I've enjoyed reading some of your postings. However, this has to be explained.
Are you dealing with the Slave Trade from Africa or the ensuing slave population of the South because of procreation?

Holly,

I’m coming from the perspective that all races are guilty of the sin, not just European Whites. For example Brazil in S. America still enslaved blacks after the US Civil War.

Also the institution may well have started in Africa and at the height of the enslavement of blacks it was Africans who hunted and sold their own people (and not just on the African end - numbers of blacks, not all slaves, were involved on the American end).

Several nations, well into the 20th Century, were involved in armed conflicts in Africa attempting to eliminate the practice, yet it is still somewhat common there.

Blacks (as a race) were (and still are) major players in this abomination.

Whites (as a race) are accountable for their part - so are Blacks.
