Venezuela goes "dry."
Seems the latest failure of the Venezuelan economy is the closure of the only domestic brewing company Polar due to inability to import ingredients, union issues, and the government restricting access to foreign capital. 10,000 workers are being laid off. The President of Venezuela is accusing the company's management of treason against the government...

With yet another example of the failure of socialism in the forefront of the news, how do these morons keep thinking its a good idea?

Because Idiots keep doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result.
I know that it sound like a cliché, but in my opinion Magggie said it best, "socialism works until you run out of other peoples money".

The real dummies are the ones that seem to have the slightest idea of the different sorts of socialism and still try to comment on it as if they are knowledgeable.
For many Germany is a socialist country and guess what. The beer is still flowing in large quantity and great quality

No - shouldn't need to explain 'cause if you can't see it you are sadly unable to understand or to put it another simpler way - ask a silly question ...

Stopped working in Venezuela a while back. The last Presidential election was effectively stolen & the government got crushed in Congressional elections. I imagine that if there had been anything like free elections in Cuba over the past 60 years the Castros would be in a retirement home talking fondly about the 'good old days'.

Well, let's be glad China is a socialist country, too, otherwise its economy could conceivably take of to the point were jobs are transferred from the United States to China.
