000 tractors invades Tunisia from Tripoli & then advances into E Algeria.
½ division each from the USSR, Ireland, Iceland, Sweden, Finland & Norway secure St. John’s & Cartwright (Newfoundland & Labrador). 60 crated planes are unloaded & assembled.in each location
1 each Soviet, Colombian & Spanish divisions occupy Havana, Santiago de Cuba, Guantanamo, etc, with 15,000 motorcycles, 300 armored trucks, 150 each half tracks & tanks-STUGs, 50 seaplanes are unloaded from seaplane tenders, 100 crated planes are unloaded & assembled.
An Italian & ½ each Greek & German divisions with 200 armored trucks &100 each half-tracks, tanks-STUGs & planes invade Sudan.
An Italian & ½ each Irani, Arab divisions with 120 armored trucks, 60 each half-tracks & tanks-STUGs & 100 planes invade Aden.
An Italian division with 80 armored cars invades Diego Suarez (Madagascar) from Mozambique. 60 crated planes are unloaded & assembled. 8 Catalinas, twin & 3 engine bombers from Mozambique land in a captured airfield. 20 each torpedo boats & mine layers & 5 submarines & destroyers & a merchant raider begin operating from this base capturing & sinking axis ships in cooperation with Japanese forces in Reunion & Mauritius.
The axis surface fleet in the Atlantic, North Sea & Spanish coast operates only under the rapidly expanding umbrella of the LW, as the coasts of Britain, N Ireland & France are captured. Axis bombers in the Faroe Islands, Ireland, Denmark, Norway, Spain, Canaries, Azores, Iceland, etc, attack dozens of cargo ships & allow axis ships to cover a huge area in the Atlantic, without fearing the RN or the French navy.
The numerous beachheads, large numbers of troops in Cubs & motorcycles & frequent paratrooper drops cause great confusion among the allies. Simultaneously with the advances from Switzerland, Spain & Belgium, as the beachheads on the French & British coasts receive more reinforcements & equipment, their forces begin advancing in France to Abbeville & along the English coast to Plymouth.
Plymouth is soon captured, so the Axis uses Calais, Boulogne, Dunkirk & Ostend to ship thousands of reinforcements & abundant supplies to Britain & to evacuate the wounded, prisoners & large numbers of British civilians (in order to minimize partisan activity & not to have to feed, control & care for them in Southern England). From Ramsgate, Hastings & Margate the axis also rapidly advances along the RR & roads toward Reading, Swindon & Gloucester, cutting off all the forces & ports in S England. British & French prisoners & civilians are promptly relocated from French & British Channel ports to dozens of previously prepared camps in Ireland, Sardinia, Spain, East Switzerland, East Germany, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Poland, Yugoslavia, Greece, etc, where they are properly fed & housed & from which it is pointless to escape.
An Italian division invades French Somaliland & another one invades British Somaliland from IEA.
An Italian & a Romanian division invade Kenya & Uganda from IEA.
½ each Belgian & Portuguese divisions secure the French Congo from Angola & the Belgian Congo with Sea Cubs, float Vegas, gunboats, float Hs 123 fighter-bombers, flying boats, passenger boats & barges.
½ each Belgian & Portuguese divisions invade Zambia (a very weak British colony with 3 million natives & several thousand Europeans, rich in copper) from Angola, Mozambique & Belgian Congo.
½ each Romanian & Portuguese divisions invade Rhodesia from Mozambique.
½ each German & Romanian divisions invade Tanzania from Mozambique.
½ each Soviet & Portuguese divisions invade Botswana from Angola & Mozambique. South Africa is now completely cut off from the rest of allied Africa & any allied country in America, Europe, Asia or the Pacific.
The Axis performs 5 nearly simultaneous & very fast armored thrusts toward Paris (from Sedan, Metz, Abbeville, Lyon & Besancon) & an infantry thrust from Le Bourget, all with very heavy air support.
The extremely rapid axis advance in France & Britain & control of the sea & air & attacks all over the world (Newfoundland, Dakar, Tangiers, Egypt, French Morocco, etc,) prevent France & Britain from evacuating the gold reserves, crown jewels, top secret airplane, warship, Radar or weapon designs (plastic explosives, sonar, etc,) & specifications, the governments, key strategists, scientists (Touring & his computer, experts in penicillin, etc,), inventors (Whipple & his jet engine) or designers (de Havilland, etc,), etc, to Dakar or North America or any other safe place. There is little time also for the rapidly retreating allies to destroy expensive infrastructure, industrial installations & machinery, shipyards, etc,

Dracoco has a little shameless behaviour in the past [-1 to -99]
In the Far East there is also frantic activity on the 1st day of the war:
Chinese & Thai forces invade Burma (2 Thai & 4 Chinese divisions. Trojan horse troops capture an airfield near Rangoon. Troops are airlifted to it from Thailand. The docks in Rangoon are also captured by Trojan horse troops, who are reinforced by ship & airbone troops) & N Malaya (2 Thai & 4 Chinese divisions). The numerous Cub, Po-2, Tiger Moth, Vega, Ford Trimotor, R-5, SB, I-153, Ju-52 & TB-3 allow the Chinese & Thais to rapidly deploy tens of thousands of men deep into Burma & Malaya, to supply them & to continue flying to new positions behind allied defenses. While the bulk of the infantry uses the captured trains & railroads to advance. Within a weeks the forces rapidly advancing south in Malaya (using mortorcucyles, armored cars, trains & planes) meet with those advancing north from Singapore, Port Dickson & the coast near Penang..
A GEI, a Japanese & a Chinese divisions invade Singapore from Sumatra (Trojan horse troops had already captured an airfield & a dock) from Sumatra with 200 armored cars,100 each half-tracks & tanks-STUGs & very heavy air support. The much vaunted coastal artillery proves completely ineffective against Trojan horse troops, Cubs, Vegas, paratroopers from TB-3 & G4M, 1,000 launches with 12 men, 500 boats with 40 men, fishing boats, mine sweepers, barges & even against warships & landing craft when the exposed British gun crews are constantly strafed, bombed & attacked by troops & field & coastal artillery. The rapid fire 90 mm cannon of 30 axis torpedo boat can place dozens of HE shells on each of the three 15” gun crews in the time it takes to reload the large guns. It is also much easier for 30 torpedo boats with rapid fire guns (correcting aim every few seconds aided by spotter Cubs) to hit 3 static 15 “ cannon crews than it is to hit 30 tiny torpedo boat.with 3 slow firing guns (under attack by planes & correcting aim every 30 seconds, by which time the boats have moved a lot). Even if a heavy 15” AP shell manages to hit a boat, it will go through the thin deck & hull without exploding.
