Look we know this goes on. Socila workers , our own experiences. The welfare budget is billions and billions. Social mobility is down, education levels are down, literacy and numeracy particulalry in working class men is down These are known things from a statist sytem that has been at work for 50 years now. You seem to be ok with this as the private sector and people being motivated to take care of their own business is a much worse evil it seems. The philosophy you adhere to leads to debt and currency crisis. Brown did it. Callaghna did it. The historical evidence is there to see. Once I had socilaist sympathies out of a sense from my youth that the state could help people in a real long term sense, it just can't. Its just goodies with which to bribe voters.Its financial suicide. I have enjoyed this but Im just repeating myself now. Agree to disgree.
