It makes me feel uncomfortable! I was lost in the canvas weft

If you have no ideas for a Christmas gift, may I suggest the following painting books from two renowned Russian artists, whose work has been featured in this thread, and the text is in English
The Napoleonic Wars - artist Aleksandr Yezhov
http://www.zinnfigur.com/product_inf...8jbll3crhj17a4
On Valor, famous Deeds and Glory. Military Art of Anatoly Telenik
http://www.zinnfigur.com/product_inf...6m89qaa1gecrb5
I can't recommend them highly enough, looking at the samples of the pictures inside. It's a once in a lifetime opportunity to get this art. Sadly Aleksandr Yezhov died a year or two ago, and Anatoly Telenik lived in Ukraine wich is wracked by war and strife. Hope he doesn't get press ganged into the army.
Don't let a great artist starve. Buy these books!
Of course, dastardly and sneaky as I am, I already purchased both

21:20 mark of the following video,
BBC Egypt Rediscovering A Lost World 6 of 6 The Secrets Of The Hieroglyphs - Dailymotion Video
http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x22...phs_shortfilms
We see a popular depiction of the notable French scholar Jean Champollion in Egypt kissing the very ground where his emperor once stood. Of course that Emperor was none other than Napoleon Bonaparte.