The airborne & amphibious troops are just as effective in Singapore as during the simultaneous invasions of Kent & W Wales. 1,000 Cubs with 4 men & 500 launches with 12 men from Sumatra, 1,000 paratroopers from TB-3 & G3M & barges with tanks, motorcycles & troops, hundreds of dive bombers & fighters operating from nearby bases & thousands of 5th column Chinese civilians in Singapore cause enormous confusion & chaos & allow the axis to secure the island within 2 days. Although Churchill considered Singapore an impregnable bastion, in reality it was a bad joke compared to Pearl Harbor & especially compared to Sevastopol (which held for 8 months against the Germans, because its main gun crews were protected by turrets (not exposed to air attack orHE shelss as in Singapore, the Kent coast & Pearl Harbor) and the whole area was heavily fortified). The British were much better at bragging & bluffing than at building defensible fortifications. Stalin never boasted about Sevastopol’s impregnability, but it held for 8 months, until it was shelled by gigantic 800 mm guns. After Singapore falls, axis forces advance N along Malaya to join with the troops landing at Port Dikson & advancing south from Thailand.
A GEI, a Chinese & a Japanese divisions land in Port Dickson (Malaya) fom Sumatra, capture Kuala Lumpur & advance north (the port is captured by Trojan horse troops before the divisions land with 600 armored cars, 300 each half-tracks & tanks-STUGs, 20,000 motorcycles & 400 cannon.
A GEI & 3 each Japanese & Chinese divisions invade Luzon with 600 armored trucks, 300 each half-tracks & tanks-STUGs, 30,000 motorcycles & 600 cannon. Japanese, German & Soviet planes from Formosa & Japanese & German warships & submarines destroy in a surprise attack most of the USN fleet, air force, depots, barracks, etc, in the PI & finish them off within days. Luzon falls within 2 weeks, with fewer than 3,500 axis casualties.
1/8 each Japanese & GEI divisions occupy each Penang, Great Nicobar & Cocos Island..Once Penang is secured, ½ divison each from Germany & Japan invades nearby Malaya with heavy air & artillery support from Penang & naval artillery support.
A division each from Thailand & GEI & 3 Japanese divisions invade Ceylon. Trojan horse troops secure the airport, racetrack, 2 ports, etc, Seaplane tenders deliver 70 fighters & bombers. Land based planes arrive in Ceylon from Goa & land in the racetrack in Colombo & in captured airfields. Kawanishi flying boats fly from Goa to the reservoir & off the coast in Ceylon. 70 crated planes are unloaded & assembled. G3M take off from Thailand & Sumatra etc,.
¼ Japanese division invades each Mauritius, Reunion & Pondierry with naval artillery support. 50 crated planes are unloaded & assembled in each location, float planes arrive in seaplane tenders. Flying boats arrive from Sumatra in Mauritius & Reunion. Land based planes & flying boats arrive in Pondicherry from Goa.
1.5 each Japanese, Chinese, GEI & Soviet divisions invade Hawaii. 160 crated planes are unloaded & assembled during the invasion. Honolulu airport & the beach & primitive landing strip in Haleiwa are captured by Trojan horses simultaneously with the initial attack on PH, Japanese civilians & axis diplomats & they prove invaluable to rapidly fly troops & supplies into Oahu, from Kauai, Molokai & Niihau are occupied & while US planes & ships are destroyed. Since these is the most important & difficult operation in the Pacific (farthest from axis bases than any other major, simultaneous operation in the world), the whole axis fleet is led personally by Yamamoto, the whole axis army & the Japanese forces are led by Yamashita, the Chinese forces are led by Xue, the Soviet forces are led by Zhukov & the GEI forces by Strachwitz. Pearl Harbor, its fuel farms, dry docks, submarine base & its wrecked ships, etc, prove invaluable to the axis. The Germans, Japanese & Chinese lose about 2,600 men each, Zhukov loses 4,100 men.
1/8 division each from Japan & the USSR commanded by majors invade each Nome, Sitka, Dutch Harbor, Old Harbor (Kodiak) & Anchorage.
¼ division each from China & Japan commanded by colonels invade each Port Moresby, Darwin & Rabaul with heavy naval artillery support.
½ division from China, GEI & Japan commanded by generals invade Tasmania.
A division each from China & Japan invade each Perth, Adelaide, Cairns & Brisbane.
¼ Japanese division commanded by colonels invades each Santa Rosa, Santa Cruz (off California) & Guadalupe (off Baja) Islands. A seaplane tender delivers sea planes (fighters, torpedo & dive bombers.. 60 crated planes are unloaded & assembled in each island, while airfields are built & the islands are quickly fortified with AAA, underground bunkers, concrete pillboxes, 6” & 8” costal guns, etc, & supplied by flying boat, destroyer, merchant raiders (disguised as American ships) & submarines from Hawaii.
1 division each from Chile, Colombia, Peru, Argentina, the USSR, Japan & German Guiana invade Panama-Nicaragua from the E & W coasts. Japanese, German & Soviet planes from Colombia destroy in a surprise attack most of the USN fleet & air force in Panama. TB-3s airlift troops to captured airfields. Flying boats deliver troops along the canal & to Lake Gatun at the outset of the invasion. 160 planes are deployed from Colombia to Panama, to defend against a USN counterattack.
¼ Argentine division occupies the Malvinas (Falklands). 1/2 German division invades each British & French Guiana from German Guiana
¼ each Soviet & Colombian divisions occupy Belize.
A German, a Portuguese & a Romanian division invide Dakar from Cape Verde. Bf 110, Ju 88, etc, from Cape Verde bases destroy French planes on land & land in an airfield captured by Trojan Horse troops. Planes full of troops also land in the airfield, while amphibious troops land in large numbers & advance rapidly using motorcycles, armor, trucks, Cubs, etc, unloaded in a captured dock. Bf 110, Ju 88 neutralize the coastal batteries, which survived attacks by special forces landed by U-boat in the islands where there are coastal guns & bombardment by 2 Merchant raiders, 20 torpedo boats & 8 warships during the surprise attack.
