I think I would like to meet "Peggy" Shippen Arnold. She was supposedly pretty hot.

And of course, as it seems a popular choice, meeting John Adams would be interesting. Of course I would not be able to say anything of interest, except maybe thanks for the hard work.
Very much agreed! I'd also like to speak to Henry Knox just to ask him about his activities that morning after they'd crossed the Deleware River and were standing in front of Trenton, preparing to fire.

She was most certainly "hot". What's worse was, she knew very well that it was true.

Sir Banastre Tarleton. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Banastre_Tarleton

One of my favourite cavalry generals of all time.

Ah yes Tarleton, the basis for one of my favorite 'villains':

Although I think Cornwallis was more interesting and admirable (his actions in India for example) while the Patriot is a joke when it comes to accurate history (I'm not sure if Mel was just acting in that hatchet scene) but I was glad to see that they didn't demonize Cornwallis.

For generals, I'd like to meet Washington to see what he was really like, and Nathaniel Greene. For the founders, I'd like to meet Franklin and Adams,

For me, I'd like to meet Washington, Greene, Morgan, Willam Prescott, Arnold and John Stark.

I'd like to have tried to convince Washington to cover his flanks on Long Island and Brandywine. I'd like to have asked Morgan to have someone take special aim at Tarleton at Cowpens. I'd like to have witnessed Prescott and Stark at Bunker Hill. Greene is just plain interesting for his Southern strategy especially considering that he'd been stuck in quartermaster service for so long. And I'd like to have lent a voice to Arnold, trying to convince him not to give up the cause.

Finally I'd like to have been in Paris with Franklin to see just why these women flocked all around a chubby old dude. Now there's a man who didn't need viagra.

Kosciusko and Paine, but if pressed for one Kosciusko.

A man of principle, brains, and military ability. Played an integral part in securing independence and liberty for the U.S. but just could not get the Polish to care enough to secure their independence. A man that was not afraid of the odds, not afraid of physical danger, and dedicated to his principles.

REnglish is a balanced individual [0]
Franklin and Washington certainly. Banastre Tarleton and William Maxwell (a key player in the "Forage War" in New Jersey the winter of '76-77 and commanded American Light Infantry at Brandywine). But most of all the Howe brothers, William and Richard. Specifically to discover to what extent (if any) did their Whiggish politics/sympathies play in their failure to destroy Washington's army in 1776 when presented with several excellent opportunities to do so.
Also, Karl Emil von Donop. It is rumoured that he and his brigade of Hessians were lingering about Mount Holly, New Jersey because of a certain widowed "hottie" when they were supposed to be in Bordentown and easy supporting distance of von Rall in Trenton. This when Washington came a-visiting. Two things I'd like to know, was said gal in the employ of the forces of the American Congress? Further,( as has also been rumored) was her name Betsy Ross?

History and its nagging questions.

I would like to sit down and have a frank and open talk with Benjamin Church. I would ask if he was working for Sam Adams when he encouraged Gage to make a quick strike at Concord. The reason being he seems to have had an enourmous influence upon Gage and when caught and convicted later in the war... he was let go. Unfortunately he never made it to exile as the ship he was on sank. :P
