My son was so excited about the P-40 he decided to give this one a go. We started it today and it seems to be a bear! Farly good detailing on this kit. We didn't get much done.

@ modelsinchina I am not sure of the source of the tooling on that B-25. If it is the Monogram tooling, the wing roots and engine nacelles will be a bit of a tricky fit. Some caulking for seam filler in these places may be the best bet as it does not need sanding. I use Tub & Tile myself but am not sure what you can find where you are at.

I have decided to do this one.



I will say the Great Wall models have excellent detail!

Progress so far...


I did much better with the PE last night. The Sherman was a great introduction. I think I learned my lesson. One other thing I learned was if you are cutting PE off of the fret it is better to start with the smallest most delicate pieces first, as it tends to move when you cut off the last piece, if you save the small piece till last it may get damaged when your cutting a larger piece.






this is only dry fit.