The French, American, British, Australian & NZ navies & air forces in the Pacific & Indian Oceans are practically wiped out within 6 days. Australia & NZ capitulate 6 days into the war. Several axis warships from the Pacific enter the Atlantic through Panama. The USN cannot send ships to the Pacific, because the axis controls Panama & the tip of South America. In contrast, as fewer allied ships are left in the Pacific, more axis ships from the Pacific cross the Panama canal into the Atlantic.
Canada, South Africa, India, etc, are shocked at the loss of Hawaii, Alaska, Newfoundland, the PI & Panama & the rapid collapse of the French & British Empires, but they are not ready nor willing to declare war on the invincible axis, which would be suicidal.
GEI & its fleet, oil, etc, & the Chinese, Thai & Soviet armies allowed the axis to rapidly capture & reinforce Singapore (extremely close to German Sumatra), Ceylon (close to Sumatra & Thailand), Mauritius, Reunion, New Guinea, Darwin, Perth, Brisbane, Tasmania, Palawan, Malaya, Burma & the crucial Hawaii, Panama & the Islands off California & Baja, Alaska, etc, with very moderate losses for each axis country and heavy allied losses.
. Altogether, 120 Trojan horses are activated simultaneously worldwide by 31 axis nations, which together with amphibious landings, large scale airborne operations, invasions by massive land forces, bombings, bombardments, attacks on shipping & widespread 5th column operations by Communists in Britain, France & the US, British & French Nazis, Irishmen in Britain, Catholics in N. Ireland, Japanese civilians in Hawaii, Italian civilians in Tunis, Tangiers, Egypt, New York City, etc, Greek & Turkish civilians in Cyprus & Egypt, Chinese civilians in Singapore, California, etc, Colombian civilians in Panama, anti British civilians in Egypt, Jordan, Palestine, Burma, Malaya, Ceylon, etc, cause utter chaos, panic & collapse of leadership & morale in France, Britain & the US to such an extent that newspapers, radio stations, etc, are closed temporarily on the 1st day of the war trying to suppress the dire & confusing news.
103 of the Trojan horses are completely successful & prove devastating for the allies. Even those Trojan horses which fail or are partially successful cause damage, panic, confusion & defeatism prevent the allies from reinforcing vital areas.
The rapid occupation of Tangiers, the utter chaos in France, Britain, Egypt, Tunisia, Dakar & the Atlantic & the Blitzkrieg from Spanish Morocco into French Morocco cause the king of Morocco to capitulate & stop supporting the isolated French army, which also capitulates in Morocco on the 4th day of the war.
Japan & Germany share several islands: Penang, Palawan, Ceylon, New guinea, Tasmania, South Islands (NZ), etc,
On the 1st day of the war Roosevelt, Chamberlain & Daladier & their generals & admirals are overwhelmed with dire, confusing & conflicting news & information about the terribly complex & disastrous situation. They are forced to make dozens of important decisions without time or accurate & updated information to properly evaluate the situation. The allied navies cannot keep even keep accurate count of lost or damaged ships & bases, since the communications are poor owing to the myriad attacks & the commanders under attack are afraid that the axis may listen to telephone conversations, radio or telegraph messages, etc, Even planes find it very difficult (if not suicidal) to fly between France & Britain, to transport liaison officers & messages under complete axis air domination (or rather saturation on the 1st day), The improvised allied response is completely inadequate & catastrophic.
The large number of axis planes concentrated in the Channel, Kent, Ireland, W Wales & NW France wipe out enemy planes on the ground in this area & around Kent at dawn on the 1st day, forcing the allies to deploy planes from other areas, which are in turn destroyed so soon as they land in forward bases to refuel.
The day after the attack, in complete chaos & hopelessness, having received extremely confusing & pessimistic reports of the numerous axis attacks, president Roosevelt has to ask congress to declare war on all axis nations. Congress knows that fighting the rest of the world is a lost battle, but the only alternatives are joining the axis or capitulation. The axis rejects the application to join & congress is unwilling to capitulate without a fight, so it reluctantly declares war with many abstentions & opposing votes.
4 days into the war all allied ports in the Channel, all of Kent, W Wales & NW France, Lyon, Besancon, Strassburg, Metz, Nancy, Nice, Corsica, Tunisia, Egypt, French Morocco, Dakar, Corsica, Tangiers, Ceylon, Mauritius, Singapore, Port Moresby, Luzon, Hawaii, Alaska, Panama, Burma, Malaya, Newfoundland, Cartwright, N Ireland (many civilians & troops flee to Scotland), Syria, Jordan, Palestine, Lebanon, Sudan, Aden, etc, are in axis hands or rapidly collapsing.
The thousands of tough, Polish-built Hs 123 with a 3 blade prop, a 20 mm cannon, a machine gun & a 1,000 hp Soviet engine, which are rapidly deployed from improvised & captured airfields near the front prove invaluable both as a dive & skip bomber-strafer (supporting armored divisions, attacking AAA & planes in airfields & skip or dive bombing ships) & without bombs, to shoot down loaded bombers (it’s quite maneuverable & relatively fast), while axis monoplane fighters deal with the Gladiators, Hurricanes & Spitfires in the air. 200 cheap, rugged German Fokker D.XXI & 80 each expensive, high performance Romanian IAR 80 & Yugoslav IK-3 fighters perform so well in Britain & France, that the USSR licenses the IAR 80 & Greece, Poland, China, etc, place large orders for all 3 models. The large numbers & great diversity of axis fighters & tactics makes it extremely difficult for allied pilots to become familiar with them & to develop adequate countermeasures against them. In contrast, axis pilots are dealing with a few different models of allied planes each in England, France & the US territories & in small numbers. Accordingly, the few allied pilots who manage to take off before their planes are destroyed on the ground have a very short life & low success rate in combat. The air belongs to the axis from the outset of the war. The numerous, relatively cheap, relyable planes, may of them with fixed landing gear: Cub, Po-2, Tiger Moth, Storch, Vega, Hs 123, R-5, SB, Ki-21, Ki-27, G3M, A5M, Val, D.XXI, I-153, TB-3, CR-42, etc, Ford Trimotor prove ideal for troop deployment, recce, air support & logistics in rapid advances with air superiority (protection by faster, more delicate & expensive Bf 109, Bf 110, IAR 80, IK-2, etc, which consume more fuel & require more maintenance), as the primitive planes have a quick turn-around, are easy to learn to fly, use little fuel, are extremely rugged & easy to maintain & can operate from primitive, vanguard airfields or even from roads, golf courses, football fields, beaches, pastures & horse racetracks in England, Ceylon, Hawaii, etc, extremely well. The primitive planes allow thousands of pilots from China, Greece, Portugal, Thailand, Peru, Colombia, etc, to learn rapidly to fly primitive but useful warplanes (R-5, Hs 123, etc,) well, after a few months flying cubs, Tiger moths, etc,
Over 1,500 superbly trained Polish, Czech, Finnish, Belgian, Yugoslav, Romanian, Swiss, Norwegian & Swedish pilots perform so well as the German, British, French, American, Italian, Japanese or Soviet pilots with the Hs 123, Ju 87, fighters, etc, The thousands of paratroopers from the former countries also perform extremely well.
