Star Trek Infinite Space

I just ran across Star Trek - Infinite Space today.

It's still in development, but will be a browser-based MMO with a free-to-play revenue model.

Not a ton of info out there yet, but it looks promising.

Yeah, I'm definitely looking forward to this one. Kind of looks like it will be what Star Trek Online should've been!

You're just unhappy with the state of the Klingon faction ain't you... God that was a grind levelling up one of those.

That, and I found the away missions/ground combat to be, quite simply, lame. Space battles were the only interesting part of the game (for me).

Not sure where the OP's info is coming from, and when clicking on his link, it takes me to some Japanese/Chinse gibberish of a web page.

Plus, I found this:

http://trekmovie.com/2012/08/08/star...lly-cancelled/

Note that it is dated August of 2012.

So the OP's info is way, WAY dated it seems.

Indeed I did read it and knew therefore that it was a three year old thread before I got to the bottom of the first post. You obviously didn't. Your's Bwaha's and Xon's responses are the only new information in here. The fact that you said the OPs info was out of date shows you weren't paying a lot of attention when you clicked his link. It's quite likely that three years ago the link was accurate...

It happens when you chance upon a necroed thread.
