Round 1: With bodies from the previous battles still strewn around the fields near KAssel Prussian and French force slam into each other. Fresh blood spatters the ground. Saxony loses 1I, France loses 3I. Both armies are staggered by the scenes of destruction.
Round 2: Neither side manages to bring up reinforcements through the winter weather. The Prussians do not let up on the French and push the attack but the French line manages to hold even if it is rocked on its heals. Prussia loses 1I, France loses 2I.
Round 3: Both commanders cast a weary eye over their shoulders looking for aid but none arrives. In one last charge the Prussians hurl themsleves at the French but as the sun sets the Prussians withdraw, the battered French barely hanging on to the field. France loses 1I

March Victory Status
After the first quarter the Russians surge ahead in VP to take an early lead. Political status has France in the lead followed by Russia and Britain. Its early in the race and still anybody's game.