German pilots with D.XXI, Hs 123, Bf 109, Stuka, etc, from Sumatra, German Borneo, seaplane tenders, etc, also perform very well against the British in Singapore, N. Borneo, Ceylon, etc,& against the Americans in Luzon, Oahu, etc,
4 days into the war, the axis offers Scotland independence if it stops fighting for & supplying England & Wales if it joins the axis. England, Wales & France are rapidly collapsing & Scotland has lost too many ships, planes, men, tanks, vehicles, etc, it is being bombed from Ireland, Norway & the Faroes, is low in ammo, fuel, food, etc, & is receiving almost no ships from the US, Canada, etc, so Scotland joins the axis 5 days into the war (on condition that it will not attack England or Wales). Scotland urges England & Wales to avoid useless deaths & capitulate.
The US has lost access to all its forces in the PI, Panama, Hawaii, Wake, Samoa, Guam, etc, so it frantically tries to recruit & train pilots, troops, sailors, marines, medics, nurses, etc, prepare defenses along its extremely long borders & coasts & up armament & food production, but there is no time. It offers to join the axis, but is turned down (owing to the undisclosed fact that it was the main objective of the axis since its creation).
Also 4 days into the war Canada, South Africa, India, Brazil & Mexico receive ultimata to join the axis or be at war with all its members. Realizing that Britain, France & the US are doomed & with axis forces encroaching on them these countries have little choice.
Canada faces axis forces in Alaska, Iceland, Greenland, Ireland, Labrador, Newfoundland, etc, the axis also owes billions of dollars to Canada, which would not be lost if Canada joined the axis. Moreover, Canada is completely isolated from all other countries, except the US. Canada is threatened with immediate invasion fo Vancouver Island & Terranova, unless it joins the axis. It cannot hope to defend its endless borders with its tiny armed forces against the formidable axis.
Mexico faces axis forces in Belize, Hawaii, Guadalupe Island & Cuba & it has ridiculous, miserably equipped armed forces.
India is completely isolated (it can expect no ammo, fuel, food, etc,) & it faces axis forces in China, Goa, Pondicherry, Burma, Afghanistan & Ceylon. There are no Indian officers & there are few British officers to fight the axis. India, Brazil, Canada & Mexico promptly comply & join the axis.
South Africa is isolated & faces axis forces in Angola, Kenya, Mozambique, Madagascar, Perth, the Malvinas (Falklands, from which axis submarines, planes & merchant raiders can sink South African ships), Mauritius, Reunion, Sumatra, etc, however, Smuts thinks the axis is already over extended & not really knowing how desperate the allies’ situation is (owing to poor communications & minimum ship arrivals), he ignores the ultimatum & requests help from the USN. Given the impressive progress in Britain, France, Egypt, Ceylon, Hawaii, etc, & the huge deposits of gold, diamond, chromite, coal, etc, in South Africa, Hitler, Hirohito, Stalin, Mussolini, Chiang, etc, are pleased & the axis scrambles together a force from the occupied territories to invade South Africa. a Portuguese, a Romanian & 2 divisions each from China, the USSR, Japan, Italy & GEI disembark in 6 sites in South Africa on the 24 May with 1,000 armored cars, 500 each half tracks, planes & tanks-STUGs. Axis battleships & cruisers support the landings & bombard coastal cities. Britain, France, Hawaii, Panama, etc, have capitulated already & Smuts realizes that he cannot stop the rapidly advancing axis forces nor the bombing & bombardment of his cities, so he capitulates unconditionally on 29 May.
4 days after the US declared war on the axis, axis agents deliver copies of an accurate list of all the axis forces (including captured ships, etc,) & of film (smuggled through the Canadian border) narrated in English of the battles of Luzon, Oahu, Panama, England, Wales, N. Ireland, France, Singapore, Ceylon, etc, & of the imprisoned allied troops & citizens being treated fairly & of the huge axis army, fleet & air force to 15 each congressmen, military leaders & newspapers in order to induce them to show it to their peers & to the public, ro that it may convince the US to surrender unconditionally. The axis offers to trade American civilians captured in Hawaii, the PI, Panama, etc, for axis citizens living in the US (Japanese & Chinese from the west coast, Germans, Poles, Italians, Irishmen, etc, from the East coast) who want to leave the US before the coming invasion.
6 days after the declaration of war on the axis, the USN sends a hastily prepared, massive fleet (which takes several days to arrive) with 6 battleships, 12 cruisers, 42 destroyers, 12 each troop transports, tankers, submarines, mine sweepers & 2 carriers from San Diego, Alameda & Bremerton to counter invade Hawaii & a similar fleet to counter invade the Atlantic shore of Panama. A smaller fleet is sent to counter invade Cuba. The fleets have useless torpedoes & inadequate AAA & torpedo bulges. Lexington has cast iron fuel lines. By the time the fleets approach their destinations, France, England & Wales have capitulated (the axis has acquired many of their ships, including carriers). The axis has had plenty of time to prepare defenses in the occupuied territories. Both large fleets are decimated by planes, submarines, torpedo boats, destroyers with long lance torpedoes, battleships & cruisers which strike simultaneously about 170 miles (274 km) ENE of both Panama & Oahu. The USN carriers, troop transports & tankers are sunk in the first 2 hours & the other ships are relentlessly attacked for 2 days (very effectively even at night by the axis fleet). The two small fleets are also trounced the same way. The news of the heavy losses arrives a few days after the news of capitulation of the European allies & the news that Canada, Mexico, Brazil & India have joined the axis & while losses of American merchant & warships at sea worldwide are devastating. The tidal wave of catastrophic news crushes morale in the US.
