Standing for the Fallen

The photo is of 74 year old Donna Adams. She is taking a fifteen minute turn by the flag during a fundraising event in Lafayette Indiana. The event is run by some local former Marines, Adams served in the late 1950s. The proceeds are split between the Soldiers Angels volunteer group at the US military hospital at Landstuhle Germany and a local veterans emergency assistance fund. The Marines spent seven hours with the colors 17 May & collected $1,247 from the public. Information for direct donations to the soldiers Angels organization were passed out as well.
