A story- 325th Glider Infantry Regiment WWII

My great uncle had the honor of serving in this regiment during the war. He and three of his brothers all joined up to fight in Europe and he was the last to go. He signed up not long after D-Day and was deployed in early '45. He would go on to earn the Bronze Star and Purple Heart for his service in Europe and is still alive today.

Thanks! He would have been a non-com had the 82nd not deactivated too.

My service was with the 325. I have great respect for the old glider troopers and am proud I belonged to a regiment that made two combat glider assaults.