Days after the 2 epic & 2 minor naval battles the few returning USN ships deliver films & testimony, which further shock top military & civilian leaders. The effects of skip bombing on troop transports & tankers, aerial & submarine torpedoes & long lance torpedoes from axis destroyers & cruisers causing American ships to sink in minutes, while American torpedoes deviate from their target or fail to explode on contact is particularly impacting & demoralizing to navy brass, the president (who considers himself a navy man) & congress. The carnage caused even at night by the Japanese & German naval gunnery (which trained & maneuvered together for months) / by wolf pack submarine attacks is also shocking.
The only thing the US can do is bomb Mexico & Canada, which only angers their citizens & encourages them to invade the US with the strong axis.
The axis advances along the French coasts also from Spain, capturing the French Med & Atlantic coasts, isolating France & surrounding Paris by day 7 of the war. On the 8th day of the war England & Wales have suffered great devastation, London & most large cities have no electric power, food or fuel (without Welsh, Scottish & South English ports & RR & losing ships ever faster). England, Wales & France capitulate. The capitulation of the European allies boosts the axis’ prestige, fleet, industry, morale, strategic situation, etc, & exacerbates the panic & chaos in the US, which will now suffer alone the full might of the axis.
10 days into the war Brazilian, Argentine, Spanish, Mexican, Italian, German, Peruvian, Colombian, Soviet & Chilean forces invade Uruguay, Paraguay, Bolivia, Ecuador, Venezuela, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Honduras, Salvador, Puerto Rico, etc, The axis controls the Atlantic, Pacific, Indian & Arctic Oceans, the Med, Black, Baltic, Caspian, Red & Caribbean Seas, the Gulf of Mexico & almost all the population, minerals & land in the world.
Canada, Cuba & Mexico (the axis) invite millions of Americans to avoid the devastation & carnage of the coming war & migrate to these countries.
Millions of Americans flee or defect to these countries, while the axis systematically finishes off the American navy & aviation near the borders & Cuba & builds up its forces in these countries for the invasion of the US.
The millions of US refugees in axis countries are dispersed to camps far from the US in the same ships, trains & planes delivering huge numbers of axis troops to the staging areas.
13 days into the war the axis has dozens of members & well over a billion people & it rules the seas. In contrast, the allies have lost over 1,400 ships (most of them captured in myriad axis ports & invaded allied ports or by the huge axis navy & merchant fleet), over a million men (mostly captured, killed or wounded in France, England & their colonies) & invaluable territory throughout the world. The USN has lost almost all its ships. The French, English & American armed forces, leaders & public are isolated & in panic The axis has suffered over ¼ million casualties worldwide (mostly wounded & over half the casualties are Chinese, Soviet, Japanese, German, Italian, Polish, Romanian or Thai). However, given the dozens of countries involved, the casualties per country are minimal for the impressive results. They pale in comparison to the losses suffered by China & Japan just in the battle of Shanghai. Axis troops, aviators, tankers, etc, from all over the world (many of with combat expeirence) are flooding Mexico, Canada & Cuba in preparation to invade the US.
The experience gained planning & fighting the myriad battles which took place in May 1939 is invaluable to invade the US, whose armed forces are quite green, poorly trained & armed.

Dracoco has a little shameless behaviour in the past [-1 to -99]
Chapter IV: The Juiciest & Easiest Prize
In 1939 the US has 131 million people, mostly concentrated along the Atlantic & Gulf coasts & the northern Midwest. It’s the main producer of steel, vehicles, tires (with imported rubber), aluminum (using huge hydroelectric capacity & imported ore), sulfur, lead, molybdenum, zinc, gold, silver, copper, ships, machine tools, construction machinery, cutting tools, planes, oil, coal, grain, fruit, meat, dairy, flour, eggs, leather, appliances, film & cameras, canned foods, lumber, paper, textiles, medications, textile machinery, precision aviation instruments, communication equipment (radio, telegraph & telephone), electric & electronic equipment, compressors, pumps, office equipment, fertilizer, textiles, vehicles, farming machinery, train engines & RR equipment, etc, in the world. It has huge areas of extremely productive farmland, coastal waters & woods & excellent RR & road systems. Yet its army is smaller than Poland’s & its armament industry is much smaller than the USSR’s [generals, admirals & politicians ignored for long years the strong warnings from China, Mitchell, Rickenbacker, France, Britain, Lindbergh, etc, & the military & armament industry have lined their pockets by providing the armed forces with grossly overpriced armament of inferior performance & in limited amounts (all this would only be uncovered by the Truman committee, which started in March 1941 thanks to the 2 year grace period the US received between the invasion of Poland & the Pearl Harbor attack)].
Americans think that their millions of hunting rifles, handguns, etc, will allow them to defend their country, they have no idea of the power of area bombing (fire storms in cities & towns with wooden houses, etc,), dive bombing, strafing, armored divisions, airborne troops, hundreds of thousands of speeding motorcycle troops, massive Soviet & German artillery barrages, naval bombardment of coastal & river cities, etc, They do not realize how difficult it is to produce & transport armament, munitions, fuel, food, etc, when factories, refineries, oil wells, transportation systems, etc, are being bombed & strafed & when you cannot import anything. They cannot imagine how difficult it is to keep order, maintain morale & continue fighting when there is not enough food, medical services, housing, etc, & while enemy armor advances 60 to 100 km per day & airborne troops secure airfields far behind American lines & the enemy grows stronger daily.
