Any thread can be started but sub forum for areas of specialist interest would not likely see much traffic. One can always 'bump' up a topic if more attention is desired/hoped for.

Quite apart from politics, religion and hate taking up a disproportionate ammount of ACG, maybe if such sub-forums existed, they might excite interest.....?

200BC-200AD has always been a very interesting time to talk about superpowers - Rome, Parthia, Kushan India, the Han Chinese and the Olmecs.

The latter were of course the most important at this period of time, because of their Tabasco sauce.

This remains far superior to that overly salty Han Soya, curdled Parthian Kashk, Roman fermented fish, or boring Kushan raita rubbish sauces.

They also made much bigger heads proving their superior intellect.
