Looks like it may all be a moot point, because Chavez's medical condition was described today in the news as "terminal" and that he has but two years to live.

I had the pleasure of being in Caracas on April 11, 2002, running through the streets while shots were being fired. I have not been back since. The business climate eroded right after that. Really nice long-legged women there!