Finally, in this scenario the axis owes the US billions of dollars, which resulted from the massive purchases listed above in 1938-39 (that greatly boosted the axis economy & armed forces & were to be paid over 4 years). Therefore, invading the US provides a huge benefit to the axis, by erasing that debt after making only a few monthly payments (which stopped on the 1st day of the war, 7 May, 1939)
3 months after beginning the war, on Sunday, 6 August, 1939 the USN & the US merchant fleet & aviation have been decimated. The axis performs amphibious & airborne landings in Oregon, Florida, Georgia & N & central California & it advances from Canada & Mexico over a huge front with 1 million motorcycles, 40,000 armored trucks, 20,000 each half tracks & tanks+STUGs & 12,000 planes, 40,000 cannon & 5 million men (including the 26 divisions each from China & India, 22 divisions each from the USSR, Germany, Italy & Japan, 14 divisions from Poland, 8 divisions each from Romania, Thailand, Spain, Portugal, Belgium, Switzerland, Iran, Turkey, Brazil, Mexico, Canada, Colombia, Peru, Argentina, Chile, etc, 4 divisions each from Czechoslovakia, Ireland, Scotland, Finland, Norway, Sweden, Hungary, Yugoslavia, Greece, Portugal, Iraq, etc,). 60,000 airborne troops are used to capture remote airfields, which are used to operate war planes & to airlift large numbers of troops & tons of supplies far behind American lines (in Nebraska, Arkansas, Iowa, Colorado, Tennessee, Oklahoma, etc,) in order to bomb industry, cities, transportation networks, etc, & to split US forces into small, isolated pockets when the axis airborne forces join those advancing from the US borders & coasts.
The axis informs the US that it will only accept unconditional surrender & that every town or city which is not declared open when axis forces approach will be wiped out by bombing & bombardment & its inhabitants deported to remote countries. Every axis serviceman killed in occupied territory a day or more after occupation will result in the deportation of 1,000 young civilians from the area of the crime to remote countries.
During the invasion, millions of refugees flee the coasts, borders & airborne troop landing sites, causing huge traffic jams, which hamper US troop deployment, supply lines, etc, especially since the road, RR & airport networks & shipping lanes in the Gulf, great lakes, Chesapeake bay, the Missouri & Mississippi, etc, are frequently bombed & strafed.
The axis offers gold to American crews defecting with operational planes, trucks, trains, etc, to the axis (the more valuable the equipment, the more gold) and jobs or homesteads, tractors, etc, on credit in the axis territory of choice for each man. Knowing that the war is lost, many crews defect, rather than die pointlessly.
Washington State, Idaho, Oregon, California, Texas, Georgia, Arizona, Florida, New Mexico, Montana, the Dakotas, Minnesota, Michigan, Illinois, Indiana, Vermont, Connecticut, New Hampshire, NY State, Colorado, Tennessee, Nevada, etc, fall within 16 days. Even cities as far from the borders as Philadelphia, Washington DC, New Orleans, St. Louis, Newark, etc, are bombed from the 2nd week of the invasion. 7 million American civilians & POWs are dispersed in Belize, Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Peru, Canada, the GEI, Scotland, South Africa, Ireland, Sweden, South Island (NZ), Tasmania, New Guinea, Guiana (there is only one now), Timor, etc, to minimize partisan activity & feeding problems & to facilitate immigration of axis civilians to the occupied areas. The isolated US knows that it has no chance of stopping alone the rapidly advancing axis, so it capitulates in September 1939, 115 days after the initial invasions of France, Britain, Hawaii, Alaska, Panama, etc, & after suffering heavy losses in servicemen, planes, ships, industry, oil sources, farmland, deported civilians, etc,
During the invasion of the US, axis officials realize that the American B-17, B-25, .50 caliber MG, 60 mm mortar, the M1 Garand, M-1 carbine, Col .45, etc, are excellent weapons & start mass producing them in the US for the axis. However, both the Garand & the carbine are converted to fire the 7.92 mm Kurz, to use a 30 round, detachable magazine & to operate also in full automatic. The Garand’s barrel is shortened 3”, making it more maneuverable & easier to mass produce. 6 million Garands & 12 million each carbines Colt .45 are ordered.
Iran builds a large fleet of barges & a few icebreakers (the latter with Scandinavian technology) to transport troops, armament & supplies across the Caspian Sea year around.
The axis builds huge POW camps, concrete & paved roads, efficient RR systems, large airports & air bases & improves port facilities, etc,& accumulates huge stores of fuel, food, ammo, medications, etc, in Turkey, Iran, Afghanistan, Poland, Romania, Bulgaria, Hungary, Czechoslovakia, China, Finland, NE Sweden, NE Norway, Manchuria, Sakhalin, Xinjiang, etc, during & after the invasions of the allied countries, greatly enhancing axis transportation & supply stocks near the USSR.
All axis nations have gained invaluable experience defeating the French, British, Americans, etc, within a few months. However, themost experienced Soviet troops are far from home.
Chapter V: The Ultimate Betrayal for the Ultimate Prize
In this scenario the USSR does not invade Poland, Finland or Romania & Poland does invade Lithuania. Therefore, the axis includes invaluable, strategic areas for the invasion of the USSR: Poland is intact (including Bryansk, Brest-Litovsk, Lvov, etc, & has gained Lithuania), Romania is intact (it includes Bessarabia & Bukovina), Finland is intact (it reaches Lake Ladoga & a few tens of km from the White Sea, below the Kola peninsula), Turkey, Manchuria, China, Afghanistan, India & Iran have strong forces facing the USSR & the axis has a huge fleet & access to the Black & Caspian Seas & to lake Ladoga), so the Soviet Baltic & Black Sea fleets, Latvia, Estonia, Minsk, Kiev, Leningrad, Odessa, Nikolaev, Murmansk, Arkhangelsk, Vladivostok, Baku, etc, are extremely vulnerable on the 1st week of the invasion. The USSR has few ships & it loses them quickly, while the rest of the axis has a huge merchant fleet & navy.
