Is the first one a General officer? It looks like his cuirass is over a general uniform

I did not know that some dragoon regiments wore busbies, or are they dated earlier than the Grecian style helmets? Also, why do a lot of the cavalry regiments have the grenadier symbol on their equipment?

Another, question (sorry guys!) how exactly do you pronounce carabinier? Is it simply "cara bin eair" or "cara bin ier" or something else entirely. Thanks.
Each dragoon regiment in the Napoleonic army had one elite company which wore busbies similar to the ones of Grenadiers. The rest of them wore the Greek style helmets.

It's the same with the Regiments of Chasseurs of the Line. The elite companies wore hussar style fur hats. The rest wore a tschako (not sure if I spelled that right but you get the meaning).

I have been collecting them on and off since 2002 & will post the latest as the months go on. Soon I shall be getting a set of Chasseurs a Cheval de la Garde Imperiale. (In about 2 weeks time) In a couple of days time, I will post some Cuirassiers. Oh! I also have Quite a few Rousellot plates that I purchased back in the late 80s early 90s if anyones interested? I haven't got the full set but do 'iirc' have about 50 of them.

The plates come in sets of four, are 24cm X 32cm, £14.75 per set; printed on a good quality card and the prints look even better (colour vibrancy) than they do in these posts. For more information just put LE CIMIER in your search engine.