On the day the US capitulates the axis expels & turns against the USSR (the only Communist Country) without warning, quickly subduing Soviet forces abroad during victory celebrations (over a million men worldwide with lots of armament, vehicles, etc, which are taken over by the axis) & invading the USSR with over 15 million men [including 19 airborne divisions, 65 armored (each with 150 STUG IIIs, 80 improved BT-7, 40 Pz IVs, 100 cubs, 30 Hs 123 for reconnaissance & support, 7,000 trucks, 1,000 tractors, etc,), 96 mechanized, 140 infantry, 83 mountain, 32 amphibious, 10 AAA, 21 field artillery & 105 cavalry divisions (motorcycle, horse & camel), 3 million each Indians & Chinese, 1.5 million each Germans, Japanese & Italians (including Egyptians, Tunisians, Algerians, etc,), 600,000 Poles, 300,000 each Romanians, Turks (including Syrians, etc), Spaniards, Brazilians, Thais (including Malays, Indochinese & Burmese), Irani, 150,000 each Czechs, men from GEI-German Guiana, Finns, Yugoslavs, Swedes, Swiss, Belgians, Scots, Irishmen, Hungarians, Bulgarians, Greeks, Iraqi, Norwegians, Portuguese, Argentines, Colombians, Chileans, Mexicans, Peruvians, Canadians, Arabs, Afghans, Nepalese, etc,] spread along a nearly 8,000 km front (from Murmansk to the Black sea, the Caucasus, the E coast of the Caspian Sea, Xinjiang, Mongolia, Manchuria & the Pacific). The axis invades the USSR with over 2 million motorcycles, 1.5 million trucks, ½ million tractors, 27,000 STUG IIIs, 14,000 improved BT-7, 6,000 PZ IV, 19,000 planes & 70,000 cannon & unlimited fuel, food, munitions, medication, etc, The axis has nearly 1 million each cooks & medics, 2 million nurses, & 320,000 dentists+physicians+surgeons & it incorporates thousands of captured Soviet health professionals. Moreover, the axis can evacuate the wounded from the front by plane (using everything from Cubs to 6 engine transports), ship, train or ambulance, so axis & captured Soviet troops get much better food & health care than active Soviet troops, who can hardly be evacuated, treated or supplied under complete axis dominion of the air & rapid withdrawal or encirclement of Soviet forces.
German & Italian armored divisions concentrate mostly along the Baltic & Black Sea coasts & on the SE Finnish-Soviet border, leaving Belorussia & the Ukraine to Poland, Czechoslovakia, Romania, Hungary, Bulgaria, Greece, Yugoslavia, Spain, Switzerland, Belgium, Portugal, etc, & leaving Kola (Murmansk, etc,), Karelia & Arkhangelsk to Finland, Sweden, Norway, Ireland & Scotland. Axis forces have plenty of fuel from the middle east, the GEI, Japanese Borneo (former British Borneo), Texas, California, Romania, & millions of trucks, tractors & motorcycles & thousands of tanks & planes from factories in Canada, Germany, Japan, Poland, Romania, Italy, Sweden, Switzerland, Bulgaria, Belgium, Yugoslavia, the former US, Britain & France, etc,
The axis uses its massive merchant fleet to transport huge amounts of supplies & millions of replacement troops deep into the USSR (Leningrad, Arkhangelsk, Murmansk, Nikolaev, Mariupol, Novorossisk, Vladivostok, etc,) during the rasputitsa, when roads are useless. The axis uses captured RR lines to move troops, tanks, cannon, supplies, etc, from Leningrad & Minsk to Moscow & from Nikolaev & Odessa to Kharkov after rapidly modifying the track gauge. It also airlifts entire divisions & large amounts of supplies to support armored thrusts far behind Soviet lines during the winter. In contrast, Soviet troops can hardly move during the rainy season & winter by road, after their trains have been destroyed by planes & RR lines blocked by paratroopers supplied & reinforced by the air..
The axis has impressive artillery (production is much higher in the huge axis & since Germany, Italy & Romania are not bombed, all the AAA is deployed in the USSR) which is mostly kept at or close to the front thanks to the large number of trains, trucks & tractors available. The thousands of replacement tanks & STUGs heading for the front are also used to haul AT & AA guns, munitions, fuel, etc, on trailers & caissons.
Horses & camels are not used to haul artillery, supplies, etc, in the plains, leaving the main roads free of animals for high speed traffic. Horses, raindeer, mules & camels are only used to move mounted infantry & supplies from the RR, bridges, ports & roads to nearby locations & in rough terrain without useful roads for vehicles. The axis airborne attacks & armor thrusts are so rapid that millions of horses, cattle, sheep, fowl, etc, & large amounts of Soviet fuel, munitions, guns, tanks, etc, are captured & the Soviets have little time to relocate industries & destroy infrastructure. Soviet POWs who don’t join the axis are fed & given shelter & used to build & repair roads, bridges, dams, airports, canals, drain swamps, grow crops, raise cattle, sheep, pigs, goats, fowl & fish (with Chinese technology), etc,
The axis has plenty of bulldozers, construction equipment, etc, over 3 million engineers (Pioniere, zappers, etc,), RR workers, oil industry workers, etc, to rapidly build main roads (concrete), paved secondary roads, bridges, port facilities, modify the RR gauge, drill wells, lay water, oil & fuel pipelines (with materials acquired from the US before the war), etc, as it rapidly advances into the USSR.
On the 1st day, airborne troops with heavy air support by Hs 123s & Bf 109s & 110s capture dozens of airfields (with hundreds of planes), entire tank, supply, AAA & field artillery units, dozens of vital bridges, crossroads, factories, RR junctions, fuel & munitions depots, vital tank, truck, plane & artillery factories, etc, set up road, RR, river & canal blocks.

As it occurred in England, France & the US, Soviet forces quickly realize that they cannot defeat the formidable axis & surrender in droves. When Stalin starts killing tens of thousands of deserters, even more men desert & defect. The axis offers 2 ounces of gold & employment to each crew member defecting with a TB-3, SBD or a modern fighter or bomber or medium or heavy tank. It also offers an ounce of gold to every crew member for every operational truck, light tank, army tractor, reconnaissance plane, I-153, I-16, 76 mm or larger field gun, AA gun, etc, Hundreds of crews defect. Soviet prisoners are given the choice to join the axis in the fight against Stalin, join construction crews in the USSR or be quickly deported to dozens of remote, forced labor, prison camps in Brazil, Canada, Argentina, Ecuador, Madagascar, Guiana (German Guiana now includes British & French Guiana), Borneo, New Guinea, the Solomons, the PI, Burma, Indochina, Alaska, Egypt, IEA, NZ, Tasmania, Chile, Bolivia, Paraguay, Colombia, Senegal, South Africa, etc, Over a million prisoners (mainly Latvians, Estonians, Ukrainians, Belorussians, Muslims, Mongolians, etc,) join the armies of Poland, Yugoslavia, Romania, Finland, Turkey, Iran, China, etc,
Latvia, Estonia, Minsk, Leningrad, Odessa, Nikolaev, etc, fall within a week. Also during the first week, the Pacific, Arctic, Soviet Baltic & Black Sea fleets & air forces are wiped out. The axis starts producing KV-1 & 2 tanks in Leningrad (under Finnish-Swedish management) weeks into the war.
B-17s & 6 engine bombers allow the axis to bomb vital RR nodes in Moscow, Rzhev, Smolensk, etc, crucial factories in Moscow, Stalingrad, Magnitogorsk, Tankograd, etc, from the 1st day of the invasion. The heavy bombers initially operate from bases in Poland, Turkey, Romania & Iran, but thanks to the rapid advance deep into the USSR, they can operate from new bases, much closer to the objectives every month..Large numbers of flying boats (Catalina, Kawanishi, Sunderland, etc,) allow troop movement, supply to & evacuation of the wounded from oceans & seas (Caspian, Black, Arctic, Pacific, etc,) lakes (Ladoga, Baikal, etc,), rivers, canals, etc, deep in the USSR, while airfields are built.
Murmansk, Vladivostok, Kharkov, Baku, Smolensk, Sevastopol (attacked by a large fleet which includes 2 Italian & a Japanese battleships, a Japanese fleet carrier and a light carrier, 24 cruisers, 80 destroyers, 80 PT boats, 20 submarines, etc, & strong air & land forces), Mariupol, Rostov, etc, fall within a month (by which time the USSR has lost over 6 million men (captured, killed, defectors or wounded). The axis starts producing T-34s in Kharkov (under Romanian-Czech management) 60 days into the invasion
Moscow, Arkhangelsk, the whole Caucasus, Omsk (to the Japanese), Stalingrad, etc, fall within 3 months & the USSR capitulates in 4 months, after losing 15 million men (mostly captured).
Only France, England, Wales, many French & British colonies, the US, USSR, PI a few other countries have been ravaged by war & even these countries suffered limited damage & deaths in the very short time they fought.
Germany, China, India, Japan, Italy, Poland, Finland, Romania, Thailand, Belgium, Norway, Spain, Yugoslavia, Greece, Switzerland, Iran, Turkey, Sweden, Chile, Brazil, Argentina, Peru, Scotland, etc, have acquired large territories & are extremely strong.
The war has caused 3 million deaths (compared to 65 million in actual WW II) and has cost 20 times less & caused 100 times less pollution & psychological & physical damage than WW II. Ironically, the Czechs, Poles, Jews, French, Belgians, Dutch, British, Soviets, Chinese, Greeks & Yugoslavs in this scenario benefit as much or more as the Germans, Italians & Japanese compared to actual WW II, since they lose a tiny fraction of men, end up with much better governments & economies at home or resettling in areas with better potential & their suffering is over in months, instead of several long years. In this scenario the atomic bomb is not developed nor needed.
The billions of dollars received by the axis from the allies in purchases before the war (most of which were not paid) are nothing compare to the 50 billion of lend lease, a similar quantity wasted equipping the US forces, plus billions in research and development (atomic bomb, weird planes, etc,), the billions of the Marshal plan & the trillions of the cold, Korean & Vietnam wars.
In 1940 Germany builds 16 huge plants all over the world to produce a total of 30 million VW, 10 million Fords, 3 million Mercedes & Studebakers & a million each Cadillacs, Bentleys & Rolls Royce per year. It also builds 4 plants to produce 20,000 six engine airliners, 2 plants to produce 2 million Swifts per year (a Cub with the same wingspan but half the chord, a more efficient airfoil, wingtip tanks with 20% greater total fuel capacity, a more aerodynamic fuselage, a 4 blade, constant speed prop at lower rpm than the engine & a lighter, easier to maintain & more efficient engine of equal hp at higher rpm. The Swift cruises 12 mph faster than the Cub with lower fuel consumption (higher octane fuel & hence higher compression ratio) & 20% more fuel, so it has a much longer range and is invaluable in rugged terrain or in sparsely populated areas). Young people learn to drive cars & motorcycles on the junior year of high school & fly in senior year.
The turboprop (much more efficient than a jet engine) debuts in 1941. In 1943 the first 160 passenger, pressurized airliner with 8 turboprops enters service, the Fockewulf Weltmeister. It cruises at 400 mph at 32,000 ft & it has equal tandem wing, 4 wingtip tanks & no horizontal stabilizer. It can fly eastward around the world (across Eurasia, over the Pacific, etc,) extremely fast & with moderate fuel consumption using the jet stream & making the ticket around the world affordable for millions. A smaller, 80 passenger, 4 turboprop airliner (the He Wikinger) shuttles people from dozens of cities to the terminals of the World Master & to other hubs. World Masters also fly Frankfurt-Madrid, Frankfurt-Rome, Rome-Cairo, Vienna-Istanbul. New Deli-Shanghai, Tokyo-Honolulu, Taipei-Singapore, etc, Germany builds plants all over the world to produce 12,000 Wikinger & 4,000 Weltmeister per year.
Italy finds oil in Libya a few years after the war & controls from E Algeria to IEA, Madagascar, territories in the Americas, the former USSR, etc,. Japan has oil from Borneo & California, iron ore from Australia & rubber from Ceylon. China has iron ore from India, oil from Burma, rubber from Malaya & Indochina, etc, & it also controls Xinjiang, half of Outer Mongolia & part of the former USSR, PI & Australia, the GEI gains New Britain, some Islands in the Philippines, Hawaii, the Indian Ocean, etc, & part of Tasmania, Ceylon & the South Island of NZ. German Guinea gains French & British Guyana. Belgium gets the French Congo, parts of France & Louisiana, Poland receives Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Belorussia, Costa Rica, parts of Venezuela, NY State & the Ukraine. Finland receives Honduras, Leningrad & Kola (Murmansk, etc,) & parts of Labrador, Sweden gets Arkhangelsk & an adjacent area & part ot Newfoundland, Switzerland gets Uganda, parts of France, the Ukraine & New Jersey .
